"My name's Marik, Marik Lancing,"he said, his voice was still strained as he said the response before continuing,"I guess I can go to your house." He closed his eyes and pressed a hand to his chest to control his ragged breaths. He felt sick to his stomach but blocked it off quickly. Coughing, he took a slow deep breath so that he didn't have a repeat preformance of what got him there to begin with.

Alice also heard Marik's theory and stayed completely still as Anastasia ran out of the room. Wait what? That's just plain weird and completely strange. I have a HUMAN relative? That is so not normal. even for a vampire. Alice jumped up and walked into the room Carlisle, Anastasia, and Marik were in and stood behind Anastasia. " Carlisle... Jasper and Rosalie should be here soon, i think we have A LOT to talk about..." She whispered, still hiding behind Anastasia.

Marik looked up as Alice walked in and his breath caught in his chest. He was so stunned that he was forgetting to breathe and was starting to get dizzy. He forced himself to take a breath and ended up coughing when the breath was too deep. Wheezing for breath he looked at his aunt still stunned. "Br-breathe,"he muttered to himself, unaware that the vampires could hear him,as he struggled to inhale as his asthma flared up again.

Anastasia stood from her seat in Carlisle's office. "Carlisle, what in the Volturi's name where you thinking?! Telling someone from our school!" She was talking fast and through clenched teeth. "We don't need the Volturi comeing here! You know they wouldn't leave until everyone of us is burned to ashes!" Anastasia walked over to a large bookself. Her hands were in fist as she tried to relax them, she pulled a book out of place and threw it at Carlisle's feet. "Those are the monsters these humans fear, we don't need them here." The book opened perfectly to the page where all three of them stood together. "Aro, Marcus, and Caius are not to come here. You know what we'll have to do if they find out."

 Carlisle smiled at Alice warmly; after all it was her family member that had just been discovered. Suddenly, Anastasia was screaming and she looked angry. Carlisle remained quiet. He knew nothing would be helped if he lost his temper as well. When she threw one of his books to the ground to the Volturi, Carlisle picked it up and closed it. When she was done, Carlisle walked slowly toward her, saying: "Anastasia, he has a right to know. Alice is his aunt; his only family remaining. I didn't want to tell you like this, Alice, but he says his mother- your sister- has died. As for the Volturi, I wouldn't worry about it. Plenty of exceptions have been made." Carlisle replaced the book on the bookcase, carefully arranging them in the order they were before. He sighed, and turned to face his daughters. "His name is Marik. He already knew. Anyway, he doubted it was the truth. I couldn't tell the child he was wrong." He finished.

Alice stared at Carlisle in shock. " That's...wow." She uttered, shaking her head. She peeked around Anastasia, whom she was standing behind, and looked at Marik. " Hi" She said with a small smile. " Were is Jasper when i need him?" She said quietly enough so only her family could hear.

Marik looked at Alice still in shock. "Hey,"he said breathlessly, he was still dizzy and felt sick to his stomach as he took it all in. Closing his eyes, he put his head down, trying to calm his wheezing breaths and trying to make sure his asthma flare up stayed a flare up and didn't go into a full-blown asthma attack.

"I'll be fine,"Marik said, still keeping his head down,"It's just alot to take in." He brought his inhaler up to his lips and took a slow ragged breath of the medicine before exhaling slowly.

Anastasia went and sat in a corner of the office. SHe had her knees pulled to her chest and her face hidden with her long hair. "I really need jasper at this point." She felt the depression she'd suffer coming back to her. After the outburst she also felt like Rosalie.

Carlisle listened closely to Marik's breath. His throat sounded clear; perhaps he was only in slight shock. "Yes, Alice, he'll be okay." Carlisle assured her with a smile. Anastasia had buried herself in a corner under her hair and emotions. Carlisle hoped she would be okay. He glanced at Marik for a moment before going to Anastasia. He put a hand on her shoulder before saying softly. "I'm sorry if I've offended you. I shouldn't have acted like I did. You're right, I puteverybody in danger. Will you accept my apology?" He asked her.

"I'm sorry,"Marik said with a slight wheeze before looking down,"This is all my fault." He felt his throat constrict as he coughed and wheezed for breath. "Sorry for interfearing with your lives,"he paused suddenly breathless from talking so much, he coughed a couple of times before finishing his sentance,"I should probably leave now." With those words spoken, he turned to leave the room when a coughing fit hit him and left him leaning against the doorway struggling greatly to draw breath.

 Alice bolted over to Marik, grabbing him-carefully- by the shoulder " oh no you don't! You, sir, are not going anywhere. Not now anyway, and certainly not in the kind of shape you're in. We have... A lot to discuss." She said, dropping her hand. She turned to Anastasia, “ I think we all need Jasper right now, I think everything is setting in now… I’m starting to feel a little shocked now.”
