Parafli ~Inside the car~

"You do realize I have a gun, too?"

Chuckling at the police agent, he didn't even flinch at the weapon. As the door suddenly flung open, he rolled outside and pointed his gun directly at the back of Duncan's head. The exhileration that comes before a kill flushed through his body but... he didn't fire. There wasn't as much fun in killing someone with their hands, literally, tied.

So obviously a trap...

Shaking his head, he pointed his gun at Hiram's face next... then just scoffed. Hammering the car with the side of his foot, he didn't do much... except snap the brake cable. As the fluid leaked all over the ground, he smirked to himself but turned away. It would seem to the fool infront of him, or any other person, that he was just kicking it out of petiness.

No reason to waste a bullet on him...

Not jogging so much as "speed-walking", he weaved in and out of the crowd of people, following the murmurs. Everyone who had seen Duncan's binds were curious, all except those who were too busy staring at PARAFLI for his little sherade with the car.

None the less, it wasn't hard to catch up with him. Pushing him into an ally, he slammed him against the wall with one arm.

"Before we begin, understand this - had I wanted to, I could've shot you dead as you ran. But I didn't. So do NOT think even for a SECOND that it is _you_ with the upper hand. Got that, human?"

He said the word "human" with such malicious, it would scare most intelligent people. But then, Duncan just attempted to escape a crazed blind man by running out in the open with both hands tied behind his back. Either he was really brave, or really stupid - regardless of which it was, it meant that he likely wouldn't be scared even in the slightest. Or, at the very least, he wouldn't show it.

But that wasn't Parafli's point. As long as he had ascerted authority, he was happy.

"Now then... even a child could tell this was either a trap, or you have some other reason for luring me here. So, speak up. I told you before, I don't have all day..."

Laughing, he reached into his pocket and pulled out a switch blade. Flipping open the blade, he tossed it towards the man. Watching it clatter to the ground, he shrugged.

"Feel free to cut off your binds. Just don't expect me to help in anyway..."

((GOOD GRAVY! I'm sorry, the RP was moving so slow.....BAH))

Korin~Slums, Misdred Street, Outside of Warehouse~

"You have to leave."
Korin jumped, and turned to see a woman in a tattered rain coat, hunched over, coming towards her. Korin looked at her for a second.
There's something wrong with her back... She thought, wondering what ailed the poor woman. She knew she could heal something like that, but had a feeling this wasn't something to be healed.
She looked into the woman's eyes and realised she was much younger than she looked at first. Older than herself, surely, but still young. Her burning gold eyes were bright and dangerous. And completely unnatural. "Miss, are you--" she began.
"Please, go." Her eyes had a sense of terrifying urgency.
Korin eyed her again, startled. "What's the matter? Is this your house? I didn't mean to--" she started to apologise, feeling she might have trespassed.

((Don't worry, now that we're moving, I'll post really often. I love fast RPs. biggrin ))

((*cries happy tears while getting kicked* Y'all have made me just...so happy...Anyway, now that we're technically back in business, I am going to attempt to actually kill myself Rping wise and lure more actual plot with a third and final character. Someday. For now, I have to figure out a good direction for the plot to go. Obviously, the end I envisioned has everything to do with eventually breaking the barrier that surrounds Andel.

Who wants to play the three thugs?))

Hiram: ~Westcheston Street, Outside Magazine Shop~

He stumbled out of the car quickly, as the blinding sensation really started to kick in. This was completely nuts. Crazy. Insane. How the heck was he still alive? Coughing, he left his wreck where it was and walked straight for a while, getting as lost in the crowd as he possibly could.

Finally he stopped, leaning against the wall of a magazine shop. Through his blurry vision he managed to take out his cell phone, and then as it went totally black he utilized the resources of his memory to punch out the required number to reach Samuel. Normally he would hate asking for help, but his car was totaled, and he was legally blind. He thought that might constitute the need. Hopefully, Samuel would be availlable - otherwise he would have to call for other backup, and he didn't trust complete strangers all that easily, ever since the one time Deirdre had dressed up as an AGSA operative.

This has not been my day.

Deirdre: ~Slums, Misdred Street, Outside of Warehouse~

From some distance away, she was pretty sure she could make out Korin and - another woman? Completely confused as to why this was rating in her psychic meter as a threat, she increased her pace. She was still pretty far away however, and only small snatches of conversation floated to her on the breeze.

Then she stopped, as something spiked harshly in the back of her head again. Man, this was unusual. Months could go by without it, and yet she'd received two visions in one day. Cradling her forehead, she scowled against the slight pain.

