Kai was still in bed as well, fighting demons from his past. The blood was think in his dreams, and he had dampened the bed with his sweat. The blanket that Kalia had placed on him was thrown across the room, hitting the wall with a dull thump, and was in a heap in front of the door.

As the nightmare continued, Kia's thrashing picked up. Before it was just seeing the bodies, but now he was covering in red. His hands held someone, whom he did not know. Her face was round, and cute. The problem was, her throat was ripped open,a victim of a were. Her eyes where glazed over, and then her mouth moved. "Why didn't you save me! Why!" He dropped her there, confused in his dream. Someone stood next to him. He had a sense that it was someone he knew, someone dear to him.

The dream was heading for the worst, as the person in his dream he felt he could trust walked up to him. A smile was on Kia's face. He knew he could trust this person, but then he saw a sword flash, and his stomach was pierced. The sword was inside him, digging away.

In the real world, Kia screamed. Still asleep. He was laying on the bed now, grabbing his uninjured stomach. Most of his bandages had fallen off, revealing unscarred flesh. Not a single wound could be seen, not even a scab. The IV was still in his arm, but the cord was being pulled as it was still connected to the bag, and the stand as well. It was a miracle it hadn't been pulled out by all his thrashing around.

Kia's eyes suddenly opened. They had changed to a golden color, with vertical slits for pupils. Then, he disappeared from within her grasp. All she saw was a blur, then the next thing she knew, he was in the air above her, falling down on top of her with his fist aimed at her head. With a shout, Kia was attacking her.

Then his eyes changed back, and his face showed horror as he was about to hit the person that had helped him so much. He tried to divert his attack, but failed. He was still on a collision with her head. How he had ended up there, Kia didn't know. All he knew was he wasn't asleep anymore and Kalia was in danger.

Kia landed clumsily onto the bed. He actually more of crashed into it fist first, then the rest of his body collapsed around his arm, as he wasn't holding it taunt so as not to hurt Kalia.

Stumbling in his speech, Kia responded, "I'm so sorry. So..." Tears where streaming down his face at this point. "I don't know... How did..." He was still confused, but by now he had rolled onto his back, still on the bed.

Were as last night he looked healthy and flush, he was once again looking pale white. "So... sorry..." His breathing was becoming labored, and the tears continued to stream down his face. "I wouldn't... want to... hurt..." He couldn't finish his statement, as he was finding it hard to breath. Sweat was still rolling off him, beading on his skin. He wasn't hot to the touch though, so he wasn't running a fever.

"I'm... so... tired...and... sor...ry..." Kia was breathing heavily now. His teeth had grown into the typical two fangs, as his body needed blood badly. Her arm was so close. He could hear her heart beating. He could all but see the blood pumping in her body.

As her arm moved, Kia took a bite. As soon as he did he stopped himself. "No!" He rolled over, letting her go. "I'm sorry." He was still crying. The urge to get her blood was so intense, but he didn't need it. Not that way. His teeth had some blood on it, Kalia's blood. It was sweet in his mouth, and tasted so good. It wasn't right, but it seemed so good.

"I think..." Kia started to say, between breaths and sobs, "That you... need to get... out of... here." He was desperately holding back the urge. It was a feeling he had never felt before. He had never gone this long in this state before he had a treatment. He noticed the blood bag, sitting on the floor. It still had a few drops left in it. What little didn't go through the tube. Rolling to the floor and landing on all four, he grabbed it quickly. He then sank his teeth into it. Biting the plastic as much to get to the little blood there as to try and slate the urge to bit. When he was done, he kept biting holes into the bag. It wasn't doing him any more good. The blood was gone. The biting wasn't slating the urge.

Kia rejected the thought, but his instincts were all but overwhelming. "No.." Kia said weakly. The blood bag was still hanging from his mouth. His two K-9 teeth had grown into sharp points by now. He shook his head viciously. "I refuse to..." He was getting worse. He could feel his body wanting the blood so badly. "I don't want to!" He shouted, the bag now stuck in his teeth. "I don't want to hurt you Kalia. I already have!" He was sobbing in tears at this point. He was almost acting hysterically.

He spit out the bag in his mouth, crawling closer to Kalia on the bed. Instead of biting her, he bit the mattress of the bed. The soft cotton gave into his sharp teeth. His eyes shifted from Kalia, to the blood coming from her arm. He mumbled into the mattress, as the cotton dried out his mouth. Then he squeezed his eyes shut, wishing for it to all go away. He wanted his normal life back. He wanted to be a normal human again, with just a sever case of anemia. He couldn't deal with this. Not after the dreams of blood.

All the while, tears continued to stream from his eyes. His color was still pale, but he was determined to continue to bite the mattress. He could smell it now, the scent of the blood. It had an alluring call to it. It wanted him to drink it. He wanted to drink it, but he refused to.

Kia kept his eyes shut, but he was slowly losing his fight. Her blood smelled so enticing. Even with his eyes still closed, Kia let go of the bed. He crawled closer to her, and the blood. He whispered as a last plea, "Noooo...." He couldn't fight it any more. Her blood called to him too strongly. With eyes still shut, he followed the scent to his original bit marks. Slowly, and with jerking movements, he got closer. At first, he started with a few licks, but that quickly turned to him chomping down again on the same holes as before, but much harder than last time. This time, he was really going.

After some time, as the urge slowed down, but before he felt perfect again, Kia stopped. He pushed himself away, forcing his teeth to dislodge from her arm. Then he scurried to the corner of the room, grabbing the blanket and throwing it over himself. "I'm sorry." He said with a wavering voice. He felt so bad taking her blood like that. He felt like he had done something perverted with her. Now he was hiding from his shame, covering his face so the world couldn't see him. His teeth where still pointy, and his urge to feed was not slated fully. It was to the point that he could control it though, and was biting the blanket now to help slate the desire to bit her again.

"Please... leave now...." Kia said, his voice muffled by the blanket. "I... can... control it... now..." his foot was sticking out of the blanket, returning to a rather normal skin tone, though still slightly pale in shade. At some point, Kia bit his own hand, which helped him calm down as he could then drink the same blood that was inside him. Slowly, he started to calm down, but was still suffering from his hunger.

As soon as she left, Kia slide his way back down to the floor. The blanket was still around him, so he grabbed it, like a child would their small blanket. He squeezed it as he thought of everything, and bit his hand again. From there, he blessedly feel asleep again. This time, it was a calming and quite sleep. One spawned of terror and exhaustion.

So there he sat, hand in mouth and blanket wrapped around him, sound asleep. There he waited for Kalia to return. She was now seeing him at his weakest. No longer was he the tough, fastest kid in school. Now he was but a frightened child. Alone in a world of terror and blood. Now, he was asleep.

Kai stirred, but ended up just rolling over. His hand flopped out of his mouth, the two puncture wounds already closing up. He laid there, still asleep, fangs now bared and his mouth open. His arm was dangling over the edge of the bed. He wasn't twisting nor was he turning. No twitching or any sign of a nightmare this time around. Then again, he wasn't in a deep sleep yet.
