Zicoxite Nitemare Shadows Unromantic_Phantom VerandiDarkstar Kitsune Ookami today in the car with my friends, my mom was playing the 1st CD of the movie soundtrack and i was squealing and swooning over GB's voice ^^ I know the feeling. One of the 2 CDs is usually always in my car. I sit at red lights listening to my Angel of Music sing me Music of the Night...and I drift off into a marvelous fantasy. cough+I superimpose myself over Christine+cough. xd Ditto...Except that I'm listening to the original cast with MC singing the part of the phantom. It's just my voice preference. I agree. I don't really think that GB has a really good voice. I mean, it's not bad, or anything, but I just like MC singing it.....and Sarah singing Christene. I'm sorry, but Gerard Butler is a terrible singer. TERRIBLE! I just can't stand it. When he doesn't sound completely forced and like he has a severe head cold or yawning, he sounds like he's gargling! Somebody had a lot of chocolate milk and peanut butter before filming, not that he would sound much better if he hadn't. His only vocal experience was a garage band, he's never been trained to sing without abusing his throat, and his voice is absolutely terrible. Singing-wise, he might be able to pull off Joseph Buquet on a good day. domokun .......but, I was being forced to listed to my little sister's Willam Hung CD while posting that....and, almost EVERYBODY is better than Willam Hung. But now, with my mentally sane music, I can agree with you.... Lol, that put the really bad picture of Willam Hung singing the Phantom's part in my head.

I can go well into the male range, and my upper range is decent enough that I can sing soprano except for the high notes. They just never give good parts to altos. It's always the sopranos who get the solos. Stupid prima donna in chorus....She could play Carlotta and wouldn't even have to do any acting... *excuse the bitter grumbling*

It's just that I can never hit the high notes...meanwhile that witch girl takes all of the good parts in chior even if they are within my range and I try out for them...No, the teacher wants the soprano to have the solo part. Change the altos from singing the melody (which we rarely get to do) just so your precious sopranos can continue to sing the damn thing. Don't bother making them learn something new. No, give the hard part to the altos, and then ignore them when they try to tell you they don't know the part...*once again excuse the bitter grumbling*

I love bursting out in song just randomly but I think that everyone is planning to send me to the place with the padded walls soon because I do it so often... xd But oh well! One day they will experience the greatness of POTO and I will laugh in my cell while the nurses try to cram pills down my throat!
