It's going to be carmen's 18th birthday in 2 days and there will be a ball for all vampiers so your family is invited to attend.
Carmen got a cold chill when she heard the word birthday she knew there would be a party but not a ball again this was just a ploy to get her married again.

Alice's thoughts began to race once more. She took a step back from Darwin, and turned to look at Carmen. " So I thought my family was dead or almost dead, because you don’t want to get married?" She hissed. " I don't think I’m going anywhere, just bring Jasper to me, and I might not rip everyone's heads off here and now."

She thought it lightly, as if the words could float.
