((Actually I've noticed that smaller dogs seem to have more issues with cats than large dogs. The cat can also be the instigator though. My cat was so evil when she met my sister's dog, who is much smaller than her. Oh SoraKitty, what time would you say it is?))
Reven had not heard the noise of someone approaching and was somewhat caught offguard when the girl spoke. "I think it feels pretty nice, why don't you join me?" He called back, smiling. "I'm sure you'd be a lot better at catching fish than me, they keep slipping between my hands." Reven added slightly embarrassed. He was very hungry by now.
He swam inland a bit to speak with the girl easier. His voice could be strong, but it was never loud. She seems pretty friendly, maybe I won't be a loner here, let's just hope my studies don't suffer. He thought, he had always been smart, almost a genius, although he could never spell the word.
He would be much more comfortable speaking Spanish, but he only spoke a little bit, he understood a whole lot more though, his mother was full Spanish(from Spain).

((You're right, Currupted Dart. My cats always attacked my dog when I first got him. He was smaller than they were. But now, since he's grown and bigger then they are, he's getting his revenge. He traps them in the basement.))

((Actually that is not always true. My cat and dog get along fine, and I just got my dog a couple of weeks ago. But I guess it really depends on the nature of the two animals.))
Charlie smiled brightly and walked over, kicking off her shoes. She plopped herself into the water and waddled further in till it was waist deep. She nodded, satifisy that the male had not been lying to her. The water was warm enough. She did not like the cold. She laughed at his honest comment about the fish. Fishing had never been a problem for her.
"You just have to let them come to you actually," Charlie responded, her eyes flickering to him and then back to the water. She cupped her hands under the water, so it was wetting the sleeves of her shirt and waited for the aquatic animal to swim obliviously above her hands. Instantly, her hands contracted together and brought the fish up. She laughed joyously at the squirming fish.
"I'm Charlie," she introduced beaming. Her hands were still pressed firmly on the fish as she gestured it to him. "You're hungry?"

Reven watched intently as the girl caught the fish with ease. "It's good exercise to chase them, and I like to enjoy this water, it's so clear and fresh, I feel like I could breathe it in like air." He said after the demonstration, he found it good fun to chase them. The chase was the best part in his opinion, even if he was left empty handed.
"Actually my name is Reven Talon, not hungry, but I am hungry." Reven replied, hoping what he said made sense, or at least the false confidence he said it with would make it seem to make sense. The only time Reven was confident was in school, he always excelled at his studies, but in jail you either exceed expectations or you fail, because the expectation was you fail, so he didn't have much of a choice. The courses they took there were rigorous, and if Reven would have had friends he probably would have failed just like everyone else. He's expecting the same thing of this school, and he's half-expecting to fail.

((Well, I figured since we already have Gallant and Emille, it wouldn't be fair for only the guys to have roomie conflicts. Though I think if I had put Sam with Silvia, a werewolf and vampire, that would've gone much worse since from waht I've heard overall the two creatures are enemies or something. sweatdrop
And you people post fast; I need to catch up.
As for my plan; right now RP-wise I"d say it's around 3 pm. When everyone gets their rooms and unpacks and whatnot, once I see everyone caught up I'll swtich it to the next day and make not eof that on the first page. I've still gotta finish all 14 room assingments, so a bit longer on this day. xd ))
Silvia stretched with a yawn, finished watching some episode of American Idol. Ahh, gotta love Simon's evil way of saying someone stinks! She had also completed her nails, and on the spur of hte moment decided to go for a walk through the halls.
Standing up and humming to herself, she slipped her shoes back on, locked hte door behind her, and went for a stroll on the third floor, wondering if she should go mess with the other floors, or at least see who lives in them.
It had all happened so quickly, that it took Kit a moment to realize what had juts happened. She remembered hearing the door open behind her, assuming she had a roommate at last, but before she even got a chance to turn with greeting, she was suddenly met by....strange growling?
Turning quickly, she noticed that this new girl now sunk to her knees. Concerned, Kit tried to get close to help her, the woman suddenly screamed and the scent was finallly familar: wolf.
Kit ahd no problem with wolves, as long as they didn't try to eat her, but she'd never seen a part-wolf GIRL before. This woman must be fighting back natural wolf instincts and meant no harm as far as her human side goes, and Kit thought it best for now to stay back, her heart pounding and unsure of what would happen, until the woman seemed to get hold of herself and stand up shakly.
Asking her if she was ok would probably be a stupid question, so she let teh woman go by and could only nod as the woman turned, her human features still there, spoke and confirmed Kit's guess. The woman then jumped out the window and headed to the forest.
The cat=girl just stood in shock for a moment, not quite sure what to do at this point. So she's my roommate, but if instincts are trying to force otu, that could cause some serious problems. I hope she's alright.....she thought to herself, before, just sitting on the bed for a moment, staying human at the moment incase she came back so suddenly.
The woman turned to the boy (who seemed to be eyeing someone else) and typed in the name to see who she could room him with. "Alright.....you'll be rooming with another boy on Floor 1, Room 2." she answered, taking out the other key and giving it to him. "Make sure to get your schedule upstairs, and dorms are across campus. Next."

