Lily sighed, "Just don't bother about it... I just thought you had changed like I did..." She dove into the water and started to swim around. She came back to the surface and stood up. She was wearing her bikini, so her new body coudl be seen.

Al blinked at her new body for a second but shook his head and focused on her eyes. "Change? What are you talking about? What kind of change?"

Lily hid her body again under the water once again and sighed, "Never mind... I'm just rambling now... don't worry about it..."

Al looked down. "Aw c'mon Lily now you're just making me feel bad. What are you talking about. Personally I didn't know I was supposed to change myself over the last year."

Lily smirked and moved closer to him. She then splashed him with water, "You were supposed to lighten up while I was gone and let others help and not be such a loner... you were supposed to grow up, but since that did not happen, I'm okay anyway..."

Al laughed. "Okay let me get this straight. You think that after an entire year of not seeing me that I haven't made a few new friends or lightened up? But of course you're the all-knowing Lily. So of course you can figure me out in under 3 minutes." He said. "So how about you? How have you changed this past year hm?" He started floating on his back.

Lily closed her eyes as she started to think of Chris... She bit her lip and opened her eyes again. A tear slipped down her face, "Well... it has been a year since the day..."

Jack wiped the tear from Lily's face. "Lily..." He said sensitively. He couldn't get any more words out. He wasn't sure what happened over the year but decided not to dig any further.

Lily closed her eyes and walked away. She had her back to him as she looked up at the sky, "He's gone Al... And he's never coming back..." She hugged herself and fell to her knees. She stared at the water.

"He's in a better place now." Al said. "I'm sure he's looking down with a smiling face. But he doesn't wan to see you cry and neither do I." He gave Lily a warm hug from behind.

Lily felt the warmth of Al's body against her own and felt something in her body that she had not felt since she was dating Chris. She bit her lip and sighed. She felt awful for feeling that when it was not Chris. She just wanted to tell Al everything about where she had been this past year and why, but she couldn't... "I should go..." She started to walk off.

Al put his hand on her shoulder. "No...you should stay. It's the beginning of summer. Let's try to forget this and have some fun okay." He smiled lightly.
