Theresa had heard a commotion outside, and was on the way out to examine it. She reaches the doors and starts to open the door, but the door opened and someone knocked her down.
THeresa watched as the women hit a panel and used a near by hidden chute to escape. THeresa was livid but didnt dare say anything fear that if she were to speak she would speak with a raised voice. A voice raised to the point od sonic porportions.

Jacen had been sitting quietly in his room, enjoying the solitude. He had been prone to that since politics shifted and mutants were even more hated than before. Not only did he have the pain of watching a few of his closest friends die fighting alongside Jacen, he was still dealing with the guilt of not going to look for Penance when he knew that she needed him the most. But, of course, when he wanted to look for her, he was chided as selfish by many of the residents of the Institute.
"Selfishness......because I wanted to find......" Jacen's mutterings were instantly stopped short when he smelled brimstone in his room and Kurt looked a bit disheveled to say the least. Almost simulatenously, there was a loud knock on the door and someone yelling, "Get out here! We've got a situation!"
"Ja," Kurt said as he grabbed Jacen's shoulder and 'ported the both of them in the hallway. When they reappeared, Jacen felt a bit queasy and did his best to choke back the bile encroaching.
"Regain yer composure, bub," Wolverine said as he started to head down the hall. The younger mutants followed close behind.
"....You.....said...we have a situation?," Jacen asked. He hadn't even changed out of his uniform since the training in the Danger Room.
"Yea. Someone handed a bunch of the kids their asses," Wolverine said as he tossed his cigar into a random potted plant. "Just one person. It shouldn't have happened.....but....." Wolverine stopped dead in his tracks and sniffed out someone's scent. Jacen motioned Kurt to go on ahead when he noticed a confused look on Logan's face. When Kurt had teleported on to regroup with the others, Jacen spoke up.
"What is it, Logan? It looks like you've seen a ghost."
"Quite possible, runt," the curmudgeonly mutant said, "It would explain why the kids were trashed so easily, and how security was bypassed so easily."
"....Who......," Jacen asked out of curiousity.
"You don't want to know, kid."
"If I didn't I wouldn't have asked," Jacen stated matter-of-factly.
Wolverine snarled a bit at the indignity sent his way, but reluctantly said the assailant's name. "It's Penance, kid."
Jacen's emotions picked up a millionfold since he had been back at the Institute. Penance was back. Not only was she back, but she was here. But what got him was the fact that she was attacking his friends? That wasn't her. "Evelyn? She wouldn't hurt anyone that lives here. I know that for a fact........that doesn't sound like her." Jacen started to walk hurriedly down the hallway before breaking into a dead run.
"HEY! Where are you going kid?!?!," Wolverine yelled at Jacen.
"Where the hell do you think?!?!?!," Jacen replied as he started to dart through waves of people, "I'm going to find her!!" Even though he did not know where she was, he had a feeling that maybe someone did. If not, he'd search every damn square inch of the Institute looking for her.

Stupid move... Theresa will tell them where you went. You're going to ******** this up... I am not going to let you do this.
Shut the hell up. When I'm done here, I'm going to labotomize you so I don't have to listen to your whiney little voice anymore.
Jade slunk down through one of the passages and lowered herself into the weapons room. Her mind already had the room mapped and it was nice that it hadn't changed. Everything was where she thought it would be. Blades and all... armor and all.
Don't get your filth on my armor.
It will be my pleasure.
Jade laughed in that villanous way as she buckled on what peices of Penance's armor remained in the weapons room. Next stop, the power supply. Yes, it gave a few of her enemies the advantage, but it gave everybody else a disadvantage. She had no problem seeing in the dark.
Walking down the bottom corridor, she ripped open a panel on the wall and tossed a blade into the circuitry. The lights flickered out.
"Lights out, boys and girls."

