She turned back to the flowers and stared. Petals, stem, other flower things but no voice. Starting to feel like an idiot staring at a plant she glanced at Antirr. Turning her gaze back to the flowers she closed her eyes and took a deep breath. A snippet of a memory came to her. “All living things have a voice, all you have to do is listen.” Listen, how easy that was to say but to do, not so much. Slowly opening her eyes she breathed out. The flowers seemed to dance.

Antirr moved over to her. "Your thinking to much. Start over." He said, speaking softly so as not to disturb his mother. "Ignore her, she gets to into it. Close your eyes and empty your mind again." He instructed. "Can't even follow simple directions." He joked. He could barely do it himself. "Empty everything, and lock everything away. Just the happiness, like my mom said. And then...try again." He stood beside her, watching the flowers himself. While he couldn't hear them, per say, he could read them, in a way. "I'd hurry up before they decide they don't want to talk to you." He smirked.

“Funny,” she hissed at him. Alright one more time, clear your mind and let only happiness in. She once again closed her eyes and took a deep breath. Opening them as she breathed out she looked at the flowers. Laughter, she turned to Antirr with a glare then blinked. Unless he was doing it under his breath, it didn’t appear that he was laughing. “Huh?” she said confused.

"Hear something?" Antirr questioned. A smile was tentatively tugging at his lips. Perhaps she could do it. He held bad the urge to laugh at her confused face. Priceless. He'd have to bring it up later. "You better not break concentration or else you'll lose it." He advised. How many times did he, as an eager colt, fail simply because he got excited when he heard something? He couldn't count. his gaze traveled to his mother, who was now quietly picking and pruning flowers, still in a daze. He shook his head. "One of these days" he muttered under his breath.

Keeping her mind clear Undine moved closer to the flowers still hearing laughter. Nose inches away she sneezed. Rearing back she coughed. “I think that’s enough for today,” she said rubbing at her nose. She looked over to Antirr and followed his gaze to Glow. "She seems so happy."

Antirr nodded. "Yeah. Always been like this..." He said, distant. "can't stand to be upset, or see someone upset." He shook his head. "But this...she's gonna get herself killed one day." He moved to his mother. "Ok mom, time to wake up." He smiled, laughing a bit as she blinked out of her daze.
"Oh my! I'm so sorry. OH! Undine, dear!" She turned to the white and blue mare. "Did you do it? Did you hear them?" She asked softly, eyes full of excitement, face flushed with embarrassment.

Undine glanced at what she believed to be evil flowers. “I think I heard something but I’m not sure if it was the flowers,” she said in reply to Glow’s question. She moved closer and asked softly hoping Antirr wouldn’t overhear, “Is it normal to hear laughter?” She blushed slightly cursing her light coloring.

Antirr snickered but remained quiet. He'd let her think she was being sneaky for now, and bring it back to haunt her later. He turned away, moving to look though his mother's basket.
"Laughter? Well, of course. Though, normal...No, its rare, accually. Flowers don't like to laugh, since it can be taken so many ways. If one laughs you might think its making fun of you! If they laughed for you, they must really like you." Glow nodded, smiling. "They don't laugh for me often. Only if i try to tell a joke" She giggled.

Like, Undine thought in disbelief holding back a sneeze. “Excuse me,” she said before moving over to were Antirr was. “Looking for anything in particular?” she asked softly looking at the many flowers.

Looking up Antirr shook his head. "And why are you over here?" He asked, looking up to his mother who looked slightly confused. "Shouldn't you be perfecting your technique?" What did she want now?

Undine looked up at where the sun was sitting in the sky. “Its getting late, shouldn’t we start to head back?” she asked with a glance over to Glow. Was she planning to stay out here all night? she wondered.

Antirr looked to the sky. "It would be a good idea. Mom, shall we head back?" He looked to the white and purple mare. Normally, he knew, she liked to stay out as late as she could but, well, He didn't want to hear it from Undine. She was sure to worry about her and question him and he was getting tired.
"Hmm?" Glow blinked, looking up. "Oh my, and i promised Lita i'd be back sooner...She's bound to worry. Yes yes. Antirr, be a dear and help me carry the basket." She added a few more flowers to the already full basket.

Undine stuffiered a yawn, it had been a long day and she was getting tired plus she still had to find a safe place to spend the night. She walked slowly towards the exit trying to remember if she had passed any likely places. She paused next to the exit to wait for Antirr and Glow.

Glow moved after Undine. "Its going to be so late. Antirr, dear, you should stay at the teepee tonight. Lita would be so happy to see you...Your father shouldn't be comming so you won't have to speak with him...." She said softly. "Oh, and Undine, dear, your welcome to come as well. Unless you have a home near by...I'd have for you to have to sleep exposed."
Antirr follow behind her carrying the basket. He thought for a moment before nodding. "Yeah, i'll stay. No where else to go tonight." He looked to Undine. "There is plenty of room." He said, shrugging. "If you want to."

Undine shook herself out of the daze she had fallen into. She smiled tiredly at Glow. “That would be wonderful, if your sure it will be no trouble. I‘d hate to be a burden.”