Sazuko is...dead? My...god...

As she tried to cope with this new information, her eyes widened as she saw three fellows, one with a peculiar glint by his side, stalk closer to the two conversing women. So that would be the threat.

"Korin!" called Deirdre, pointing in their direction. She didn't want them to have the element of surprise.

((We likesssss it))

Luca: ~Rennard Apartment Complex~

"Now look here. Is he gonna give me a sermon? The chances of you having hit her are pretty low, don't you think? Man he IS gonna give me a sermon! And I'm not trying to arrest any one that's quite the enigma you are. Well that was a nice way of saying I'm messed up. I might ask you how you got tangled in this mess, though, and that's the sort of questions I want answers to when I get back. Make more sense now?"

More sense where what now? Oh I'm sorry...I was thinking about peanut butter sandwiches...

"Fine fine. Check her pulse. Check her breathing. We've been standing out here for so long I can only assume Rigor Mortis already set in. Have you ever seen a young beautiful woman die officer?"

My thoughts raced back to the one only person I had loved...

Luca's tone suddenly changed

"Go ahead. Call for help too. No use having her die like that. I'll be inside. Knock when you come back. You like tea? I can make some tea...."

Duncan: ~Some...alley...currently wishing he had a minigun~

"Before we begin, understand this - had I wanted to, I could've shot you dead as you ran. But I didn't. So do NOT think even for a SECOND that it is _you_ with the upper hand. Got that, human?"

Ok so at least this guy thinks I did it cause I had a plan. Wonder if I can work with that to increase my opportunities of survival.

"Now then... even a child could tell this was either a trap, or you have some other reason for luring me here. So, speak up. I told you before, I don't have all day..."

"Feel free to cut off your binds. Just don't expect me to help in anyway..."

I reached for the knife. But my hands were busy trying to fiddle with the locator device in my back pocket...with some luck someone at FM might see the signal and come after me

God how I HOPE it's that beefcake Thessaly guy! I could really use his help right now...even if I still dislike Celestials in the first place...

"Listen kid." I was beginning to think he hadn't noticed my BIG FREAKING FM seal on the side of my coat...I was wondering why the hell I decided to wear the organization's standard issue coat today...Kindda defeats the purpose of not trying to get attention. "You seem like a resourceful young person. How about I answer your questions and in exchange you come back with me to wherever the hell I came from. And you listen to what I have to say."

I wasn't about to "exchange" my answers for my life. If Thessaly saw the signal then I didn't have much to worry about on that department. If he didn't...well...if this guy wants to kill me he'll do it wether I answer his questions or not...

"Alright Switchblade, can I call you Switchblade? I'm FM", I said while raking at my bondings with the knife "We could use a guy like you." Hell yes I was buying some time.

Parafli ~In alley, with Duncan~

Parafli had noticed the FM symbol. He had seen it after throwing him against the wall, hence why the man was still alive. He hunted down AGSA or Chrest members - he had no issue whatsoever with Isis OR FM. They hadn't caused him any hardships, so he didn't see why he should cause THEM any hardships.

Laughing at the name he gave him, he shook his head to show he didn't mind the name. Besides, it wasn't like he was about to give out his real name, especcially to someone who might end up hunting him down in the long run.

"Use a guy like me, eh?"

Pacing back and forth infront of Duncan, he didn't take his eyes off him for even a second. Parafli's movements resembled that of a tiger, circling it's prey before the final pounce.

"Use me for what, exactly?"

My right, and its unconditional
I can only, be as real as i can
The disadvantage is
I never knew the plan..."
- Slipknot, Pulse of The Maggots

Thessaly
Moving towards the scene...

The sirens screaming from the ceiling of police and emergency crews were quite audible they echoed through out the streets. The sounds growing every second, obviously moving towards the scene of two car crashes. One car crash would usually be an accident, but the measure of danger changes when there are two or more cars crashing in the same street. The other two events earlier, homicide and grand theft auto, raised the bar even more. Anyone could put the two events together, even the cops.

Like most companies and groups tied in anyway to the government, they were under the control of the elite. The police were no exception, they work for the people but were directed by the blue bloods. The navy blue coated hounds were loyal and bound by the meager salaries they receive for the risks they take. It was all about the retirement benefits. Unfortunately, not many actually live or serve the government long enough to get the full benefits. Cops are people too. They were mostly the little people.

Thessaly was a giant among them. He was happily riding behind the steam powered fire truck as it zipped through the streets along with the ambulance and police cars. It's sirens were powered by the steam valves found around its brass engine, and as well as an electric component which was ran by the heat the engine created. Such were the wonders of the city, using its scarce resources into a variety of ways.

