He heard Victoria's voice behind him. It sounded as if she was scared or something "I'm alright Victoria." He said while turning around. "It seems to be that those corrupted are back to their normal selves"

A scaly claw came down on Victoria's shoulder as a long snout moved in close to her ear. "There's a girl dying right over there," Ganon whispered, turning Victoria at the shoulder to face Blossom's prone form. "I don't know why you're here helping a General who's still powerful enough to kill knights, but you better get your a** over there and keep her from dying or I will personally make sure that you are known throughout the land as the worst bishop who ever lived."

He added, softly, "Bards will sing tales of your blunders in pubs as far as Brass Mountain."

((Sorry I had this posted up then I decidd to do a lile re-write to cope with he fact that Asami is now gone xD ))

((Edit 2: Aw frick! I give up editing LOL! ))

The noble looked up toward the direction to his left. A light was seen shimmering over the roof of a building that was still in tact together. He let out a sigh of relief, glad had someone from the manor came to assist. He didn't know who but already he was grateful. Just when he was about to move, he sound of a draw string was heard and Ephraim immediatly turned to a sniper that was only a few feet away. The arrow wasn't aimed at him, but at Blossom. No time to think Ephraim moved to his left just as the sniper released the string, blocking the arrow with his spear. Two more came at him and he swiftly knocked them aside, a third soon followed and Ephraim raised his spear only to have the pain in his leg take over, making him unable to block the attack.

The arrow came at him, piercing him directly in the left of his shoulder just a litle below the collar bone. He cried out, much to the pain added to him from his previous battle. He dropped his spear, landing on the dirt with a soft 'clank'. Clutching his shoulder, Ephraim soon followed to he ground, landing on the dirt. If he pulled the arrow out, the head would still be in tact and it would bleed more then ever. He let out a soft 'heh', feeling a bead of sweat roll down to his cheek and looked up a the sniper, seeing him prepare another arrow "I..blundered..that's..a first...ha.." laughing a his own mistake, he pushed himself so he was sitting and gasped a little, enduring the sting from the arrow. "This won't kill me...this will not kill me...I REFUSE to die now"

If he moved, that arrow would hit ne of the two behind him, if he attacked him, he'd still get hit. The sniper drew the string back and Ephraim shut his eyes, prepared for he ultimate pain he was about to receieve. A few moments passed when the noble noticed nothing was happening, he looked up and saw he sniper on the ground, out cold. He blinked and slid back, taking his spear with him back toward the others.

"Right." The bishop got off the ground, assured that Ghis was healed because of the staff's light fading into dimness. "Just seeing all of this... reminds me of..." she shut her eyes in reflection. "E... Etruria."

Opening her eyes, Victoria realized how dismal the situation looked until...

What that what she thought it was? One of the Castle Guard was a fellow bishop, although fallen, his legacy was left behind. A fortify staff. It was said to heal all in a given area. She could use this, surely! Especially since she was in no need of healing herself, it would be perfect.

Gripping the staff, she said a silent prayer for her fallen brother of Elmine. As to carry on his spirit, she muttered the spell "Fortify." Within a second of saying that word, a light, much larger than that of even the Recover staff covered all of Eyris.

Elmine and the Goddess's blessing of healing rained down upon the citizens whom were victims of evil.

Ghis let out a great big sigh of relief as the aura covered him, restoring muscle and flesh to their pre-slashed state. Wherever the Gods are, ah really ought t' thank 'em for their Bishops.

He tried clenching his right fist, but the fingers were a bit stiff from the sudden disuse. They moved a little bit before cramps ran up and down Ghis' right arm, the muscles getting readjusted to being connected again. "Thank ye, miss," he said quietly, standing up. "My right arm thanks ye, too."

He looked back over the battlefield. Many lay dead or badly wounded--some were alive, sure, but... the damages were immense. The peoples' trust in their soldiery was shattered, the soldiers themselves would face repercussions for their actions... who would believe that for a brief while, all that had transpired was not a band of crazed lunatics launching a violent coup?

