There, I think what he did was sufficient enough to injure your character a lot without killing her. On top of that Buru's no longer messing around... I'm stepping up my game. xp

You know, one reason why I wanted her to really hurt is BECAUSE she was using bankai. She has no idea how to use it effectively, since her shikai is a ranged weapon, but her bankai is close.

He just locked his away to mock her because she's a girl, he doesn't believe he needs to use Shikai or Bankai against a woman. A horrible ego I suppose, and that and being an old school Samurai would force lame habits into his brain pan.
Well I promise you he wouldn't use any powers against an unseated members. Actually he loved fighting the weaker characters because he thinks that from a fight between himself and them that they'll actually get stronger than fighting a character of their own level.
He believes a true warrior would pick a fight with other warriors that they deem "More Powerful" than themselves. That way any bragging rights are legit and a person can truly feel honor.
Just keep in mind, Samurai actually embrace a warriors death. They WANT to be killed in combat.

That's true...... You don't need to know kido though! When I was new in the squad Hirimi had to do everything the human way. You know, bandages, medicine, that kind of stuff.