Charlie paused as she took in his explanation about chasing fish. She never chased them actually. It never occurred to her to play with her food. She wasn't a cat, so maybe that was why she never had fun with her meal. She dipped the fish back into the water and watched as he swam away quickly.
"The water is beautiful," she breathed softly, scooping the liquid into her hand and watching the way the light from the sun reflected on the water. "But it is much more amazing at night."
She loved the moonlight, it enhanced all the colors and shadows of the dark. The moonlight could easily uncovered all the secrets that were hidden in any place.
Actually my name is Reven Talon, not hungry, but I am hungry. Charlie chuckled and squinted her eyes to look at him. The sun's glare was strong. "You're funny," she commented as she waddled back to shore. She hoisted her wet self onto the bank and sat underneath the sunlight so her clothes could dry.
"So what are you doing out here for? Shouldn't you be back at the dorms making friends?" Charlie questioned, flicking water with her feet.

[[To be straightforward i DO know my character and that comment on page 7 had a tone of venom to it. Sam's been around Wolves her whole life and the sudden cat smell brought her instincts out. (not to mention she's a full-breed) Its similar to throwing a starving fat man into a room of hotdogs.]]
Sam's energy ran out and she slowed to a trot before finally stopping, her tongue lolled out of her mouth and she panted heavily, the She-Wolf was happy to be free and Sam was relieved that the hostility had disappeared. She sneezed twice and lumbered forward to no where in particular; her ears perked at the occasional bird and the scratching of squirrels. The Wolf lifted her head and felt the breeze run through her fur like fingers, a faint scent drifted past her and her heart leapt at what it was. WOLF! There was another werewolf here? Sam could hardly control herself and she ran as her nose led the way.
Coming to a light jog her ears picked up two voices, male and female; the female voice was no doubt Wolf but Sam couldn't quite place the male's. She trotted forward until she reached a pleasant lake, the water smelt like fish but thirst won out and she dipped her head down to the water and lapped it up quietly.
Still drinking her ears picked up bits of the duo's conversation, something about Salmon and hungry. She lifted her head and debated whether or not she should introduce herself.

Sarah shook her head mutely. "No, I've never seen him before," she said. She stayed silent for the rest of the trip over to the dorms - it was fine to just listen to Gallant talk. He'd certainly had an interesting life. When they reached the second floor, Sarah stopped outside Room 5. "This is my room," she said. "Thanks for helping me carry my stuff." Sarah unlocked the door and opened it, but paused in the doorway. "Where's your room?" *** "Thank you," Jasper said with a smile. Not evil, for once. He'd just gotten his feathers ruffled, that was all. This school still provided plenty of opportunities. Jasper went upstairs to gather his papers and noticed the girl with the staff getting ready to head back down. ((I think Akane's still there, if I'm wrong and you're already gone, correct me.)) She seemed to be dreading the prospect of going back downstairs with the heavy staff. Jasper smiled and went up to her. "Hi, I'm Jasper," he said. He gestured at the staff. "Need any help managing the stairs?"

((Darn a room-mate xD hopefully he likes music.))
"Everything is better at night, while I was on the run I was sleeping during the day and awake at night." Reven hoped that Charlie would not inquire on the running, he feared he had said too much already. Reven swam closer to shore and began to walk over to Charlie.
You're funny. At this Reven could only smile, words had never been good on him, and he was more use to ignoring compliments, but since these were from a woman he had listened.
To Charlie's question Reven responded, "I could ask you the same thing, but if you must know, I'm not really use to making friends...I have a..." Reven was trying his best to put it into words, "...a disease, called introversion." He finished, he did not want to talk about his time in jail, what kind of person would want to be friends with a murderer?
He sat down next to her and began fixing his hair, so it would no longer be going back. He was wondering where he put his shirt. He really didn't care too much, he didn't have anything to be ashamed of, he had a tight muscularity about him, not bulky at all. His body couldn't handle bulky muscle though, he had long arms and legs, and a shortish upper body, although most people didn't notice unless he showed how long his limbs really were. He was also slightly tanned, due to his Spanish blood on his mother's side, Mediterraneans always tanned easily. His hair was rather messy now because of the swim, but it was pushed to the right in the front, and curled slightly in the back, it had always bothered him, he loves his straight hair, but when it gets too long it hits against his back and curls. He intended to get that cut as soon as possible.
Edit: Reven looked passed Charlie to see someone lapping up water, he was near-sighted and could not see her. He had never gotten his eyes checked so glasses weren't ever going to happen. He was curious as to who it was, or what it was. The lapping of the water was very loud though, could it have been a wolf? He shuddered at the thought of a wolf so forward as to drink next to people, since usually they would keep there distance, or so he read.
((sorry I didn't see the post))

