Joker said, in a strangely sincere tone, "Good." Maybe Gossamer wouldn't notice it, as they'd just met, but anyone who KNEW him would've done a double-take. For a moment, he thought about why she didn't do anything, if she was magic... Ah, that's right, concentration required for magic to work, and the only reason HE hadn't been affected was because he knew what to expect in anti-symbiote tactics, and had prepared accordingly. That, plus the fact that he knew Batman's usual M.O., which was stealth, usually doing as much as possible from the shadows until it becomes more fortuituos to go hand-to-hand, which he would do as quickly and quietly as possible, with as much brute non-lethal force as possible in order to achieve a quick end to the fight, without killing. He kneeled down next to Gossamer, and put his hand on her shoulder. "Goss, much to my dismay, the Bat's flown the coop, so you can calm down now. I might have a couple painkillers in this belt..." He checked in the Anti-Batman Belt, which was running low on supplies (How DID Batsy keep so much crap in that damn thing, anyways?), and found two asprin.

Batman moved quickly through the shadows, making his way toward a seemingly ordinary old dumpster; then he pressed a button on his belt, and the smelly, clunky thing was lifted smoothly away, revealing a door. He quickly led Sapphire inside and down a set of steps, and the panel hummed shut behind them. A second later, the lights came on. The two of the appeared to be in a sort of bunker, which was well stocked with a lab, a computer, food, and medical supplies. It wasn't the Batcave, of course; Batman had determined that returning there would be unwise, especially with a magic user--now a very angry magic user-- on his tail. Sometimes they could track you, and he didn't want to take that chance.
"Hwash 'oin om?" asked a voice behind the Joker. Deadpool had finally made his triumphant return, his mouth full of cheesy goodness. A second later, he swallowed, and then whistled. "Damn. Someone knows a thing or two about explosives. We should trade secrets. My secret's called 'lots and lots of C4,'" he added immediately. Then he blinked. "What happened to her?"

Sapphire glanced around as they entered the room. "Impressive..." she mumbled to heself. With the way they got in, it might take Blackstone a while to find her. Gossamer she wasn't sure about. Either way she was safe for the moment. She raised her hand and formed some of her sapphire strands above her hand just to test her powers. Everything seemed alright again. Best to just keep her strands out just to make sure she knew when Blackstone got close. She glanced at her bandaged arm a moment, then looked back up at the man in the dark costume. "Thanks..." she said, almost embarassed.
EDIT:
Blackstone soon woke up and sat himself up, pieces of debree rolling off of him from a nearby explosion. Black tendrills angrily smacked at the chunks of brick around him. His fingers dug into the ground under him and he growled angrily as he painfully forced himself to his feet. Dark black and red eyes searched the buildings around him. Somebody....was going to pay for this...

Batman was currently in the process of bandaging his own recently injured arm. At her words, he half-glanced over his shoulder at her, then returned to his task. "Don't mention it." His mind was already on the next step of his plan. The Joker, much as he hated to admit it, had to be dealt with; he would have had both Blackstone and Gossamer out for the count if it hadn't been for him. Once again, underestimating the clown led to bad places. Perhaps he could come up with something to have Joker show up on his terms... and without Gossamer.

Gossamer glanced over when she felt a hand on her shoulder, then up at his face. Hated to say it but he was right. Nothing she could do if the guy wasn't around...and there was no point in stewing over it if she was having a time keeping her 'others' from comming out. She glanced over at the asprin Joker had pulled from his belt, and her mouth twitched into what may have been a small smile. "Thanks" she said as she moved her hand up to take them. Guy was definately getting points at least. She looked over at Deadpool and raised an eyebrow slightly. He actually found something to eat...with everything going on? "Migraine." she replied simply. She half wanted to tell him off for his little dissapearing act, but that would get her heated again and Jade would probably slip out. She noticed some movement and glanced over towards Blackstone. "Looks like the suit's awake again.". //I has finded a computer with internet...for a few minutes... crying //

Joker looked at Deadpool with something that looked remarkably like malice in his eyes, probably because it was malice. "Smooth move, there, Deadbrains! Gossamer gets incapacitated, the symbiote that the suit's wearing gets HIM knocked the #@!% out, I nearly get my foot blown off, Batsy escaped with whoever it was that was skulking off in the alleyway, all because YOU were off on some damn EASTER CHEESE PUFF HUNT!!!" Joker drew out a revolver and stepped between Deadpool and Gossamer. "That's TWO missions you've failed, in two different sub-forums. One of them, you'd have gotten PAID FOR, and it takes a pretty bad mercenary to call himself the best, and then give up on paying jobs. It takes an even WORSE one to mess up for that same person AGAIN. Deadshot would eat you alive, and he isn't even the best in my Universe. Maybe you should consider a new occupation. Like an author. Or a TV show host. Or a comic book writer. Despite what Weapon X did to you, mercenary work just doesn't seem to be your thing anymore. Maybe you lost your edge. Maybe you should quit. Maybe THAT'S why you keep getting screwed out of your money. Not because you're insane, but because you're WASHED UP. I was depending on you, and you failed. So I had to improvise. I made up a new plan as I went along. On my own, I nearly HAD THEM. If you had been there, Batman would be at our mercy. But you FAILED. That Pool-O-Vision of yours is finally getting in the way of you completeing paying jobs. The little boxes aren't keeping you on track anymore, neither the yellow ones NOR the white ones. Maybe you're useless for ANYTHING now. Just like you were useless for Copycat when she died that one time. Maybe THAT'S why she didn't stay with you. Maybe THAT'S why Syrin never loved you like you did her. You're USELESS."