the students left the room to go and great this new arrival, and Kidd was left alone with Mr summers. " um, well do I have a room?" Kidd asked " oh yes we'll get you a room, which one 'm noy sure they might be in sort supply. but you could ask around with the other girls and see if one would like to share with you." scott answered with a light tone. kidd was feeling more and more welcome. she continued her questions about the school. some of her more paranoid or "interesting" ones , as scott comments, he answered with a laugh. kidd was so happy she'd found this place. she'd spent a long time looking and the west coast or the US for a new home. but she was alway met with immediate anger and hatred. It was very hard to hide that she was a mutant, and she couldn't live alone anymore. she was about to ask Scott about classes, when she suddenly looked off in one direction, as if some one called his name
scott, trouble. out side your needed. yes jean. scott nodded, and turned back to kidd who had a confused expretion on her face. "um, i have to go. make you self at home" she turned to go that looked back " Can you use your powers?"
" um, yes i guess so" kidd answered at his sudden question.
"Good. 'cause you might need them soon". scott yelled back. at least she can't tryed to help her self if it come to that. and he sprinted off to help with this 'trouble'.
kidd was left standing in the hall just outside the kitchen, confused. she supposed he was the head master and need to be in more important places that chatting with a newbie like herself. she folded up her papers and stuffed them in her pocket. she wandered down the hall was, when suddenly the dark hair boy, Kade from earlier flew past her with a yellow streak. she thought she felt the earth shake, like the earth quakes back home but it was probably just the motion on the boy. "hum, i guess that is trouble if mr. tv is running off" she shrugged and walked down the hall, " hope that i don't get in the way" she looked around the tv room the boy just left and sat on the couch. "hum, Friends... cool"

In Jacen's rush to get outside, he ran into Regina before he could make it too far. "Gah!!! Slow up!" she cried out, catching her balance on the wall.
"It is Penny... but it's not. Someone, something has her under control. It's her body, that's for damn sure." Regina told him, seeing the emotions flicker under the surface. "You do remember me right? Her best friend?"
Just then the lights flickered out and she groaned. "Not again.... Hey, did I forget to mention you and I are on this Lady Jade's hit list? What a lovely greeting in my room awaited me when I got back, let me tell you."

"Silly flock... open targets..." She peered out of a vent from where she was climbing through the woodwork. Finding the place she was looking for, namely an empty hallway, she slid out onto the ground under a hallway bench.
Their backs were to her which made them sitting ducks. Unharnessing a sai in each hand, her feet were silent as she crept in the darkness. She didn't aim to injure, she aimed to kill. One went towards Jacen's back and one towards Regina's... of course, her aim was thrown off ever so slightly by Wolverine.
He growled and dove at her torso with claws popped. The unexpected force sent her and Wolverine sliding across the ground into the wall.
He'll bring your a** down.
No, I don't think he will. They are going to play to keep you alive. I am goign to play to keep them dead.
"Come on, old man, let's do this right then," She kicked him off of her and put a fist into his stomach, hard. Diving for one of her misaimed sai, she grabbed it in her hand before Wolverine could pounce again and sent it towards Jacen.
"I will kill all of you before I'm done," She pulled out another blade and got Wolverine in the shoulder.
You're already screwing up. I'm not going to stop until they get you...
You sing the same song over and over again. You're still locked away and I'm still killing.
Wolverine picked her up and dropped her into the wall again hoping to stun her long enough to sort this out. It didn't work as her healing kicked in every time. She threw a few kicks at him and his claws worked against her blades. They were in a virtual stalemate until she got the drop on him and put him into the wall with a dagger in the gut.
NO, you b***h. STOP THIS.
You're boyfriend's next.

Markus shook off the stuper he had been in. "Gotta start taking that more often..." He looked around. "Great he said sarcasticly. "Where did miss pycopath go..." He noted the darkness in the mansion. "This should be fun..." He ran inside.

"Oh geez, Sonya..." She said as they experimented. "I'm sorry, I had no idea where you've been lately, I didn't know you got back...." She gave her a quick hug. "We were only speculating anyways, say, I've got to go to the mall, come with me...." She was really sorry for that. "We'll go and get something for Sasha, they have a new store there now I want to look in..." She turned to the other two. "Sorry girls...." She'd talk to them later and went over to help Check on Sasha. Watching Sonya leap from the window below she didn't think much of it. "Sonya how are you feeling?"
"Stupid old sneakers..." Cathy groweled. Betrayed by poor footing she had slipped and cracked her head on the ground. "Ok the kid gloves are off, that b***h is going down..." She phased out and followed Markus back to the mansion.

Theresa knew somthing was up with this strange new arrival. She knew she shouldnt follow, but she had to. She runs over and leaps into the chute before it closed.
She slid down for what seemed like hours due to the anticipation of her arrival. She lands, on her feet, is a room she had never seen before. Weapons were locked in case, on the ground, hanging on the wall: everywhere. Theresa stared in amazment.

