I have a slight crush on a soon-to-be section member. He's switching back to trombone from flute. He fell in love with the trombone after playing it in concert band for a semester, then switched back to the flute in marching season due to lack of self-confidence. Since he's ******** tired of the flute, he's going to spend the rest of his high school career as a trombonist. I think he'll be a great trombonist. C:

qkitteh Xx_gircupcakes_xX lol yes i do and were dating hes a second trumpet and hes a year older than me hes a sophmore and im a freshman lol but hes amazing.. lol who knew a flute and trumpet wud fall in love...? heart heart lol, piccolo and tuba. never thought i'd say i fell in love with a tuba player. we unfortunatelly broke up... crying

you're not alone, band relationships are very normal. i'm currently on my 1st bf but he's not in mb so that's kinda odd for my band but i do have a crush on mb alumni.

yeah, he plays 2nd trumpet. He has, like, the softest hair! i don't know how he does it! and he's adorable!
but i'm staring to get over it. i mean what would a junior want anything to do with a freshman...whatever. we friends though, so it's cool

omg this is a perfect topic for me.... ive had a crush on a guy in our marching band since band camp..... im in love with him...no lie. Ive waited on to stop dating his no X that he has been dating for almost 3 years.... oh! and he plays the trombone, like me! and then... i thot i had a chance...but then he started dating a flute player... just my luck... and all my friends r telling me to get over him...

airplanes in the fog I have a crush on one of the guys on the drumline. Lordy, he's so hot. He plays the tenors. *dies* And here's me on marimba at the front in the pit, sadly unable to turn around to stare... Oh no! Haha. I like someone too in the drumline too, but Im in 7th grade, and hes in 8th grade. He plays snare (and is really good at it), and I play third bass. I haven't had a chance. . .scratch that. . . the guts to talk to him, except for music stuff. Man is he fine!!! wink

I had a crush on this freshmen (since I am one and playing saxophone) in the Trumpet Section... o//o He's an asian, and him and 2 other trumpets (besides a sophmore) are the only trumpet freshmen in the band. But ow me and the trumpet asian are goin' out! ;D But... I do have a crush on the Trombone Senior..

I have a crush on the third chair french horn and I'm fourth chair! He is so sweet and funny! Everytime we seee each other he picks on me and flirts, but I have no guts to ask him out! (He is also in high school and I'm in junior high!)

 I've had a crush on freshman, junior, and senior trumpets, a sophomore trombone, and I've dated a boy on the drumline. ._. Right now I have a crush on the drum major. And it's going pretty well I'd say. :] Ahh, band romance heart

I do. ^^ He's a percussionist, quints, for marching and he plays barrie sax for concert. i play flute for marching and oboe for concert. {odd combo of instruments for a couple dont you think}He's a junior and I'm a freshman and he likes me bak, but unfortunatly... He has a gf. : (

I have quite a few.
-One is my best friends trumpet playing brother, and I wouldn't live it down if I did date him.
-The other is the first guy's best friend and trumpet section leader. Both are seniors.
-Then there is the bass clarinet player, who has been dating the other sophomore clarinet for nearly a year now, if not longer.
-And then our amazing baritone player who looks more like a senior but is a sophomore, but he tends to be stubborn and mean when it comes to his opinions.
-Then the tuba player who used to play trumpet,
-and of course the freshman flute player who is as much of a band geek as me.

Throughout marching season, I had a crush on one of our baritone players (there's only two). He asked me out about a month ago, and asked me how long I had liked him. He had actually liked me since marching season also. It was great because I was also with him since I play a trombone, and the second trombone player moved, so now I spend a lot of time with him now.
