She projected the barrier out just a few inches rapidly before reeling it in. She focused on readying a small excess of rai when she realized what he had planned.

The more they trained, the more Daizing sobered up,
"Alright we're about halfway through now."
He said, realizing he was better able to control his actions. A slight tingle went through his arms as he began to reverse change the polarity of his staff, essentially, making it so that it would draw in electricity with each hit.
"Hup!"
He swung to her left, continuing with the same speed. About 20 minutes had passed since they began.

She was seeing with her energy senses and upon noticing the polarity shift from the first hit she quickly restored her barrier and began to 'spin' the polarity of her barrier. Feeding the built up Rai whenever her timings went awry. She attempted to reverse the spin on the section of barrier over her tail as it began to swish towards the staff, focusing on deflection.
"Alright" she replied

Daizing noticed her changes, taking the steps not to over do it. A half hour had passed, there was only 10 minutes left of this simple training. If she were to go further it was up to her.

A cloud floted to the edge of the dojo's groud.

A few moments later she stopped supplying energy to supplement the technique, the barriers wearing down after a few more strikes. Just before the barrier would collapse she jumped back.
"I figured that my reserves would be happier if I stopped"
She shrugged, wrapping her tail around her waist, a moment later noticing it had been 'poofed' by the static discharge.
"Don't suppose you have a tip to stop this" she asked with a small chuckle, knowing how such a small nuance shouldn't be a complaint.
edit: Lina raised an eyebrow at the cloud.

"Hah. Remove the static from it. That's simple enough for you right?"
He laughed a bit. Taking notice to the cloud.
"You there." He said pointing his staff, "Come hither."
Turning back to Lina he said "Well the next time you're that sexy we should ******** awkward pause.
"I mean, tomorrow we'll move into the next step of your training. Dodging."

The man walked foward, as he neared the man he held out his had. "The name is Kwubara. You are? He asked.

Lina removed the static from her tail, then ran a barrier along it like a brush to get it straightened out.
"I suppose that works, would've guessed there'd be an easier way then that though."
She blinked for a few moments as what he just said ran through her mind.
"Err..." she blinked a few times "Right, dodging training" she finished, still standing around blinking for a few more moments.
Lina's mind decided the simple 'Note to self, wear full torso armor again tomorrow' would be a smart plan. A second part of her mind filed away the fact that her looks still worked.
Her attention re-focused on Kwubara.

"Nothing, I was just blown here by the wind from the fight at the Kaze dojo. What element do you teach?" Kwubara told the man.

"Rai, Lightning, Electricity, really. What are you studying?"
He looked at Lina for a second.
"Take over this conversation for me, theres something I have to do."
In a bright flash of lightning he seemed to vanish.
