"And what about you, eh?" he asked. "Good sense of humour...guys should be lining up just to even say hi." he added.
Well, she said the same to him pretty much. So, he wanted to see her reaction to the same question.

Abigail's blush deepened slightly. "W-Well....I've been asked out by guys....a lot actually.." She said, then paused for a second. "..But I've turned them down. They're always only interested in one thing. They don't even want to take the time to get to know me." She sighed and took another sip of water.

Cameron took a sip of water, listening to her.
"I see." he said. "Yeah, that's pretty much how it goes." he added.
"Same with a few girls, too." he said. "You'd actually be surprised."
He looked out the window for a minute, thinking of something else to say.

"Yeah...it seems like its hard to find anyone who wants to have a decent conversation with you, and who actually likes you for you..." Abigail said. She twirled a strand of her hair around her finger as they sat in silence for a minute.

"Heh, yeah." Cam said, taking another sip of water. One thought kept passing through his mind.
"What the hell was that?" he asked, talking about the steambot.
"I've never seen anything like that before...and it was trying to kill me." he added.

"It was some type of robot." Abigail told him. "I wonder what it wanted in the first place, if it wanted anything. It could've just been malfunctioning or something..." She said.

"Oh no, it wasn't malfunctioning." Cameron said, shaking his head.
"I've worked with this stuff for a while. That was its task. It was hellbent on killing me. It fired a spike right at me, then it charged after me." he said.
He went a little pale. "It's a strange feeling, knowing that not only did you almost die, someone wants you dead." he said quietly.

"Oh, you've never dealt with someone wanting you dead before?" Abigail said. "That doesn't surprise me. Yeah, its not a good feeling, knowing someone wants you dead. You have to extra careful and alert..." She sighed. "It gets annoying after awhile... I wonder why someone would want you dead though...." She said looking at him. "You did something to piss someone off." She said, "I wonder what though...?"

"Well..." Cam started, leaning his chair back a little.
"I did buzz a few houses on my flight, may have caused some people to be rudely awakened, and hit a church, then crashed into the town square's fountain." he said.
"But still, that was fast. If that was the reason..." he stopped, going pale again.
"Do you remember...that telepathic message?" he asked.

Abigail nodded. She thought of it and it sent a shiver down her spine. "Yeah...how could I forget it?" She said, sipping on her water.

"I know." Cameron said, also taking a drink.
"But what if the steambot and the message are related?" he asked.
"I mean...that's too crazy of a coincidence. No one can call that a coincidence." he said. He shook his head. "Why me?" he asked no one in particular.

"Someone is purposely doing this." Abigail said. She sighed, setting her glass down. She didn't have a clue of what was going on or why, and that bugged her. She didn't like mysteries. She liked to know everything that was going on and why so she could stop it. Right now, she felt blind, like she couldn't do anything.

Cameron nodded, finishing off his glass of water.
"The scariest part..." he started, still quiet. He was feeling rather scared, actually.
"The scariest part is that the person is telepathic...how am I supposed to get rid of someone that can know if I'm coming after him before I even left my house?" he asked. "And if he can read my mind..." he shook his head.

Abigail sighed. "I have no clue...." She told him. She sighed and set her head down on the table. When he put it that way, he made it sound like there was no hope.

Cameron sighed as well, looking out the window.
"Oh well. Tired?" he asked, seeing her rest her head on the table.
He was trying to think of a better conversation topic than the recent attempt on his life.
