"None taken. I'm just glad I got away with killing some of his men from time to time. Especially since they didn't reccognise me without the mask on half the time." Akira said, laughing a little. "Technecally, it was self-defence....those incompitent perverts..." she added, mumbling the last part under her breath.

AKira laughed heartilly and took off the mask without hesitation. "I'll take it off for free. THe thing's a damn nuisance. The only reason why I ever wore it was so that I didn't get reccognised by some villager if I had some duty to fufill or something along those lines...your not going to turn me in, right?" she said, still smiling sweetly up at Kaito.

"Nope! I, unlike the rest of the meat-headed bounty hunters, have at least a few standards." Kaito said proudly. "One of which being to give the girls a break. At least the pretty ones." he said winking at Akira. "Besides, you're not my main target."

Akira beamed proudly at the compliment that Kaito had given her. "Well, if you want me to, I'll be glad to help you get to your main target." she offered, her cheeks growing their rosy red again. She looked so innocent with that face and that blush! Oh, how looks deceived!

"Easier said than done..." Kaito said momentarily ignoring Akira now that he was thinking about his own emotional baggage. "All i have to go on is a few faces i remember from nine years ago, and not much else..." he said with a sigh.

"You'll find them. I know you will." Akira assured Kaito, in hopes of cheering him up. "It just takes a bit of faith and a stubborn faith in yourself. Don't give up, and don't let anyone tell you any otherwise." she added, her cheeks heating up even more now.

"From seeing you or me?" Akira replied jokingly, sticking her tongue out at Kaito as well. It was more then obvious that she didn't mean what she said. She was just being playful, something that she almost never got to do under her father's care.

"I would if i could find 'em!" Kaito said grinning. it had been a while since he last shared company with anyone, let alone a girl, so it was a good change of pace to have some fun for the first time in a few years.

"Then you'll definately find them soon! Just gotta follow the trail of broken mirrors and we'll soon find their ugly selves!" Akira said, nodding confidently. It was pretty good for her as well, to be able to just joke around like this. Kaito was the first friendly face she had seen since...well...ever.

"'Broken mirrors'?" Kaito raised an eyebrow, wondering what she meant. "Im going to go out on a limb and say you're talking about their dirty work. Which doesn't work seeing as how there are plenty of gangs that do the typical thievery crap, but no word of any trashed villages in nine years!"
