James threw his arm around her, "Not letting you get away!" He grinned, "To the thestrals!" he said, pointing in the general direction of the carriages.
James could see the thestrals, but he pretended that he didn't.

Tom could see the undead horses, and she knew that James knew she could. Her life was no secret after all. "Aww, and there I thought I had lost you." She smiled and stuck out her tongue, squinting as she laughed. She boarded one of the carriages and sat in the middle of the bench just to be annoying.

James sat down and pulled her into his lap, he tried not to look at the thestrals, as he had done every year. "really creepy, aren't they?"

Tom shrugged. "Could be worse, at lest they are tame." she said smiling. She did not mind them; it was just that seeing them reminded her of the event that led her to be able to see them. “I’m scarier than them.” She grinned and leaned against him.

"You know it." she laughed. "This year is going to be even better than last. I have so many new things to test, and so many ideas to make." she toyed with the collar of hid shirt absentmindedly.

He grinned, "Can't wait," he said, touching his nose to hers. "I promise, I'll distract the prefects while you do it," he winked.

"That's so sweet of you." She smiled and kissed his cheek, then leaned her head against his shoulder, watching the forest's edge move past. “But you know I would have made you whether you wanted to or not right?” She sighed contently.

Gabi had silently watched as the two horsed around. They seemed to forget she was there, which saddened her a bit. As she she watched them she began to wonder if they were in love, but the girl back home was keeping the two of them apart. Smirking a little to herself she heard the password to the bathroom and she figured it would come in handy.
Still unnoticed she slipped in to the carriage with them. She couldn't help but feel that she was watching something she shouldn't. Then another weird feeling came over her, jealousy. But of what and of who?

Abigail nodded and smiled at Professor Goldbrow as he left the compartment. After he left she walked off of the train and towards the carriages. She couldn't see the thestrals, but she knew they were there. Abigail sat in a carriage and thought about the upcoming school year.

James nodded, "I am sweet," he replied, "And I know." he then looked up and saw Gabi. His face lit up a bit, "Hey there!"

Tom rolled her eyes and glanced over at Gab. "Hey There." She said trying to mimic James. Then she sat up to look at his face. "what did you have for breakfast?" She asked her mind had wandered a little to far. "I had a everything bagel, cream cheese, A cup of coffee, and a tangerine. She laughed and tugged at his ear lobe.

James smiled, "I didn't have breakfast today," he replied, "Woke up too late." he tilted his head away from her, smiling although his gaze was on Gabi.

"You did not have breakfast?" She asked. "But breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Hasn't your gram told you that?" She smirked and leaned her back against his chest, while she tilted her head back to rest on his shoulder. She sighed softly he made a very comfy chair, even if he could be a little annoying.
