She only waited patiently for his talking to continue onward. Her own mind forming little plans in her head of what might be done. Rin only smiled, surprising a normal one, when she was requested of. "I don't know, I am quite busy.~" Her hands stretched up, placing themselves behind the woman's head as she pretended to think long and hard on this choice. It had been a while since she went out to do anything alone or with another that wasn't completely grail related, and this was Shirou. "But I guess I'll take you up on that little date." The magi chimed in her reply while giving him a small playful wink. Saber would most likely want to patrol tonight to clear her head of these events, which left Rin free to do as she pleased. Why not waste away the night with Emiya~?

He watched her, only too curious and humored by her play on actually thinking about the decision that was left to her to make. His head tilted slightly as he stuffed his hands in his pockets and waited for her to make the decision. Upon hearing her first response, he rolled his eyes and glanced down for the moment, pretending to be slightly crestfallen by that piece of information. For that moment, he began thinking himself. He wondered how his house had looked; it having been so long ago since he had been there. Did Sakura still visit there, he wondered? If not, he could only imagine how dirty his home looked and it made him slightly self-conscious about the idea of spending the night at his home. He was not like Rin; having maids and ‘normal’ servants to take care of her home. He turned his head and smiled, finally hearing her answer. It was a date, now was it? Why that concept felt different to Shirou, he would rather not consider, but he shook his head as she winked at him. Always the tease, Rin was. It was simple to say he did not mind it so much anymore; perhaps, he thought it funny and liked it, but he wouldn’t say such as he laughed slightly. “Good to know, the night won’t be wasted away then.” It was still a while away but it was something to look forward to. What were they to do now, however?

Nice to know that he was playing along for the small ride of fun she was making this to be. Her smile only growing more when seeing and hearing his own laughter. "Don't worry, I'll make sure to keep you up all night long.~" There was still a hint of tease in this, but some seriousness was mixed in as well as she let her hands drop to her hips once more. It was unknown in her mind yet or even in her sentence which part was the serious and what was the joke. Maybe she would do something to her little Emiya, or maybe just led him on with the small fantasy he was most likely going to have from that sentence.
The real question was what she was going to do now. Her eyes moved from him to Saber wouldn't been staring at her for a while now. The knight didn't seem to have any real interest in them at the moment, but more towards the sky that was growing late. "You can leave if you want." Rin told her before the blonde merely nodded and left. Just the two of them now.~

Shirou had should have expected more of her teasing antics to come, but even so he could not help but cease his laughter, almost immediately as he found himself even surprised by Rin’s response. Her smile made him blink precariously before he smiled in return and glanced away from her. It was weird how he almost thought she seemed serious when she said those words. He wasn’t sure what he was supposed to say in return and it seemed that his moment of relapse had resulted in Rin’s attention being averted towards the blonde knight. He had not been expecting her to be allowed to leave; it was simply the two of them now as he watched Saber vanish. Just the two of them now… he had repeated those words to himself as he looked at her and wondered what they were to do now. “Still as much of a teasing girl as always, hm Rin?” He smiled slightly before taking a step towards her and extending his finger to poke her between the eyes. “You should really learn to have that checked; I might eventually get the wrong idea and take advantage of it.” It was a bit simpler to tease her in return; when Saber’s watchful eyes were not upon them. Unusual as it seemed, he found himself rather at ease when he was alone with one or the other… that was actually not sounding very mature of him, though was it?

Someone's brain had gone out to take a little trip it seemed.~ Heh. How easy it was to get Shirou to think such dirty thoughts, or maybe it was just that Rin was good at the way she worded everything about. The woman watched him approach, making no moves to take a step back before wishing she had. A small pout graced the black-haired magi's face when she was poked. She didn't wish to have such a thing happen to her. "And what if I wasn't teasing Shirou~?" Here she could tease him back while purring forth her answer. She leaned a bit towards him, moving closer again before side stepping and walked her way out of the alley. Her hands placed lazily behind her as if to give off an innocent look to her twenty year old self.

To see her facial expressions, Shirou could tell Rin was thinking along the lines of him being a bit on the dirty side. It was not his fault however; it was a side to his nature that she seemed prone to bringing out, he supposed. A tease in his own rights, while around her maybe. His finger had touched her forehead lightly, and he smiled at the small pout that appeared upon her face. She was still such a child in her own right; to think she used to think that way of him, when she was to act this way? His head tilted to the side a bit as he considered that for a moment. She wasn’t being serious in her attempt to ask, so Shirou had no need to give it much thought. “Such words from the one who taught me. You should be quite ashamed, Rin.” He watched her lean towards him before she moved past him without a second thought. A slight sigh escaped him as he placed his hands behind his head and followed the magi out of the alley. For the time being, they were no longer magi it seemed. Just normal people… that concept seemed so odd after these past few years. He wondered what things would be like if not for the Holy Grail War… would Rin have ever spoken to him? Would they be friends? Odd as it seemed… he was happy in a way for this war? Wow, how selfish could he possibly get? He rolled his eyes and walked beside the twenty year old female. “Any place in particular, we’re going?”