He was a renaissance man, and one of his many skills was as an orator. His way with the tongue and his natural charisma allowed him to convince them to take him with them as they moved towards the crash. Being a volunteer fireman also helped. He'd see these guys atleast once a month while they trained, and some a bit more while they discuss sports and at times, politics. He was also part cop, and knew that an FM agent was a part of all this commotion. It was going to be an interesting day, its not everday that things like this happens.

At any event, he would be around such a gathering of disaster anyway. At least as a muscle commisioned to move the evidence or the sanitation engineer responsible for cleaning it all up.

Duncan: ~Same alley...wishing Thessaly would hurry up with the minigun~

"Use a guy like me, eh?"

"Use me for what, exactly?"

Just as long as he's not cracking his knuckles...

The way he walked around me...seemed as if he was dancing...it was...distracting to say the least...the kid looked like he was about ready to snap

And I looked like I was about ready to be snapped.

Damn celestials...

"Oh you haven't heard of us?", I figured I'd toy with him some too. If he didn't know what I could use him for, then he didn't know what FM stood for...still...maybe it was just a polite way of saying "I'm in...take me to your leader"

...

...speaking of which...where is that damn "X"...he should have been here by now...

So I guess NOW is a good time to start to get worried...aaaaaand to hide this convenient switchblade under my sleeve

"Listen. You've got style. The reckless kind. It'll get you killed one day and you know it. I know people." I was trying to see if his eyes reported any sign of this guy actually digesting what I was saying...he seemed to be enthralled with the walking thing..."These people...they need that kind of style.", I paused. Either the guy was extremely good at faking interest...or I was about to become a statistic..."Let go your gun kid. Help me up. I'll help you not hesitate in firing it next time."

Parafli ~Still the same damn alley... these map pointers get kinda pointless after a while, no?~

"Hesitate to fire the gun?"

He stared at him for a while, before almost doubling over from laughter. Shaking his head, he pulled himself up again.

"You don't get it, do you?"

Sighing, he rolled his eyes and looked towards the heavens. The sirens were getting closer with each passing second.

"Of course you don't get it... over the years, humans have forgotten that the word 'honour' even exists, let alone know what it means. Besides, where would the fun be in shooting a bound man in the back?"

Shrugging, he turned away from him and glanced at the entrance. 2 cop cars had stopped at the entrance, and they seemed to be debating with each other who would go in first.

Better wrap this up, before the idiot patrol catches on...

"I'm well aware what your foundation does, thanks. I was just curious as to what you were thinking of using me for. Now, after hearing what you have to say... I've been taken advantage of one too many times in my life, it won't happen again. Don't worry, I won't kill you. AGSA and Chrest are my targets, no one else. You can keep the switch blade, I'm gonna leave before you little friends work up the courage to come after me."

He knew they would come in at any second. So, he fired a shot at the cop car window. No one was in the car, and the exploding glass wouldn't hit anyone. But the effect was there. If the cops had finally decided on heading inside, they'd certainly be rethinking their position if they thought he was serious.

"Such a simple breed, humans..."

Laughing, he pocketed the gun and took a step away from him. But he stopped again and looked at Duncan over his shoulder.

"Oh. And the name's Parafli. Parafli Zax. I realize you don't really care, but I think it'll be more of an assest to the cops... and more entertainment for me if you have my name. Then they can actually have something to go on and won't just be randomly bumping into my anymore by sheer luck."

It was obvious he was trying to prove a point. This alone would prove if the cops actually knew what they were doing, or if they were just the bumbling bafoons Parafli assumed they were.

Turning towards Duncan, he spread his arms wide and grinned.

"Take a good look, mate. You'll need to remember this for when they ask you to describe your attacker. Got it? Good. See ya around, tough guy."

As ignorant to the things around him that Duncan obviously was, Parafli had to admit - the guy was brave. Walking off again, he blasted the wind energy into the ground and propelled himself into the air, and onto the roof tops. Bolting across, he began using his power to fire himself from roof to roof, moving swiftly away from the crime scene.