Deadpool was silent for a second or two, and then he spoke slowly. His tone was still cheerful as ever, but there was now an extremely dark, ugly undertone to it. "So let me see if I've got this straight. You think that because I laughed at a few of your tacky little jokes that I honestly give a damn what you think, don't you? Oh, I see. That clears things up a bit." He seemed completely unconcerned about the gun pointed at him... probably because he was. "Don't get me wrong; you were interesting to be around, and your... former?... girlfriend was pretty cute. That aside, if you want to kill Batman, kill him. Don't blame it on the crazy person that you knowingly hired. Oh... Wait... you can't, can you! How many years in the comics? How many shots have you had? Can you even count them anymore? You bag a few Robins--pretty lame consolation prizes if you ask me-- and pray that your readership doesn't get bored with acid spitting boutonnieres. All over one man. One. If we're talking about useless, I'd say I'm in pretty good company, wouldn't you?" Lazily, he pulled out one of his guns and started spinning it, Western style. "Oh, and one more thing; you might want to do your damn homework. The Skrull invasion and my newest interlude with the Thunderbolts are nice, recent examples of my work, but--on second thought--Hell! You're the Joker! Don't worry about it. Come on and try to kill me for indirectly hurting your lady love. I'm underestimating you, right? That's how this works. I'm useless, and you're the murderer that murderers are scared of. Teach me a lesson, bestest buddy ol' pal. "

Blackstone glanced behind him as he heard an argument erupt. The stared at the small group a moment, but turned away. He doubted they were the ones behind what had happened, so they were of no interest to him at the moment. Every bit of him wanted to find the one who made the noise, and tear them apart layer by layer.

((It's fine. Batman's going to have some questions for her, anyway.))
When Batman was finished with his arm, he turned back to the girl. Her arm appeared to be completely healed, which immediately sent his mind into overdrive. It hadn't been healing when she'd been close to those other two... "What do you know about Blackstone and Gossamer?" he asked in a low growl.

Sapphire sighed slightly, looking down at the small blue strands she kept hovering above her hand. "Gossamer is half sorceress, half psycho. She knows a wide range of spells, and when she decides she doesn't like someone she'll usually use them to practice on. (Namely me...)" she replied, then moved to sit on the wall next to her. "Blackstone is from my world, and I'm actually surprised to see him here. He has his own range of powers, though he doens't look like he does. Unless you get in his way or cross him, he usually doensn't bother much with anyone. If you do, well he's very determined about getting what he wants." she continued, trailing off a bit. "He's was probably, no, was the reason I couldn't use any of my powers before. One of the nice little powers he aquired."

Batman thought about this quickly, and then asked, "Could you beat Gossamer on your own?" If she could, then Joker probably wouldn't be a problem either; the main problem with him was that he knew Batman. Tricks, fighting style, tech... The Joker didn't know Sapphire, though, and as much as he wanted to take the clown down himself, he wanted this over with more. It was a miracle that an innocent bystander hadn't been hurt already.

Sapphire paused a moment and thought. "Not quickly, but yes. I can usually dodge most of her attacks. I'ts knocking her out that's the hard part. She's recently found this annoying little phasing ability." she replied. Then again with Blackstone here, it might be impossible to take her on. If she could keep Gossamer away from him, and keep off his radar, then she should be fine. Heck, keeping Gossamer occupied on her wouldn't be much to do. Just run her mouth a bit and Gossamer wouldn't pay attention to anyone else.

Batman dismissed the phasing bit as unimportant; he could always give Sapphire something to make concentration more difficult for the sorceress. "Do you know what Blackstone's range is? How close do you have to be before you loose your powers?"

"Usually the same room or within a couple of yards. But if he's...in a bad mood then his power increases. Then if I can see him or if he see's me, I'm too close." she replied. In that case he would usually get to her fast enough that she couldn't get away.

After another second or two, he said, "Alright. If you can deal with Gossamer and the man she has with her, I'll deal with Blackstone. What are his powers, aside from canceling yours?"
