I'm Guilty.

Ha ha rolleyes
I was watching a show in discovery health a long ways back, about women who DIDN'T know they were pregnant until they delivered the baby...
How do you totally not recognize you're pregnant....unless you're totally stupid

I actually saw some headline or something about that recently, where a mom and her teen girl walked into the hospital with stomach pains and was shocked when she had a baby.
It's called "Pregnancy Denial Syndrome," or something like that.

All I say is "Failure. Failure of Epic Proportions."
It's a form of Cotard's Syndrome, por lo visto (apparently)

I don't get it. ninja
(Usually I'd try to segway back to the conversation topic, but this is about pregnancy, this is eseentially your thread, and I'd hardly suggest coming up with more names at this point, so let the tangents flow!)

silent_death_is_loud All I say is "Failure. Failure of Epic Proportions." It's a form of Cotard's Syndrome, por lo visto (apparently) Failure: the state or condition of not meeting a desirable or intended objective. Epic: very imposing or impressive; surpassing the ordinary (especially in size or scale) Proportions: A part considered in relation to the whole. Probably the thing that confused you::
Cotard's syndrome or Cotard's delusion comprises any one of a series of delusions ranging from the fixed and unshakable belief that one has lost organs, blood, or body parts to believing that one has lost one's soul or is dead. In its most profound form, the delusion takes the form of a professed belief that one does not exist.

Ah.
I remember a Scrubs episode where they fail to save a patient in the opening minutes and you see a man in a medical gown saying "And I knew they couldn't save me .. I died." So, it looks like he 's the dead patient. But then J.D. walks up to the guy and tels him he's alive. Stinting Heather Graham as Molly Clock walks up and says it's a symptom of a condition of some kind. Scrubs is known for callback jokes and this one was good for quite a few.

My favorite medical 'fake' shows
Scrubs House ER
I don't really like Grey's Anatomy
Favorite REAL medical shows:
Pretty much everything on Discovery Health...except for the baby things..... In my opinion, who wants to watch some poor lady give birth?
Sorry if I offended anyone, lol

Grey's Anatomy has too much romance in it for me.
Don't anybody expect me to begin watching baby shows....
