Norijitsu Brennan took out 2 battle knives and stabbed one of them into the wall high above him. He gripped it and lifted himself up. He stcuk his second one above him and hefted himself up. He continued to do this and climbed 5 feet up the steel wall. "Come on guys! Lets get a move on!" He yelled down to his crew. Looking up at him, I leap onto the walls, my feet clanking against the steel plating, and the metalic arm punching into the metal as well. I scale the wall like a spider, my weapon cluched in my other arm, the barrols hanging against my back. ((I noticed that your post of the weaponry has the LAAG Chaingun (Detached) is for Spartans only. Yet as I understand it, I have one of those as my personaly weapon. Please tell em if this is a mistake please.))

In the distance, another Dropship could be seen unloading a Platoon of huge bluish rocks, Hunters.
((Lets see if you can get out of a Platoon of Hunters! AHAHAHA! xp ))

After that last transmission from the Captain, he quickly changed to defensive tactics. He ordered his Snipers to remain on the hill, and to great the Covenant when they are in range. He had his Marines set up their two M247 near the entrance, so they'd have a surprise waiting for the Covies when they arrive. He had other marines stack up some bodies at the entrance, using them as cover. He didn't really care about 'respect for the dead' at the time, and would gladly use the corpses for shields. Their only problem was a simple one: The entrance had three openings. It was in the shape of a 'T', and they covered two sides with the anti-personnel turrets. He had the Marine with the Rocket Launcher cover the middle entrance, hoping to keep the Covenant out. At the end of this passage there was a slope into a structure below. At the bottom of the slope he had his Marines store extra ammo and equipment. He had the rest of his Marines take cover wherever they could with their weapons aimed at the entrance. They couldn't open fire, however, until the Helljumper with the Launcher had to move out of the way and reload. He walked up to the middle entrance and gazed outside, waiting for the enemy to show themselves.

He grumbled quietly to himself as he heard that last transmission, thinking that his luck had definitely run out. He ordered his men to open fire the second the enemy came within range, and had his snipers do the same. The second he gave this order, he heard several rifle reports echo from outside. His snipers could see the enemy, and were already doing what they could. His speakers squeeled with static before a Marines voice broke through. "Sir! You've got six Hunters heading right for you. We can't take them down! After we got the first two, the rest are overlapping their big shields. We can't get a clear shot! Sorry, Sir, but we can't help anymore". He sighed as he heard the report, before responding, "Thanks for the help, Marine. If you can get a shot or two in, go ahead and take it." He clicked the COM off and ordered the Marine with a Rocket Launcher to trade weapons with him. He took the heavy weapon from him and the one spare pack of Rockets they had. They'd only have to deal with two Hunters....that is, if all of the rockets hit their targets. He took up his place by the middle entrance, aimed the tube down at where the Hunters would show themselves, and waited for them to appear.

The huge monsterous Hunters emurged at full charge from the Forest, their sheilds infront of them, but there were only 4 of them.
All fo the sudden, 2 huge green fireballs erupted from the forest, crashing into the butte, only a few meeter's away from where Logan was standing.

