Sitting on her folded legs for a moment regarding the man sitting just past the sliding doors. Remarkable. Smiling with a sadness so sweet, she knew he needed to be outside. Turning her head again, she spied Bones. He was still pretty covered with crimson stains from the…well ‘scuffle’ was putting it more than lightly. Reaching for the bottle of antiseptic once more Veil began to wipe the blood from his face, knowing full well he was dead to the world. Bones was always like this when his body was under pressure, whether he had the choice or not.
His pitch black hair was matted everywhere, and that couldn’t be helped considering that half his face was resting against a thick and warm blanket. Placing her hand on his head again, she stroked it gently in a calming manner, one that only she was allowed by the young man. He had told her so. Smiling with her eyes, she slowly stood.
The pile of blankets and cushions was more than half her height. Taking out another large blanket, she dragged it over and slipped it on top of Bones’ limp form. A task she’d done many times before. He was completely defenseless in his current state, which almost seemed comatose for the moment…but she knew at least they were safe. Looking to his hand, suddenly her thoughts blurred. His sword. Where was it?
Cooper was sitting in the snow, his butt getting rather cold. Looking up, he spotted the long haired man emerging from the dojo, alone. He seemed to be patched up somewhat, but there was also a heavy toll hanging on his spirit. Bones got that a lot, so he could tell. Ears perking, he rose and moved closer as quietly as he could, not wanting to disturb whatever he was doing. Sitting back down, he watched the man, wagging his tail in the wet snow.

The purple eyes open to look at the canine in the snow and he gave a soft smile along with another sigh. "Come here, you." He guide him around to the other side of the dojo where a larger deck was made. Large enough for them to sit on it comfortably. "At least you butt is not in the snow." Several people were suppose to meditate there, but it was snowing, and no one knew about the classes Adriel was suppose to give about understanding between a pokemon and their trainer. So there was nothing but dry wood where they could both sit down.
Adriel sit there and once again tried to meditate, but his vision started to blur. Every part of his body was begging to sleep, to just give into exhaustion so it he could sleep through the pain. He ignore the cry outs, where was he suppose to sleep? Out there? With the arcanine? He didn't had even a coat on, his shirt was soaked in blood and half his pants were soak in water from the snow. Oh yes, he was going to sleep here. The hell, he would freeze before that. No, he would just have to stay away until tomorrow morning. Hey at least he had company.

Cooper happily hopped up onto the dojo floor carefully, knowing his weight was something to recon with. Nails clicking on the ground, he trotted up to the white haired man and plopped down happily, his ears perked up. Looking at the human, he could see that he was cold, and his intuition with fire could tell that his body temperature was dropping. Ears now folding back, Cooper whimper growled and nudged at Adriel’s face. He needed a buddy as well, and who better than a dog? Mans best friend.
Shifting closer so that his body was touching Dr. Hart’s side, he curled as much of his tail as he could around the man. His fur crackled with a bit of heat as he started to become warm like a heated towel. It was a talent the arcanine had been able to perfect, using it many a time for Bones in the winter. That man hated the cold. Between his fluff, and the bits of heat, Cooper could create a temperate climate that was easy to enjoy, especially when the person was down in the mouth. Letting his tongue hang out, it showed off more of the reversed ‘R’ scar there, but it was just a sign of content with this human person.
~
Veil sat for a moment in the pile of cushions and eyed the open dojo floor with thoughts that made her happy. She’d wanted to come here before, under happier circumstances, but either way she was here. All this open space, it moved her. Standing up, she hung her arms before her in a circle like fashion, very precise. Then, rising up on the balls of her feet, taking a deep breath she continued to the tips of her toes. Balancing there every so slightly, the pain bothered her too much and she dropped back to a flatfoot stance. It had been so long since she did ballet.

The healer smiled at the canine and he curled up against the warming fur, his eyes began to shut. He remember a time when he used to curled up like this against another arcanine, quiet happily, along with a couple of lucarios, right after very long winder day of lessons and exploring. He burried himself into the fur and he gave just a soft sound as all the pain suddenly came at once when he had relaxed before exhaustion took over and he felt no more.
His breathing was soft and even in no time, it almost disappeared as he become more and more relaxed. He dream of little, but what he did dream of made him smile.

Veil knelt beside the blankets and roll them out to make a bed for herself beside Bones’ limp form. Flopping one blanket on top of the other, she made sure the pile was thick for she disliked greatly sleeping anywhere but a really comfortable bed. Bones was completely the opposite, only sleeping in beds when the odd mood struck him. Tossing another blanket over him for good measure, she flopped down beside him feeling the exhaustion set in.
Looking at him, she nodded before flipping the blankets over herself and snuggling into them. Thoughts of retrieving his sword from the snow crossed her mind, knowing the blade was important…but as soon as her head hit the pillow, her mind went blank and the too joined the trio in the land of the unwoken.
Cooper yawned, revealing a rather intimidating grin before his amber eyes blinked blearily as well. This human had a powerful and lulling heartbeat, and it was like a lullaby to the Pokemon. Laying down he curled more tightly, his mane still snapping and crackling every so often as if for emphasis. The icy wind blew, but would not cut his fur. Ah, the benefits from being a fire type. Soon their breathings matched the same rhythm, as the pair both found dreams to entertain their resting states.

