Made an awesome sammich out of hummus, sprouts, tomato, and feta cheese today. I'll give you all my recipe for hummus. I don't usually use recipes, as you all probably know, cause I eyeballed this whole thing, but this is a rough estimate since this recipe wasn't complicated, it's pretty easy to remember. I make my hummus in the traditional Lebanese style.
1 can garbanzo beans/chickpeas, drained 3 cloves fresh garlic (or 2 if you like it less spicy) 1 fairly large fresh basil leaf Small handful of fresh parsley, plus extra for garnish juice of 1 whole lemon and zest if desired 1/4 cup olive oil 1 1/2 tablespoons tahini (I can never find this in billings, Montana so I use toasted sesame oil instead)
Stick all this in a blender and let it rip.

I don't much like cooking untill th fall comes around. It very hot where i live. Hot hot and muggy all the time and it makes cooking nearly unbearable.
Although once its fall i stat to the cooking cause fall makes me happy. I don't cook much really my main dishes are lasagna, spaghetti casserole (lasagna with angle hair pasta instead of lasagna noodles,), Cheesy rice and kielbasa, pot roast (ade in a crock pot),and chili.
My favorite thing to cook would be the chili I love making an eating chili so much
My fav food would be pie. its sad that i can't cook pastries or sweets to save my life. Then again that could be a good thing seeing as how i have blood sugar problems and eating sweets makes me pass out.
i think my comfort food would be spicy tuna maki *wiggle*
on a side note i eat some very odd things. Things that make e go..why do eat this? and make people look at m very oddly
I love soggy stuff. Like peanut butter and jelly sandwiches drenched in strawberry soda. tis true and i dip my oreo's in soda too
i have also been known to eat butter and cabbage sandwiches, peanut butter and mayo sandwiches, mixed bowls (this is where i take all the left overs in the fridge and put them in one bowl and eat it)
This odd habit could be from when i was little i often went without food or had to scrounge if i wanted to eat. I love food so much and thankfully now i can eat and eat and never go without *wiggle*
for some reason I HATE sweetened meat. like honey ham/turkey. ick! I also can't take sweet potato's if they have marshmallows in um. gotta eat up with salt and pepper yum! I can't stand breackfast food at all, well... excpt for bacon of course ;p

For the cupcakes, do you take the yolk out of the eggs? I've never managed to make eggs fluffy when they still had the yolk in them.