The ground shuddered as both of their Anti-Personnel Turrets pivoted and fired, one firing into the forest, shredding trees and vines. The other opened up on the four Hunters attacking from the east, easily tearing through the first one, which hadn't brought it's shield fully into play yet. The one right behind it howled with rage, raised it's weapon, and turned the area around it a sickly green as the powerful weapon began charging. Logan quickly took aim, pulled the trigger, and felt the tube jump as a rocket lanced out straight towards the behemoth. The rocket impacted on the creatures head and easily blew it off, causing the corpse to tople over backwards against his remaining comrades. The SPARTAN quickly fired the other rocket into the mass of armor and slid behind the metal entrance to take cover while he reloaded. The turret firing into the west didn't have a clear target, and was simply firing into the forest. He heard a strange howl, either from rage or agony, before he looked to see one Hunter come charging from the forest, undamaged. He had most likely just lost his companion and was coming to get revenge. He raised his launcher up to take it down, but knew it was too close. He quickly stood, moved away from the entrance, and started back-pedalling away from the monster, trying to get more space between them so he could take it down. Behind him, however, the remaining two Hunters from the east had moved the giant corpse from their view and were waiting for the SPARTAN to come to them. In one last desperate attempt to take this one Hunter down, he jumped up and back before pulling the trigger, the tube jumping once more as the high energy projectile rocketed towards its target. The Hunter didn't have any time to dodge, and was quickly blown to pieces when it impacted on its chest-plate. The human, however, was in the air, jumping towards two murderous creatures. The first of the two didn't fire his Plasma Cannon, which the SPARTAN silently thanked him for. Instead, he lifted up his huge shield-arm as the human was about to land. Logan suddenly felt a wave of pressure against his back before being flung ten meters away from the monsters. His shield had taken most of the blow, but it was drained to zero as he skidded along the metal before coming to a stop not far from the entrance into their temporary base. The Helljumper at the AP Turret now had a clear field of fire without his CO blocking the way, and quickly opened fire. The Hunter that had hit the SPARTAN was in the process of bringing his shield down when the 30mm projectiles tore into the orange flesh of the creatures stomach. The Hunter fell forward, alowing the Hunter behind it, who had been charging his Plasma Cannon, to fire. Logan, was still attempting to clear his vision of black dots when the plasma bolt lanced out over his head and smashed into the ODST at the AP Turret. The Hunter had actually missed the Turret itself, and the human had taken the entire attack. The Marine screamed as the super-heated plasma melted through flesh and bone, before the force of the blow had pushed him into the wall, effectively silencing him. The SPARTAN forced himself to get up, knowing he had to attack now before the weapon could be recharged, and turned to target the beast. He had one rocket left, which was soon fired at the Hunter as it tried to recharge its Plasma Cannon. The rocket impacted on the Hunter's shield arm, which didn't save it from the explosion. He let the smoldering launcher slip from his hands, and stood as straight as he could, still trying to take a deep breath. He didn't want to show his pain around the others, and quickly retreated back to the safety of Alpha Base. There were two Marines checking the only other wounded human, and looked to him before shaking their heads. He quickly marked him, and the Helljumper who had been killed when they took this butte, as KIA. He would accept this victory for now, and thought that things would be quiet for a while.

Nice fight guys, Here are the backups!
A Pelican drifted down towards the grass and hovered only a few inches off the ground. 12 ODST's filled out of the Pelican and made there way to the SPARTAN. One of the ODST's saluted, "Sir, ODST team 3 Reporting as requested!"
The Pelican rose from its hovering position and took flight. It flew off for about a minute and circled back around. I thought you guys might want to put some edge onto this battle. Here's the Armory!
Canisters shot down from the sky like angry thunderbolts. A small tremor erupted when each one struck. When they were positioned in the ground, their small deteinator charges went off and blew open the front panels, reveling an assortment of weapons.
[3 Sniper Rifles, 6 MA6B's (New Rifles), 2 Rocket Launchers, 4 HE standard issue pistols, 8 M7 SMG's, and 2 Med-Packs.]
One Canister was large in particular, and was the last one to land. Its explosive charges blasted off the front panel.
[One M41 LAAG Warthog Chain Gun (Detatched)]
Logan, this it the Captain, you will get more support now that our escort ship, the TITAN has arrived. I want you to proceed into the structure and do what you SPARTAN's always do, Beat the s**t outta things. Once your out, send a message to ALpha team, I'm sending them to secure the outside of the Butte. Those are your orders Logan. Oh and by the way, I hope you like the Chain Gun I sent you. Good luck son, Captain out.

He looked over to Kristi as the transmission ended. "Well, should we be at it cheif. Its long hike with most likely danger between" he checked his ammo and started to follow Kristi as they started to make their way to the checkpoint. He kept a very close watch on their surrondings as theyw ent threy the forest. There wasn't much to look at, just some plants and trees. They continued till they were about one mile from their checkpoint and heard a rustle in some leaves. He thought it was a bird till he rememberd they were on a artifical planet. He turned and seen a shimer and yelled out "Contact!" a elite charged out and he opened fire from his battle rifle running backwords at the same time. His clip was 3/4 empty when he heard the elite roar and fall. He noticed a grunt come running at him and tryed to hit him with a plasma shot, but he dodge, and shot two burst into its head and watched it drop dead. He droped his clip and could only wounder how many more there was. There was a click as his freash magizine sliped into place, but he would show them hell.