(Aren't Bishops ineligible to be darkened? You could say it was a Sage or something, though. *Shrug*)

{By fallen, I meant dead. And bishops can't be evil, eh? What about Kenneth and Riev? XP}

Aran saw Ganon somehow, sneak up behind Victoria. Ha, you'd think he'd make a good Assassin He thought to himself. When Victoria found the Fortify staff on the ground which healed everyone in the immediate area. He realized he wouldn't have to use his Vulnarys, well not many of them at least. He also saw The General stand back up looking healed and better. He then just realized that cleaning up this whack of a mess, was certainly going to be hard.

(What about The Senate? Okay they weren't Technically evil, but they were also Bishops/Saints and were Corrupted. Oliver not as much though)

There was a sudden shimmer of light and the wounds Ephraim received were healed. All except the arrow tha was still intact to his shoulder. He took a chance and gripped it, ripping it straight out. Surprisingly, i didn't hurt that much but he was bleeding once more, and the arrow came out in one piece. He sighed, thowing i to the side and reached behind him for the las vulunery he had and applied it to the new wound. The light didn't help his fatigue at all though but he was in less pain now.

Victoria jumped when the reptilian was just appearing right behind her. She hadn't even noticed him until now, having to concentrate on using such a large healing spell. "Ah... the Fortify's power should have covered her... but just in case...."

The bishop held out her Mend staff, but no. No glowing. As far as she could tell, since it didn't react, Blossom was just fine. "Staves can't heal exhastion. She'll need to sleep for that. Thank the Goddess I found a way to save mostly everyone." she said with relief. "Take good care of her... bard. Take her back to the manor. I'm going to... take one last look around."

{I don't know if she's met Ganon personally, but she can tell what he is by his intstruments. D:}

(True. Shouldve said that in the OOC Event chatterbox thing)

Aran too decided that he'd take a look around with Victoria. There were most likely a lot of frightened villagers and exhausted Soldiers. Some of the houses would need to be fixed as well and a lot of peoples' names' to clear.

"Well take a while to recover.. but we can do it." Victoria said confidently. "After all, Etruria never sunk under even after the points of the wyvern riders' spears left it full of holes. Eyris will see its true glory again, that I'm certain of. But it will take all of us. When those at Fefga's heal themselves... rest themselves... they will be a part of rebuilding our Order. Our kingdom... our home. Yes. A homeland... a place we'll always return to, no matter which ends of Learania we're flung to. What we do here will only be the start." Victoria sounded very sure of herself upon concluding her speech, agreeing that much of what Aran said was true, reconstruction was a must.

But then.. just as she sounded completely righteous and noble, she winked. "Besides, if you have me as a part of all that, it will surely be done with the utmost of grace and ease."

(Oliver wasn't Corrupted. He was Beautiful!)

(Anyways.)

Charice doubled black, glancing around among the bodies. She saw the great healing light shine out around her, which was all well and good, but... she hadn't been injured during the fighting. But maybe, if Katherine was still alive...!

But as she looked around, she couldn't see a small woman in robes standing up.

She was... gone. Just like that. In one shot. It just... wasn't fair! The good guys always won, and they always came home alive! What went wrong!? What went... what went...!

Aphrodite suddenly turned and drifted to the ground, beating her wings to allow for a slow and safe landing. She'd spotted Katherine... lying face-down on the ground, a broken arrow shaft lying right next to her. Charice jumped off to roll her over, and saw the arrow at last.

"One arrow... one arrow? Damn you! What have I always said about arrows? 'Get hit by one, you're good as done!' Why, Katherine!? Why didn't you stop it!? You see them coming, you shoot them down!"

Tears rolled down Charice's cheeks as she knelt over Katherine, not yet knowing that Katherine's sacrifice had saved Ghis' life.

She had not died in vain.