The healer slept soundly and did not wake up until his body cry out for food, dinner had been mostly skip. Yawning widely, his hair was all over the place as he looked around lazily for a moment before he stretched out his arms and made some loud popping sounds with his spine before he collapse against the warm fur. 'Hmmmm...." He peeked over the furball of an arcanine, it was morning, around seven he guessed.
Getting up, he smiled at the dog. "thank you." He murmured hoarsely. He sniffled and walked into the dojo to check on the other two, after that he would have to go back to the house and start making breakfast, probably.

Cooper panted happily, already having been awake for some time, but didn’t move for the sake of Adriel’s rest. Tail wagging, the large canine got up and stretched back and forth before hopping back into the snow. It was starting to melt and was making water. His ears dropped. Ick. Fire and water didn’t mix, he knew this was a fact of his life. Ears perking then, he sensed something was off in the dojo. The temperature from last night, it was higher inside now…he could feel it from the body heat in the distance.
Veil blinked a bit, and yawned a big yawn that her other hand covered. Shifting in the sheets that were now warmed with her residual body heat, she considered staying in them for a moment longer. Then eyes snapping open, she realized where she was and what happened the night before. Rolling to her side, she gazed at the young man beside her on the floor, in a separate pile of blankets. Worry lines relaxing, she tugged the blanket off her legs and kneeled beside him.
Bones hadn’t moved at all, but his breathing seemed even more even and REM cycle like. A little wheezy but it would pass she knew. A small hand rose and patting him on the head, but then worry rose a bit more in her mind. Bones’ face was mildly warm. Moving her hand to his forehead, she searched again and could feel it. Minor fever, yes. Nothing big though, probably just from the shock and the weather. Winter and Bones never got along. A large portion of the season he spent sick. The other half he spent in the snow complaining he’d get sick from it. Vicious cycle was he. Relaxing while still sitting, she tugged the blanket up a bit more around his shoulder and neck. Veil really wanted him to heal faster. She missed him.

The healer stepped in and walked over to them, he rested a hand on Veil as to not startle her too much. "Good morning, Veil." He looked at Bones and chuckled. "Good morning, Bones, even thought you are asleep." He felt his forehead then took his pulse. "He's alright, slight fever, but that's common with blood lose and large wounds." He spoke more out of habit.
"I think we should move him to the house. A bed it better, and the house is better for someone with wounds like this...that...and it has a kitchen. We can let the arcanine into the ballroom."

Veil watched him with kind eyes and slowly nodded. Still no questions asked, was he really that content with strangers? Taking in strays it seemed was a hobby of his. Glancing at the door, she spotted Coopers constant stare, wishing to be with his master. She could feel the heat coming off the fire type, as if he was trying to let them know he wanted in. Whimpering, he confirmed this.
Standing up, she moved over to where the medical bag was still spilled open, and started to slip some of the items back inside. They’d made quite the mess while out here for the night. “I know Cooper would be happy if that happened.” She giggled a bit, just picturing it. “But then, how do you want to go about moving this little party Dr. Hart?”

Adriel seemed to think for a moment as Faraon sat up and yawned widely before stretching. The healer hummed to himself before something seemed to strike him. "Well, easy, I'll move two mattresses into ballroom so we can have Boink here there and.." what did she called the arcanine, copper? No, no...cooper! "Cooper can be as near as he can to his trainer. So I'll leave Bones here for a bit and be back for him once the mattresses are there." He nodded before walking away, for not having coffee, he was awfully chipper. It normally took him an hour to even realize he had a body. This was suspicious, he figure he would crash again in a hour or two.
Going into the house, he found Daniel enjoying a cup of coffee with SongWriter(he was drinking tea) in the kitchen. The young brother watched him, going to look for a mug for him, but the healer had rushed off somewhere else already. "....he's going to crash soon....like a onyx attempting to fly..." He shook his head before he took another sip from his coffee. "Waaaay too chipper" He got a nod from the pidgeot.
Adriel took a mattress from a guest room and grabbed down the ball room, this took about twenty minutes, since it was a king mattress. A single mattress he brought down to the ballroom a moment later only took ten minutes.
Daniel, Faraon and Songwriter took place near the ballroom to watch the healer. All of them following their inner clocks to see who won the bet of how long it would take for him to crash.
He brought pillows and blankets and cover both beds and that's when he took a mug of coffee, taking just a sip before walking back to the dojo. He noted the two grunts were gone, he only could think that Daniel got rid of them by turning them into the police and explaining his rampardos was just doing what she was train to do: Protect the property. In reality, the rampardos could careless, she just wanted to protect Daniel, maybe mommy Adriel for a bit.
He also noted a certain sword, picking it up, he walked back the rest of the way. "Honey, I am baaack!" he called out with a grin at Veil. Of course, he was just joking. Eh....aside for working on his last resort of energy, he might be a bit hyperactive, he suppose.