[[I'll be more than happy to play the three NPC's. x3 Anyone can steal them from me if you'd like.
*snatches them and runs off* Must do a quick post between classes. xD lol]]

"What's the matter? Is this your house? I didn't mean to--"
"Korin!" Yet another lady shouted, from another direction.
Too many people, my eyes darted, too many people.
I could feel my breathing become uneven; no, no, no, I have to leave too.
They'd be fine on their own, they will, they will, just go, go.
About to high tail and run it, I was grabbed by the arm by the cockiest one that had already slinked his way to us. A clever hand was placed on the small of my back, though not a hand, but the blade I had seen earlier. And not my back either, but my wings, which twitched lightly at the intrusion.
He leaned in too close for comfort, and snarled in my ears. "You brought her here? We don't want that kind anywhere near here."
The smell of dead flesh from his mouth drifted towards my nose, I cringed-- no brushing?
"She's lost, I'm just telling her where to leave."
It was then that I felt it, the broken ring finger.
I wasn't sure why I hadn't notice it before, perhaps it was because he had tightened his grip on my arm.
Only one person had I never healed correctly, it was a man who had broken his finger. It was mild, but I was careless, and it never set properly.
"Your ring finger..." I mumbled. "How is it?"
The man's grip quickly loosened, and the pinching of the knife on my feathery hump subsided. "... Jove's hag?"
"I'm sorry, that I didn't make it straight again."
His eyes grew wide and he took a step back.
"I'm sorry. I didn't-- I mean... I--"
Scrambling away he left swiftly in guilt, but his companions did not follow. They unfortunately advanced from across the street.
I looked back to the lady I had originally started off with. "Leave, they don't want you here." I sighed. "Please, don't start anything."

Korin ~Slums, Misdred Street, Outside of Warehouse~

"Korin!"

Korin spun around, looking for the origin of the voice she knew to be Deirdre's.
As her back was turned, the first thug came up to the Girl and Korin didn't notice until she heard there hushed words. Korin's head spun. Who...!? Where did he come from!?
She was unaware of the knife planted in the girls back and for now, she only watched, preparing herself for any attack she might need to make.
The girl looked at the man, and asked him something. The man looked at her and walked away quickly, drunkenly.
Korin rushed to the girl. "What was that!? Do you need help? Was he going to hurt you!?"

"Leave, they don't want you here." The girl said. "Please, don't start anything."

Korin flushed, and then burned. She had already been tempermental, but her walk had cooled it, and this little spectacle had distracted her from it. But now she began to grow angry once again, feeling she had been offended. "What!?" she growled, apprehensively. "I have just as much right to be here as them." Her eyes suddenly saddened, remembering her childhood briefly. She brushed it off and glared in their direction. "If they want to say something to me, let them. They have no idea what I--" she noticed the girl, watching her, confused and also apprehensive. Korin stopped. "...nothing. Nevermind, nothing..." she muttered, her small face turned towards the ground.

[[It's all right hun. x3 Go to bed, and post in the morning! *hands her pillow* ]]

"What!?" The woman growled, and I couldn't help but flinch. "I have just as much right to be here as them."
I recoiled and shoved my hands back into their pockets, I continued to count my supplies. Again. You really shouldn't be here Sal.
"If they want to say something to me, let them. They have no idea what I--" I winced when I felt the weight of the eyes from the woman rest on me. "...nothing. Nevermind, nothing..."
I counted them again, just enough. Maybe too much. You're a horrible person Sal, for taking those things. They're not your's.
"Nothing? Nevermind? I repeated her. "Well, then I... nothing, nevermind too." I pointed down a familiar street. "If you and your friend sprint, you can make it."
I did just that, running down the street, hopping they'd follow, and wouldn't be left pray for the thugs.

Duncan: ~Same alley...yeah they do, but it's fun writing random stuff in em anyways...~

Oh great. Wind celestials.

Parafli Zax. If I wasn't this shook up I'd try to remember if I've heard that name before.

I furiously pounded on the locator's button[/ii]

Cops. I'm hurt. Help's not anywhere to be seen. Guess Command doesn't really intend to send anyone.

I am, after all, only human

Call it adrenaline or survival instinct. Not sure. But in a flash I decided to go with what my gut suggested.

"Quick! He's getting away!", I wasn't about to say the dude was a Celestial, cause well, cops are trained not to believe there are any....or at least not as far as I knew. With some luck, these guys wouldn't even think twice about running after the guy, even if they had seen him jump to the roof.

I wasn't concerned with Parafli. He'd be just fine blasting his way from rooftop to rooftop. I was more concerned on not benig taken in for interrogation...cops don't like FM guys and hell I still had my jacket on.

Hmmm...Switchblade didn't leave a card...wonder how I can contact him again...it's not like he can find the FM headquarters through the Yellow Pages either....

"Goddamit! Get after him! He's getting away!"

((Right...so who's NPC'ing the cops?))
