Mizu wakes up in the middle of the night.She walks all over the rooms making sure everyone was in bed and safe.She saw that the boy was missing and she sniffed the air.She caught his sense and followed it.She caught up with him."What are you doing?You're supposed to be asleep in bed."

The boy shrugged his shoulders. He was actually half expecting that someone would follow him. "Couldn't sleep. Plus, I thought I sensed a wolf halfbreed earlier. But, it seems I'm... What's the human phrase? Just trippin'."

"Well come now.You must get some sleep.We may be going into the woods.I wondered out here once and built a giant tree house.We can go there.It has everything.Showers,food,beds,technology."She turned him around and got to know him on the way back to the cabin.

The boy raised an eyebrow at both "shower" and "technology". Of course, being a demon (not a flame spirit like what Strider said), he's never come into contact with such things in his life. Sure, he's been in the big city before, when he was following Kyoko, but other than that, he's never come across even seen a cell phone up close in his hand.

The boy's face gained a look of realization when Mizu elaborates on what a shower is, but makes a face at her description of technology, further confusing him. "Do keep in mind that I've never even seen such things up close. You're description of 'technology isn't really helping matters."
