I was 11 and it was December 11th. Funny huh? I was actually attending the funeral viewing of one of the teachers at my elementary school. I came home, used the restroom, and discovered a dark streak in my panties. I called for my mom and she went for the bathroom pantry and pulled me out some pads.
Took me forever to get used to my period. I was incredibly embarassed about it for years. Now, at the age of 23, I could care less if people know I'm on it. They usually know because I'm cramping and in pain all day, so I don't even need to tell.

Mine started October 11 when I was nine, two months and 17 days away from being 10.
Now that I'm in seventh grade, I'm confortable talking
about it to my friends, and basically anyone else who asks.
The only time I wasn't confortable was when I was in third grade ( before I started it ) we would talk about it, and It would embarass me.

Avicia Took me forever to get used to my period. I was incredibly embarassed about it for years. Now, at the age of 23, I could care less if people know I'm on it. They usually know because I'm cramping and in pain all day, so I don't even need to tell. When I was in college, I was going through my bag. A friend or two was sitting at the table with me. A pad fell out (I always carry one whether I am expecting or not). My friend hastily whispered, "Your pad!" so that I could grab it and hide it, but I was like, "Sooo?" I don't know. I don't care either. I am 23, I have had my period for eleven years. I think most people assume that most 23 year old females get their period sometimes. I don't think the news would shock anyone. I don't care if they see pads or anything.

I was in 6th grade and it was Oct. 7 2001...ugh.
Now I'm a senior in high school....wow. I'm old.

it was when i was 14.
just the day i was very happy bcause my classmates (girls) asked me if i had menstruation. i said "no cool " and i started to laughing of her because i didnt have this awful thing.
that day at night i started to menstruate emo

Haha...It's weird by I started when I was 10 sweatdrop
I went into town with my family and well I had a nice pair of
White shorts...I got home and went to the bathroom
I was having cramps and I didnt know what it was
Then I started freaking out! like am I bleeding to death.

I got mine when I was in 7th grade. I was 12, soon to be 13. I was really excited, because for a long time I had been waiting for it and getting all excited when I thought I was having PMS and cramps. So I was really happy when I saw the blood in my underwear, but my parade got a little rain when I realized how heavy the bleeding was and I didn't have a pad!
Now, however, when I get my period I think "aaaaaw s**t!" because my period wreaks havoc on my life. The cramps are awful, my headaches suck, and I'm always drained.

hi im new (if we have a "hi im new thread" i'll go there later)
ANYWAYS, im 12 i got mine last month (yesh im new... ninja ) but thankfully it was summer vacation so i woke up with really messy hair (as usual) and i pull down my pants and see this big red spot on my underwear, so i just kinda sit there kinda confused, then after like 10 minuts i was like "OH!!!" after i just figured out sweatdrop then i went to tell my mom (who was still asleep) and started to get all crazy about it, but honestly i don't know what the deal is all about, im just growing up
now its back (again) xp and thats kinda it sweatdrop

i was 12 and it was the 3rd of july, i was at a 4th of july party and was in the pool. I had felt crampy, but i just figured i had eaten something bad cuz i didnt know wat cramps felt like, but in the pool i left a trail of blood o.O i thought it was just a cut but my mom turned ghost white and quickly took me out of the pool and explained. looking bck its histarical xD

I got my first period when I was 12, On April Fool's Day, my mom didn't believe me at first...lol. heart

I was 14, nothing special happened... i lined my under wear with toilet paper and went to the store and bought tampons... buuut i didnt dare tell my dad or ask him to get me tampons and i dont live with my mom so i just went it alone... so yeah, nothing special ninja
