Eric forced a smile but made it look natural. "Really you didn't do anything. You just slept and drank."

"I'm taking your begging to have my lay with you so you can curl into me, as your being 'Friendly.' So it is fine." He said which was somewhat of a bluff.

Rai felt a faint blush creep over his nose and cheeks. "I truly am sorry." He sighed, "I..I haven't been with anyone since my wife died, so I suppose my desire for closeness comes out when I haven't any control over my own body," he looked at the floor and shrugged.

"I understand so you don't have to worry about it."
Eric walked past Rai to go to the dresser and grabbing out some fresh clothes. He was still exhausted as he didn't sleep well that night and didn't sleep at all the night before.
"I'm going to go have a shower. Help yourself to anything." Eric went to pat Rai on the shoulder but pulled his hand back as he almost did.

Rai could feel the guilt washing over him and sighed, "Alright." He got up and got himself a glass of water, and sat back down, sipping at it gingerly.

Eric went into the bathroom and quickly showered. He came out 15 minutes later with a pair of black pants on and a red button down shirt open. A towel in his hand as he dried his hair. A few drops of water from his fringe dropping down onto his chest that was in plain sight.

Rai looked up at him and unconsciously looked at the older mans chest for a moment. He shook his head slightly and smiled, "Have a nice shower?"

Eric finished drying his hair and wrapped the towel over his shoulders, fringe still dripping as he sat down in the chair.
"It was alright. Didn't get rid of the pain in my body."

Rai gave him a pained look. "You could have slept on the bed. I wouldn't have noticed if you moved me to the couch." He laughed and arched his back up, to crack it. "I was out like a light. Though, things are starting to come back to me. They're all fuzzy."

Eric stiffened at hearing Rai's words. "O-Oh really what do you re-remember?"

Rai worked at his lip, "I remember you asking me if I could walk to the bed by myself. I guess I couldn't, because I remember you helping me." he stopped and looked at his feet. "The rest will come to me soon. It usually does."

Eric looked at Rai's lips as he talked and he to looked away after a moment. "Oh- It does has. Well...I guess that is a good thing." Eric took off onto the bathroom and brushed his hair and teeth without saying anything.
Appearing moments later he finished getting ready and looked at the clock. They still had hours before they needed to go to the staff room before meeting in the grand hall for breakfast.
'He's going to hate me the moment he remembers what I did to him'
"Feel free to...stay. I have a few things I need to do before breakfast"