Veil’s eyes were laced with caution, until she realized who is was that had made the strange and cheery outburst. Her usually doll-like demeanor became split and contorted as she exploded into a chorus of laugher. Grasping at her stomach, tears rimmed her eyes from her amusement. “Oh…oh ahaha.” Sniffling finally she was able to snap out of this stupor she’d been sent into so suddenly. It was a nice surprise.
“Yes Darling, so glad you’re back.” She couldn’t help but chime in with antics. “Shall we put the children to bed?” Tilting her head, she spied Cooper looking in on the dojo floor again. His ears were perked and he was panting away happily. Barking, she smiled at him in return. Of course.

The man watched her with a crooked smile and he chuckled before he carefully picked up Bones. "Aye, aye, m'lady." He began walking down towards the house, grinning like mad. He guide them to a double door around the back of the house. He tapped the glass.
Daniel blinked and peeked into the small ballroom where the mattresses were set up, he walked over to double doors and open them. ".....You haven't crashed yet?"
Adriel blinked a couple of times but just walked over to the mattress and put Bones down. "Noooooooope." He grinned. "I haven't eaten yet, that's why I woke up."
"Ah...well...try not to crash too far away from your bed....you weight 200 pounds, last thing I need is figuring out how to get you to bed."
"195!" The healer called out as he went down the hall to the kitchen.
"Not that far off..." Daniel muttered before looking towards Veil as if she would have an explanation on hand.

Veil was still chuckling to herself, quite contently as she arranged the ragdoll!Bones a bit more on the mattress, setting his sideways arm back to a more normal position. If he was awake, the girl knew it would have hurt a lot. Good thing he was still out. His shirt was all torn up and mangled from the battle before, and the ribbing may have been making it harder from him to breath. Sometimes his clothing was too restrictive to get proper sleep in. Silly boy.
Leaning forwards using once of her fangs, she grasped the fabric circling at his neck and bit a corner enough to make a tear. Ripping it apart with her small hands, it was enough to make the fabric give and open up his breathing range a bit. In his coma state, his chest rose a bit higher almost out of relief, and then fell with him emitting a small sigh. Perhaps making it easier to breath would help the fever pass sooner. Veil might have pulled the whole thing off to assist him more, were she not afraid of hurting his shoulder anymore than it was.
Standing up she reached down and grabbed the blanket she’d carried over while following behind Adriel. Once again tossing it over his limp form she smiled as it fluttered down. Then from the corner of her eye was a blur of orange. Cooper had barreled into the ballroom, nails clicking the floor as he made way in. The last bits of snow evaporated off into steam as he started to skid to a stop, now sitting inches away from Veil. This guy…sometimes she didn’t know what to do with him either. Reaching up as high as she could on her tiptoes, he lowered his bulk a bit for a well deserved pat on the head. Dropping more blankets and pillows to the floor at her feet, he waggled his tail happily. He was helping.

Daniel left after a moment, to look after Adriel, just incase. He watched as healer, like a drunk beedrill, buzzed around busily in the kitchen, making something quick to eat. The man didn't even bother to sit down, but rather passed back and for with a sandwich in one hand and a mug of coffee in the other.
The teenager tried his best to not think the contradictions of waiting to crash while drinking coffee. It took five more minutes of this before Adriel put down an empty mug and looked suddenly weary. Daniel checked his watch and groaned. "Faraon won..." Songwriter hung his head while Faraon grinned widely.
Adriel ignore them as he walked slowly to his room and collapsed into his bed, falling asleep just as he understood what Daniel had said, but was too deep into sleep to shout out in protest.

Cooper was quite happy to be back at his masters side, his loyal heart instantly put at ease. Slipping so slightly onto the kind sized mattress, from his sheer weight Bones slid right up against his massive bulk. Snuggling against him, Cooper sniffed at his pet’s face noticing it was cleaner than before. Nuzzling it, he could still feel the humans fever. Finally lowering his head to lay beside Bones’, Cooper let out a doggie sigh through his nostrils before letting his ears drop. The content puppy was just that.
Veil giggled a bit before walking up the steps to the kitchen area. The gaggle of males all eyed her for a moment as she ran her fingers through crimson hair. “So, he’s dead to the world now too huh?” Smirking a bit in amusement, one of her fangs showed. “I take it this is not a rare event then…” She stated, padding over to the counter to survey for food.