"Maybe you see it that way but I don't." She chimed back at him with a small turn of her head as she left the alley. Rin felt like being nice though and waited for Shirou to catch up before continuing to walk down the street. "Isn't the male supposed to be the one to guide the female~?" Of course that was if you were talking along the lines of a date, but she wasn't quite sure if that was what they were on or not. Indeed she had been joking a bit with it, but could it be so hard to ask for such a thing anyway?

“Maybe you’re right… but I only see things this way because you traumatized me with your teasing antics.” Now that he had said it that way, it almost didn’t seem that bad. She was getting to him; all the trouble and suffering she had put him through three years ago, was seemingly coming out as something that was good and acceptable. His smile faded slightly, but not completely as he walked beside her. Was that wrong…? Was it wrong for him to act this way around her? ‘Friends act this way all the time… I should stop overreacting,’ he said to himself. Hearing her speak, once more, Shirou blinked and directed his gaze towards the sky. His decision on where they would be heading, hm? “It’s been a while…would you object to visiting memoirs of our past?” He had been thinking of passing by their old school… it had been the place where things had begun for both it seemed, but it was up to her to oblige to the decision. They had no need to, but it was also along the way to his home.

It had been so long since the woman had gotten to do anything fun like this. Time in London had been devoted to only studying in attempts to rid herself of memories from the past grail war. And so she'd wasted her time away doing just that. Yet even if she could be considered a book worm there many suitors still chased after the young Tohsaka for her three years. It got to the point where she was tempted to use Shirou as a safety net and lie about her relation to him. At least then the males, and even some females would leave her in peace. Still she really didn't seem to have gotten far in her goal. She'd wished to escape the world of the grail, only to get sucked right back in. Well, at least she got to see her dashing safety net again.~
Rin walked on in silence for a bit, only taking in the males words as the side walk she stared at seemed to go on forever in that boring straight line that was much like her life. Her attention was only grabbed when mention of a destination was finally made. Oh. So he had some sort of plans for once~? "No, whisk me away to the land of my past when I was still young my dear Shirou.~" A small touch of tease and sarcasm was laced into the sentence even though it stood true. She wondered then where he'd be taking her. There were many placed they'd gone in her past, practically the whole city. Hopefully it wouldn't be the roof which she'd jumped off with Archer to ditch the male that one time. Hah. Not such a fond memory.

There was a certain air of familiarity as Shirou walked beside Rin; something he was rather unable to pinpoint at the moment. As much as it bothered him to be feeling such an unfamiliar sense within him and about her of all people, he could not say there was any way to actually pinpoint the oddity that was swelling inside him. Knowing Shirou, it was bound to be nothing at all; a simple overreaction as was prone to most things the redhead had experienced over the years. His eyes gazed over the streets as they continued walking… this was a rather nice change to the three years of solitude. If there was one thing he had not been expecting, it was to have been spending time with the magi and finding him rather having a good time. Sure, he had missed her; over the time of the previous war, they had become friends. He had saved her and she had saved him on numerous occasions; they held a bond that started as an unusual ‘rivalry’ of sorts. Shirou would never forget their first actual encounter… or at least what he believed their first encounter to be. The memories of being chased through the empty school were hardly something that would leave his mind. Unfortunate as it was that they would be reunited by means of the Holy Grail; Shirou was generally pleased to have the magi back within his life.
He allowed his words to settle as they began walking in silence for the short while. It seemed that his mention of their destination seemed to spark a sort of reaction in the now adult magi as she spoke to him in her teasing manner. He smiled and sighed lightly, allowing the feeling of sarcasm to travel over his head. He blinked precariously before lifting his head and looking at her. “The sarcasm is hardly necessary, you know. I figured the place where we met would be such a nice place to begin our walk down memory lane.” His own hint of sarcasm included, his mind began to think of their next destination. They had a lot of time before their “true date” if that was what they wished to call it. For a moment, he considered the idea of seeing what she had learnt in her three years of absence, but there was a slim to none chance of that occurring. Plus, he was unsure of how she would take seeing what he had developed in the recent years; a sheepish grin set itself upon his facial features as he quickly returned his gaze ahead and continued towards the destination.

