The ground shook, like an earthquake was happening. Idrial looked around before running in the direction of the rumbling, phasing through the walls as she went. She came out in the center of the complex, where a group of unknown KMF's had emerged from the floor.

"I think we should use Hogosha...." Niiro had kept up with Idrial, and was now standing stiffly beside her, glaring at the intruders.

"No... There'd be no point... There cramped anyways... so it'll make it easier for us to just attack out of Hogosha." Idrial could be easily seen by the KMF's. She drew both of her duel swords and stood nonchalantly, glaring at the KMF's. "It would have been nicer if you'd knock! Do you know how long it'll take for us to fix that? Who are you, because you are definitely not Britanian...." She had rose her voice so they could hear her.

"Damnit," swore Esther. She began withdrawing at the sight of what had happened. "What's the status of the Mark 00 and the Snipelink?"

"The Snipelink will be up and running shortly, the arm's still going through the last three sequences. The Mark 00 will be ready by the time you return," informed Lance. He was back in the Snipelink's seat and running the checks himself. "The 7th Raptor Squad will arrive in a few minutes after your return."

"Leon, Asura, get back in, now! Kanita, withdraw now!" ordered Eternal as the news was relayed to him. He tapped his com-link to reply to Sonia and the others. "Prep the GunFalken, Arkice, and Arch Zeyper. Ready the Rapiers for battle too. Tell the applicants that if they can fulfill condition 5c they'll be officially apart of the VSD," said Eternal as he got back in his seat after dropping the case back in the storage container.

Kanita had rushed back into the cockpit and started back up the shuttle and began activating the thrusters and would immediately launch back towards the Nightingale as soon as Asura and Leon were back in.

Fear reported to Ahren. "Green light." Ahren smiled. He withdrew the Paladin to be about 100 meters above the base. He pressed the button in his hand. A small rumble formed under the hanger. It seemed minor at first but the furiousness of it picked up. It was an explosion in the tunnel in the mountain under the hanger. The explosion was ripping the hanger from the mountain in pure spectacular fashion. Ahren estimated a total of 17 seconds for anyone to escape the blazing onslaught. All tasks at hand have been cleared. "Checkmate" he said as he watched the flames erupt.

Idrial smiled. "That's okay boys.... I'll promise I'll return him... it's just a matter of how many pieces he's in..." She seemed completely serious, ignoring the rumbling. "I suggest you listen to your comrade... Leon. Maybe I'll see you again..." She suddenly rushed Asura, slashing with both her swords, crossing the slashes.

The shuttle abruptly took off with the explosion tailing it. Kanita's driving helped relieve the fact that there was a explosion on their tail and it's loud noise made the ride all the more bare-able. Kanita headed straight for the Nightingale's docking hatch, where their respective knightmare's were.

"Status on the Phantom?" checked Eternal.

"Still under repairs, it won't be done for about ten or more minutes. Spare parts from storage were pulled out during the earlier battle," reported Sonia.

"Damnit!!" Raven screamed from the cockpit. "That thing is getting away!! Shido?" she tried to get his attention. "There's more of them..."

Raven noticed the incoming flies targeting both her and Shido. "Watch out!" she screamed, speeding in front of Shido with a radiation blast activated. "That was annoying... they just don't give up."

Damn... that thing is just too fast.... almost lost my cool there.' he thought to himself. "Raven, I heard you. We can't do anything here, but to make those other units retreat. They can't hold up much longer. Unfortunately, we have lost a majority of them." He took in a deep breath.

He brought up the com link to get to the Akatsuki. "If you can hear me... I must ask for you to retreat. Damage has been done, and we need you alive. Please help those who cannot hold up and just run like your life is on it." he demanded through his knightmare. An alarm rang from Shido's inner pocket of his jacket. He reached for a cellphone like device.... "Katsuo?" Shido said in surprise. "Hello?" he asked as he opened the silver phone.


"Hey... been awhile since we've talked." a laughing voice answered Shido's answer.

"What the hell are you doing calling me at this time?" Shido replied angrily.

"Oi, oi, oi... calm down. I should be the one panicking. The enemy forces have made contact... with the mountain." the young voice echoing, still chuckling. "And something blew the hanger up too."

”Oh… dear god…. What is the current status now Katsuo?” Shido asked without a friendly offering.

“According to my reports, a shuttle just hit the mountain side of the base….” he replied, still in a good mood. “And I hear there are several Knightmares wondering around the base as well.”

”Are you near the opposing forces?” Shido asked urgently. “I need to know if you are.”

“No… I’m trying to get Mentha up and running. Why?” he replied with a question mark above his red hair

A great pause interrupted the call…. Then a great laughter reached the young man’s ear.

”Oh this is purely amusing….” Shido chuckled. “You are in the right place and the right time.”

Katsuo waited there, shocked. “No… Shido you can’t do that! What if authorities know?!” he cried. “Do not send…. that here!! We will all die if that happens!”

”I’m sorry Katsuo… but you’re bait to get her going. She‘s losing morale.” he replied, hanging up the phone as he heard yelling. He then opened up a link to the Camellia suddenly refreshed after that laugh. “Raven dear…. There is urgent news from the base.” he called.

"It doesn't matter right now. He doesn't even have clearance to anything," replied Eternal. "And all access are traced so it's fine. Just get ready to move out, if needed, as soon as we get to the Nightingale. Your knightmare's getting it's spare parts swapped in. Now shall we have a little truce with the EF? Just because those people are a worse threat.
