Swiftclaw began to worry if this really was a safe place to stay, but after calming down he started to feel weary again. As the cats talked, his eyes kept closing. He found himself struggling to stay awake, even though he was standing and listening.
After debating whether or not it would be okay for him to go to sleep yet, Swiftclaw gave up. Surely the others would work it out? He walked slowly to a corner of the room, where he hoped he wouldn't be noticed and lay down. Sleep overcame him in seconds.

BleedingMoon had been watching Swiftclaw closely since they had left the abandoned two leg den. Several times he'd thought the tom would collapse all together but had managed to keep up with the group somehow, despite his fatigue. Also noticed, with much interest, how close a Wind Clan female that had stood guard with him stuck with him threw out the remainder of the trip. "Little lucky with a ladies eh?"

Breath of relief escaped BleedingMoon's mouth when they arrived at the two leg place where Theresa said they would be staying. Felt a little uneasy about entering a twoleg home that was still lived in but his weary limbs spoke louder worries as he slipped threw the hole in the window.

"Who is this?" BleedingMoon's silver ears pricked interest as a lovely young kittypet made her appearance. His ears fell back as the Clan cats acted hostilely toward her and avoided answering her question. Kittypet or not they were still trespassing which was against the warrior code. "Please excuse me very rude companions, you may call me BleedingMoon if you wish. We're cats from the forest. No need to worry... merely passing threw." he purred.

Tigonheart walked into a cleared part of the room and sat. He looked around at all the sleeping or conversing cats and watched them. He wondered how so many cats from other clans could get together like this and keep calm. Some of them seemed a little upset by the other clan cats but he saw that some of them were getting along. He didn't know anyone from any other clans so he just layed down by him self and cleaned his fur while he waited for them all to move on after getting enough rest.

Hawktail had begun the day brightly, and full of energy, but that energy swiftly faded as the day and the cold wind wore on. Probably due to the conditions of the night before, the windclan she-cat found herself getting tired after only a half day's travel. She was grateful to see the twoleg den come into site, and eagerly pushed her way through the window when her turn came. Dropping with a soft thud on the floor of the den, she gave her eyes a moment to adjust and sniffed a few times before sneezing. It was dry and devoid of wind; this den would do. White paws carried her on a quick check around the place, and just when she was ready to find a nice sleeping spot when the young kittypet pipped up from one end of the room. Curiously making her way over to the new cat, and rejoining the group, Hawktail watched the exchanges between her and the forest cats.

Although she knew well, how hostile clan cats were towards kittypets, the brown and white she-cat also understood that they were no longer in the forest, but in this kittypet's den. "I'm with the Shadowclanner on this one," She mewed calmly, flicking her tail in the strange, tri-colored tom's direction, "Please forgive us for intruding and allow us to stay a night in your den. We'll stay out of your way and be gone again before too long." Hawktail couldn't stifle the yawn that followed her mews, and shook her head after it to keep herself alert.

Even Ben was getting tired and worn out on this journey to many days in a warm barn getting fat on mice for him. He didn't feel to bits about going into the den abandoned or not. From what he could sent there were no mice here, but he found the kitty pet food and quickly nommed on it he was for now a rogue and he knew not to be picky in two leg place. When the shrill voice came he dropped the food like he had never eaten a thing and actually felt bad about it now. "...sorry..."

Tornadotail watched Ben it was his right as a rouge to do as he pleased, but it made his tummy grumble knowing that he could not do the same. Instead he watched with a distanced expression. It was how he dealt with fatigue and hunger, he went quite and only spoke if he needed to. When the voice came he barley turned his head to look at the young kittypet. What caught his attention more was the picture Spiderheart was looking at.

"Hm..." Tornadotail mumbled before getting up and walking over to Hannah.
"Good evening Hannah. I think everyone agrees with me when I say we're sorry for intruding. My name is Tornadotail and this glutton." he said flicking his tail to Ben. "Is Big Ben , as the others have said we are forest cats, but there is more to us being around then just passing through. I hope you don't mind me asking questions Hannah, but have any cats gone missing around two leg place? Or have you seen any wild cats before us?" Tornadotail doubted this kittypet knew anything, but there was no risk in asking. After all there was a small chance she had some information.

"Well it's nice to know that you forest cats have manners. Some of you anyway." Hannah flicked her tail and made her way over to Bleedingmoon, Hawktail, Ben, and Tornadotail. She glared at the small rogue, since he was eating her food, but she noticed how ragged and thin they all looked before she opened her mouth to protest.

"I don't leave the house very much, so I haven't seen anyone disappearing or anything. But my sister, Gloria, she's the other cat in the picture." She pointed to what Spiderheart was looking at. "She's a lot more adventurous than me, a lot more. She thinks that me and her, we're descended from wild cats. I'm like, give me a break, how is that possible? But she won't think otherwise, regardless of how much I argue with her.

"So she leaves the house, whenever the weather's nice and our housefolk aren't home. I don't know what she does, but she always comes back before night. Except... the last time I saw her was a couple days ago. I'm starting to get worried, and I would go out to find her myself but it's way too dangerous out there for young Hannah!"

"Hmm." Typical for a kittypet. She wouldn't even risk a whisker to find her sister. Spiderheart didn't mind staying here for the night though. It was warmer here than in the alleys.

"Maybe she was also taken by the two-legs. But why would they take her, a kittypet?" Spiderheart shook his head a bit and curled up near the other sleeping cats.

Rosethorn had been off to one side, trying to decide if she wanted to go out and hunt or if she was more tired than hungry, when the young kittypet came in. She listened in on resulting the conversation between Hannah and the clan cats, and eventually decided to join in. "Excuse me," she said to Hannah as she stepped up to the group. "My name is Rosethorn, and I'd also like to ask you something. Did your sister talk about anything she'd seen or done when she was out? Did she see anything strange perhaps, or mention any other cats we could ask for more information?"