Walking around like this with the other was rather strange, and carried an almost nostalgic feeling. She slowed down her stepping speed, letting the male fully catch up before walking normally again. Rin still couldn't believe herself to actually be running around doing something like this in the middle of a war, let along with Shirou. Heh. Would this make two "dates" that they would be going on today~? The thought made her smirk a bit while azure eyes glanced to the right and up to stare at the boy currently running through her head.
"What sarcasm~?" The smirk grew a little with this. From all the time they'd spent together she could easily play off that this was her natural way of talking, had he not noticed yet? "So we're going to the school..?" That had not been the place Rin had expected Shirou to take her. The school, first place they meet and also the area she'd brought him back from the dead. It carried around a sentimental feel, something she wasn't used to experiencing.

A couple more strides before he was actually beside the female; they began walking at a more regular pace before Shirou smiled lightly, allowing the feeling of the moment to overtake him. This was certainly not what he figured he would be doing during this war; of course, nothing could really be done during the light of day, for the servants at least, but it was odd for master’s to be together as well, was it not? Then again, Shirou and Rin had pretty much been together since the beginning of the Fifth Holy Grail War… they could hardly be considered normal anyways, right? His smile grew slightly as his gaze turned down towards the girl beside him; her azure eyes upon him as well as they stared at each other for the briefest of moment. It was odd, yet he couldn’t help but feel the faint warmth go to his face as he blinked and looked ahead, once more. He shouldn’t have been reacting like that; he sighed faintly, and found himself almost laughing to himself, for his own stupidity.
Her voice played on with the same note of innocence that was so common when trying to reveal her tone of sarcasm or tease. He rolled his eyes and noticed the smirk that grew slightly upon the girl’s face as he shook his head simply. “You just can’t help it can you? It’s like a natural reaction for you to sound the way you do and say what you say.” He smiled as he considered that and found that he couldn’t help but notice that he particularly enjoyed this part of Rin. He nodded as a response to her question and then glanced at her again. “It’s how we met, after all. Who knows… maybe you can chase me around again and try and kill me. Might be fun.” He smiled and teased her; the thought would be oddly funny as he tried to imagine himself running from her… in this case, it could actually be the other way around, but he would say nothing on that.

Gah. Why did she have to think along the lines of the school and that night with such detail? The foolish little sentimental emotions began to sneak in and cling to her as they walked on. Their grip growing stronger with each step that led to their final destination. Curse Shirou, she would make him pay for this awkward and new feeling. "Since I use it so much I guess it is just my normal way of speaking now." Rin responded while tilting her head a bit to the side in wonder. If she wasn't mistaken he'd been looking back at her a bit before suddenly turning away. What? Was there something on her face?
She opened her mouth at first to actually ask this question before shutting it when he began to talk on. Oh~? Did he want to get chased about like a little dog again? The magi wouldn't mind doing so in the least, but the school wasn't an area that would fit. While as a kid she would only cause small dents within the floor, or possible hole in the wall. Now she would make craters and might end up destroying sections of the school. A power house was what she was, and running about always made her forget to control herself.~ "Hm. I might have to take a rain check on that one Shirou.~"

He smiled lightly at her response and simply nodded. That seemed about right and it was a manner of speaking that seemed to fit her rather well, to be honest. Not that Shirou would ever tell her that; it would be far more than he would ever care to admit to her. He sighed lightly before he watched her out of the corner of her eye. It was odd, yet there was hardly any point in attempting to cover up what he was so horrible at covering up. The fact that he made it so obvious how uncomfortable most of these moments were, was something he would have to work on. He’d never have believed himself thinking this way or feeling some of the emotions, which were currently flowing through him. He closed his eyes for a moment as he stayed beside the young adult. What was wrong with what was happening here?
There had been no notice of him seeing her mouth open, yet she shut it just as quickly. His head tilted aside as his eyes opened again and he yawned. The thought of running around the school would have been an interesting little way to travel down memory lane, but he could hardly imagine Rin agreeing to such. Three years later and he would have imagined Rin to have grown in strength…quite a lot. He smiled as she responded and nodded, in agreement. “Probably right. I wouldn’t want to embarrass you anyways.” He might have been teasing, but he might have been serious; who was to say who had improved more… especially when Rin had been superior to him in the prior war.

For some reason her mind kept telling her that she was being watched by the other every time she looked away. Was there something from with Rin looking him straight in the eye or something? What a bother it was soon becoming, but she would do nothing about it. If Shirou wished to secretly stare at her... well... she guess she would have no problem with that. He could just be added onto other males that did the same thing. And yet, when she thought of him doing so, it gave her a different reaction and feeling her her heart then the others. What was this crap?!
Her lip pocked out a bit as her eyes twitched from his comment. What was that supposed to imply about Rin? Did he think that she would be running away, or even scared of him? Ha. Don't make her laugh. "I'd hate to kill you by accident." The same tone that was used on her was used on him in turn as they went around the next corner to have the school in site.