So it is our long-lost Penance, and at the same time, it is not. Interesting, Morgan thought to himself. Having the lights out wasn't really a problem for him. In fact, Jade's little stunt had given Morgan a rather impressive advantage.
It didn't take long to find her. Her skirmish with Wolverine could be heard halfway across the mansion. Silently darting towards the fight, he arrived to see Jade knock Logan into a wall, with a large dagger protruding from his abdomen. This was one of the opportunities he was waiting for. Without warning, a volley of shuriken fired out from the darkness, tearing towards Jade. Morgan knew that she would probably dodge them, but in doing so would have to split her attention. And that's when he would strike.

Jamie quickly shook off his first annoyance when Wolverine said that 'Someone handed a bunch of the kids their asses.' It was comments like that that really pissed him off. First he wasn't a kid, he was a full fledged member of the X-Men, and second he didn't get his a** handed to him. All things considered he did a pretty good job. But Jamie just shook it off as one of Wolverine's mannerisms, and chased after Regina and Jacen, not about to let them leave him behind.
He swore as he run, hating that the lights were out, but it occured to him that he still had a small flashlight in his pocket. He smiled slightly, and watched as Morgan started to attack Lady Jade. Jamie sat, biding his time, and waiting for his opening.

Regina heard the scuffle behind her and Jacen, and turned to watch the fight. She knew Logan was good. And he'd be easily able to beat Lady Jade... but it seemed things weren't going well. Her night vision was excellent due to her abilities to the shadows but sometimes she wished they weren't so great. She saw as Logan got pinned to a wall with a dagger in his stomach.
"Oh boy..." she muttered, watching as Moren and Jaime got to the action.
Gen blinked at Sonya. She didn't know that Sonya was there (didn't she die?) or that she was the roommate of the person they were talking to. "Guess we're back down to two. At least we'll have space." she said, trying to keep things light but feeling like she'd lost a relationship already.

Pietro lay back against the grass, tucked away in a small Romanian village near the mountains. Winter was nearing, and as such he was bound up in a wool coat, pants, and even boots. It was always hard to be fashionable in such circumstances.
He raised his left arm up into the air. It was weird to call it that, considering it had been over a year since his arm had been flesh and blood. As it stood, he got the next best thing. A carbon-steel reinforced prosthetic wired directly into his nervous system. It had all the articulation and function of a real arm, with an added bit of strength and durability on top of that. It could do everything an arm could do. He just couldn't feel anything.
"Sheesh," he muttered, staring at the perpetually gray sky. Most of the trees were bare, and had been so for decades. The village was ancient and had its charm... but that was just a nice way of saying it was old and ugly. "So this is why no one ever comes back here."
He stood and stretched, looking westward. How long had it been now? Three months? Four? It was hard to tell. Though his time with Sasha had made things slightly more tolerable, on the whole it was a huge pain in the a** to be stuck in Xavier's all the time.
And yet... dammit all... they were the only ones who could repair his arm, which had been seizing up lately. And of course, they had food. And somehow, they weren't as lame as Romania.
"When I rule this world, this is the first place to be bombed," he growled as he raced back toward New York... he'd be there in a few minutes or so.

(Er... I'll try to jump in but I'm not sure if it will work. Anyway, here I go.)
Alone in a dark room, Freya was kneeling on the floor as if she was praying. Suddenly, a loud crack was heard behind the door of the closet. She silently stood up, walked slowly toward the door and opened it. A bloody ghost of a teenage girl was floating, her throat sliced open, her face battered and her wrists almost severed from her arms.
"Help me..." said the ghost.
"It's ok," said Freya with a warm smile. "I'll help you." She extended her hand and fingers, letting only her index touched the forehead of the girl. The ghost let a sigh of relief before vanishing into a green light.
How long was she in there? 2 hours? 3 hours? No matter how long, it was already too much. Finally, she saw the blond walking out of the house with a few bills in her hands. The goth stood up and put her hands on her hips.
"What took you so long?
"Sorry. She was shy."
"Since when spirits are shy?" asked Wanda angrily. "I finished that stupid Harry Potter book ages ago! I had nothing to do while you were having a nice chat with your job girl!" She sighed before saying "I can't believe you can just exorsise houses like that. Or should I say, I can't believe we're living on that!
"With the current...situation, we don't have much of a choice." She lowered her voice before she continued. "People hates mutants now and I'm under surveillance. Heavy surveillance. From both countries."
"Of course... You had to pissed off Canada too..."
Freya was never able to make Wolverine talked. Though she was happy to have talk to him, her curiosity wasn't satisfied. She was still digging about his past when the Forge incident happened. Unfortunately, she crossed some members of Alpha Flight on the battlefield and she wasn't exactly nice with them. Since then, she and Wanda were on the run.
They were both itching for some trouble to get some exercises...