Fleetwing winced at Hannah's words. "I'm sorry," she murmured. "My name is Fleetwing. We won't stay for long, and I promise I won't eat your food." She shivered as she listened to Hannah's story. "Well...you might be descended from wild cats...some cats from the forest travel to Twoleg place--which is here--to live as a kittypet with the Twolegs. And we're looking for lost friends ourselves. I lost my best friend, Bramblestone--we think the Twolegs kidnapped her along with seven or eight others." Fleetwing curled her tail around herself to make her appear less threatening to the brown kittypet. She glanced disapprovingly at Ben. You wouldn't catch a warrior eating another cat's prey, no matter who the cat or what the freshkill was!

"Er... I don't remember her saying anything." Hannah cocked her head, trying to think. "Before she left, she was saying about how she was going to try and find some wild cats. Again. She never found any that lived in the forest, like she wanted, though I think she did meet a rogue once. And she didn't want to meet him again, that's for certain.

"Oh, right, I remember something!" Her eyes brightened up as she continued. "She said that she saw a truck with cages, and in the cages were cats that she'd never seen before. She thought they were wild cats, and she was going to find that truck. And I thought she was making it up all up... Maybe your friend Bramblestone was in one of those cages? Sorry, I don't think she said anything else."

"Truck? What's a truck?" Spiderheart spoke up from his corner, stifling a yawn. He was really getting tired, even though this conversation was interesting. Maybe he'll figure out what's going on, where Linnetsong is, once he gets some sleep. His eyes drooped and he fell into a doze...

"A truck is a monster to you clan cats." Theresa scrambled down from the window, carrying a mouse and a lizard. "They're bigger however, and usually carries something. Like cats. At least it's nice to know we're heading in the right direction..."

Her voice was a bit wispy as she settled down to eat the mouse, leaving the lizard for anyone else that was hungry.

Hawktail was slightly amused with how chatty the young kittypet had become once she was confirmed that her life and home were not threatened, but she did not like the news about the missing clan cats being inside a monster. Her brown and white fur bristled slightly at the thought of her clanmates being eaten by the twoleg beast. "That's helpful... but only to an extent," She mewed uneasily after a while, "How are we to find this cat-eating monster if we don't know where This kittypet's sister was?" Obviously, they could try to track the other cat's scent trail, but with the length of her disappearance, the recent rains, and the fact that Hawktail could only scent one cat in the den, it seemed unlikely that they would be very successful at that venture.

It might not be much to go on, but any news was better than no news. "Thank you, Hannah," meowed Rosethorn. She felt like she ought to offer the young cat something for her information and allowing them to stay, but she had nothing. She couldn't exactly promise to find the cat's sister, so the only thing she could thing to offer was food. "Can I get you something to eat to show my appreciation? I could catch you a mouse or something," she offered the kittypet.

Fleetwing nodded, worried. "Thank you, Hannah. We appreciate your help. I hope we can help find your sister as well as our friends." Fleetwing turned to Theresa. The prey hanging from the old loner's jaws made her mouth water as the smell came to her nose. "Where did you find that?" Fleetwing asked. "And what if the Twolegs return? What if they capture us?" A fine rescue mission they'd be, getting themselves captured, especially with a leader or two. The Clans could not survive with many leaders missing.

Now more than ever, Fleetwing ached to be home, where the worries were few. She wanted to be hunting with Rollinggust or sharing tongues with Bramblestone. Why can't the Twolegs leave us alone as they always have? Why do they have to keep getting in our way?

Fishertail was amused how the kittypet seemed upset that they'd invaded her home, yet didn't lift a paw to chase them out; the Clan cats just took over the space, HER space, without a challenge. The Thunderclan mother curled up on a comfortable patch of floor and listened to the conversation with interest; she winced upon hearing that the captured cats had been whisked away inside of a Twoleg monster. They could be miles away by now!

"Did she even say where this 'truck' was?" she meowed. "That would have been helpful.

Warily, slowly, and not all together willingly, Windsong entered the twoleg nest with the rest of the others. At the sudden appearance of the annoying kittypet, he bit back a number of venomous comments that he could have passed. He inched forward to better hear the voices of the cats who had approached the kittypet. Her story sent a excited shiver down his spine. Her sister had seen the missing cats, before she herself had disappeared. But it was at least something. There were getting closer. Ever closer. But that monster, or truck as the kittypet had named it, could have been headed anywhere. It was faster than even the quickest of WindClan. It could be anywhere by now. He nodded to Fleetwing, speaking up for the first time. "They will not capture us." His words were slightly hoarse, but held confidence. He fell silent again, crouching with his tail flicked over his front paws. He wanted to see if the kittypet could provide anymore useful information.

"A mouse? Eww! No thanks! How can you guys deal with all the flesh, blood, bones... uh..."

Hannah suddenly remembered that she was in company of a lot of wild cats, that didn't mind all the gore. And that she was made of the same stuff of mice, technically, and she wasn't exactly sure if they didn't eat cats like her or not.

"I don't know where the truck went. But I'm guessing that it came from one of the bigger buildings, farther from the edge of the towns and stuff." She nodded. "And don't worry. My housefolk aren't coming back for a while. See, there's this thing called a calender, and whenever the boxes are marked off, that means that they'll be gone, and..."

"I caught it from outside, of course." Theresa replied to Fleetwing, trying to drown out the never ending chatting of the kittypet. "There's not a lot of prey outside, compared to anywhere else, but it's the best we can do for a roof over our heads for once."

"Now, all of us have to get some sleep, since tomorrow we'll have to pick up our pace if we want to get to them before summer."
