"What do you mean you don't like fruit anymore?!" he exclaimed as he tried to wipe the tears from his eyes to see, "That's what bothered her most, If you don't like it as much then you'll have more time for her. why not try to get back with her?" He held onto himself to try to stop from shaking, "When did all this happen... Did I miss something when I went on my trip? Were you two fighting when I left?"

"it all happend so quickly" he began, sounding distant "the blood lust was overwhelming i ran off, i didnt want to hurt you or your mother, i ended up bitting that girl downstairs and now i dont like fruit, then i was mad at myself for feeding on someone so i was rejecting the idea, but all i could thing of was Akuma. so i found her and i bit her, and she said our relationship never existed in the first place or something like that, and i blacked out." he sighed "thats all i know, im as lost and helpless as you right now. at least we have each other" he said as he broke into tears again

"But..... I know mom loves you.... She wouldn't have been with you for twenty four years if she didn't." Kaosti looked at his father in a slightly horrified slightly irritated way, "She did so many things for you... She learned to cook, clean, sewed your clothes, protected you... You can't just say she never loved you." He closed his eyes and thought about all the things he had seen, "I think she was jealous..."

Kaosti stared at his father, "Really... Mom.... likes pain.... She probably would have enjoyed being bitten...." he rested his head on his knees and closed his eyes, trying to ignore the throbbing, "Why couldn't you two just communicate...."

Lucid sighed deeply, "well if you havnt noticed, she dreads talking about her feelings and maybe im to stubborn to ask." he closed his eyes as if it would help shut out what he was feeling, he got up and laid on the bed, "dont you worry about me, i will be perfectly fine now that im home. i wont go wondering off anymore."

Asmodeus stood by the door stiffly, his long dark hair draped over a face pale with exhaustion as he watched the scene playing out before him, he couldn't help but feel responsible for whatever was going on, though it seemed the problem had started long before he'd met Akuma. He removed his shoes carefully, trying not to disturb the cut on his side where a piece of the Yggdrasil tree had scraped him when it exploded. Ardina was even worse for the wear, she was sitting on the floor in the entryway, her face black with exhaustion as she cradled Milana's head in her lap, the girl was rubbing her bloody hands together, her sightless eyes squeezed closed in distress.

Lucid looked pleased "that sounds great, but i thought you would want to go adventuring with your mother, i wont be anywhere, Enthelda is my home. this place has treated me well and i should probably make up for lost time with Cortez." Lucid didnt want to keep Kaosti in one place he should be out learning "can you wield that scythe yet?"

"I got to play the roll of Sybil's boyfriend, while we fended off her father from the throne.... we defeated him just yesterday... so after all that... This is a nice kick in the gut." He grumbled as he held onto his stomach, feeling suddenly sick.

Lucid rubbed Kaosti's back "do you want o go down stairs, im sure your food is done. i can smell it." He helped him to his feet. "Akuma probably wants to talk to you too."