Charlie had been watching the movements of the water as Reven was talking. The way it sway to the wind and how ripples formed underneath her touch was quite fascinating. She picked up her head when he mentioned about his uncertainty when making friends. Making friends had never been a problem with her, she talked randomly with everyone, literally. Even with the homeless around her block.
"Then I can be your first best friend," she beamed. His terms were confusing, she did not do that well is school. But it didn't matter, she wouldn't be prejudice against people just because they had some condition. It never got in the way.
She reached out and grabbed a strand of his hair, eyes glowing with intensity. "You have long hair," she commented, curling in between her fingers. It was brown, a colored that she loved.
Her eyes flashed as she sniffed the air subtly. She dropped her hand and twitched to her left. There was another wolf...Charlie's eyes narrowed slightly. Wolves were territorial by nature, it was only natural that Charlie felt a stab of frustration. But she managed to smiled pleasantly at the other wolf.

Reven could only smile when she made the comment about being his first best friend. Then his uncle came to his mind, "Well not the first, my uncle sorta beat you there, but second is even better." He added.
You have long hair. Reven repeated back to himself. Then felt his hair being touched. So this is what normal flirting is? He asked himself. "Errm yeah I intend to get it cut soon, or at least trimmed, I'm not a big fan of short hair, but this is a little excessively long." He replied, he was a bit caught up in his thoughts. This was his first experience just hanging out with a girl, well in gradeschool he did, but it's not like gradeschoolers are all that interesting, no diversity really shows up until they hit Jr. High.
Reven barely caught the flash in Charlie's blue-gray eyes, and was forced to ask, "Is there something wrong Charlie?" It was probably useless for him to say this, since he already had a pretty good idea, but he did anyway. He was not aware that Charlie was a wereling, so all he really thought was that Charlie was afraid of wolves, ...But she had not seen it, maybe the sound...

Saki walked through the campus, smiling, like she always does when she's not alone. She walked to the fountain. Maybe if I just stay here someone will talk to me, she thought. She had never been the kind of person to start conversations. She leaned against the fountain and scanned the crowd.

Sam could sense that they knew she was there, the female's body went rigid and Sam slowly crept forward, ears down so as not to give off the wrong signal. She slouched lower to ground and whined a message of neutrality. As Sam approached she got a better look at the male; brown hair, lean, and attractive. The female definitely wolf however Sam sensed that something was little different about this particular canine.
She stepped gingerly in front of the duo, about twenty paces away, and sat on her haunches studying them both. The She-Wolf yawned and lay down, her gold eyes observed them closely and she approached on her belly. Not in submission or dominance, just a friendly hello. Sam prayed this wolf could read her. The last thing she wanted to do in her new home was make enemies, she already had enough.

Reven watched the approaching wolf closely and let out a slight laugh as it seemed friendly. "I think the wolf wants to play." He commented, going over to where the wolf was and reaching out to pet it. As he closed in he noticed something odd about the wolf and pulled his hand back. He remembered what the acceptance letter had said and was afraid to treat a student like a pet. "Errm you aren't a student right?" He asked scared that he may seem like an idiot.
Reven had excellent reflexes, but he learned not to overestimate his ability. A time on the run he had actually had a gun pointed at him, and he thought he could dodge the bullet, maybe if he was more trained in his ability that would have been possible, but at that time he was shot in the shoulder, after he took out the shooter, but he nearly bled to death. He was rushed to the emergency room, and that was how his parents found him.

Sam's head rose in invitation to pat her but when he pulled back she pawed the air and shook her head. How could she make these people realize she was a student? The She-Wolf looked about her then stood on all fours, shaking her mane she pushed at the ground so she could stand on just her hind legs. She hopped up to them in the best human movement a wolf could make, she dropped just in front of the duo and looked form the female to the male.
She wanted to change. Was almost tempted to, but she had no clothes and there wasn't any place big enough to hide her human frame. Stumped as to what she should do she plopped to the ground with a thump and lay her head on her paws, looking back and forth between them.
