Darza was a man of patience and was even better at remembering every word spoken to him. He gave little thought to the one Rouchlos said was called Susanoo. The name had been mention many hundreds of years a ago by the King himself. The King was quite...angry and pleased at the same time at the time the name was being spoken, but other than that, Darza knew nothing more and care not to learn anything else. A troublesome male rider was expendable, however, the female rider caught Darza attention.
Maero's name would be forever ingrain into his memory. He had heard of her kind of rider, after all, he was the same. Well to a degree... She was clearly pure and summoned a dragon to her side, where he summoned a beast from the shadows that was anything but a dragon. Dragons had always been know for being the creatures of heaven, God's most cared and loved pets. He was simple her opposite.
"How well can she summon her dragon to her side," question Darza intently? He was sure that Maero would peek the King's interest and that she would soon be taken in. It seems that the past 500 years have given birth to quite a wide variety of appealing things and people.

"Her spell takes a grate toll on her body, and she needs the magic veins to have enough power to pull her dragon into this existance. thought she did that just a few hours ago, and as far as i can tell her best is still standing strong and hole in her pin right now." Rouchlos continues. his face was calm as he spoke. HE didn't like where this was going but he had made a oath, and sword his life to the king and his word was one thing that he would never brake he just hoped Mearo would survive, and forgive him in time. "She didn't pass out from her spell but she was not able to move much for a few moments after her summoning was complete."

"If that is so," started Darza with frown," then why is her dragon still in our realm. Such actions would be one that was new to summoning or didn't have a large amount of magic. Perhaps both."

"Eventually, her dragon will subside Durza. I just dont know when, or why she is till holding it in her this place. She is not new to this type of life, probably the only reason being that her life has been a life of a scavenger. searching for veins that would allow enough power to bring it into existance... but that is all i know." Rouchlos comments softly, sitting back a little bit wishing he had more to offer but even so after a few hours this was a lot of information. Running his hand over his chin Rouchloos was running the last few moments the three of them had on that river bank. wondering if he had missed anything. "Durza..." He starts off. "Is it possible to contain magic like the veins inside a stone?"

Gwen started cursing after the door was closed. There was only one request that she had at the moment and it was that she wanted her dragon here with her. After a few hours, she had calmed down enough to try practicing some spells that Relena had taught her. "Move Tersha," she said, focused on a rose across the room. A few seconds pasted before the rose was lifted out of the crystal vase. She moved her hand, motioning for the rose to go in a circle before going over to her on the king-sized bed.

((I'm confused, in the Dragon Chambers, or the rest of the cave? Shall we stay in the Dragon Chambers?))
Maero watched Ryoka leave before turning to Kat and she shrugged, feeling the warmth of his hand through her tunic. "I'll be honest, I'm ...unsure of my next step. Events are twisting around me, I'm a stranger displaced in time. Allies look like enemies and enemies look like allies, How would you feel?" "I'm fairly hungry now, but too wired to be sleepy." she chuckled.
The girl then decided to rejoin her dragon at her side. Unaware of Rouchlos's departure. Rarely did she get to be in physical contact with her life companion, she would relish every moment. She sat contently between Eleniel forelegs, seated on her smooth scales and leaning against her warm plumage and broad armor.
Eleniel suddenly stiffened, Maero looked up at her confused, but the dragon wasn't paying her attention, she was looking at Sulfur. ~What are you doing that for? Presenting yourself to Tenchi?~ she asked, prodding the mental question privately to the emerald green dragon.
It seemed odd, Eleniel licked the air, now pungent with her kin race sister's scent. What was she doing?
Time passed, and Ryoka returned a few times, talking to them, but there was a now underlying tension ot his voice, and it only got more obvious every time he returned from..wherever he was coming from elsewhere in this...this place.
Maero was still fairly hungry, and food had no arrived yet. Perhaps a delay? But then..she felt it. The spell binding link that ran from Maero's body to her dragons, the flow of magic began to fade. The surging charge that maintained Eleniels presence in this physical plane was slipping... ~" Maero-!"~
"No!... no! you can't stay with me! just a little longer?..please?!" She begged and begged her dragon- but knew it was no use. Katsuhiro would watch as the dragon began to fade, and look more and more translucent, her shape becoming ghostly, soon you could see the wall of the den behind her, the sand beneath her brilliant claws. Maero clung to her long soft smooth snout for as long as she could.
~"I'm sorry little one...but so not weep, you are safe, and getting stronger every day, once day, these visits between us will be much longer, and I'll be able to fly with you for days..."~
"One day...one day's too far away... I'm too weak of a rider to support you. Not without aid."
~" Being new, is nothing to be ashamed of. The future holds endless possibilities."
Maero pulled away a little, looking into the ever disappearing shape of Eleniels iridescent eyes. Tiny light floated off of the dragons form and disappeared into nothing. "..I love you."
~" And I you lil one, keep me close...in your dreams.."~
And just like that..she was gone. Not even her scent remained, the rune etching returned to Maero's face, under her left eye, which returned to it's odd color of iridescent blue. Eleniel had once again fused with her, leaving the resonating link behind in her wake to the other side.
A moment passed, and Maero looked towards Kat, "Heh, some rider huh? This is the longest I've had her at my side."

Kat watched Eleniel fade away. he slowly walked to where Maero was, ordering Tenchi to take the room across from where Eleniel was. as he got close to Maero, he dropped down onto one knee and gently rubbed her back, he smiled at her softly.
"Magic is finicky, little one, It ebbs and flows randomly and no one is completely sure how it works. Perhaps it's like anything else, practice makes perfect, When I got out of Statis, many of my Wind powers had been lost to me."
He looked over at Sulfur, and around the room, to make sure Rouchlos wasn't there "Perhaps it's for the best...something seems amiss here, Rouchlos has disappeared and the doors leading out are shut. The air smells like Sulfur...Things are not going the way Rouchlos planned. We should get out of here as soon as we are able...While this place is safe from outside attacks, what happens when the enemy is inside?"
Kat shook his head and stood up, walking over to Tenchi "Maybe i'm thinking too much, viewing the world with the pessmistic eye...Why don't you stay with Tenchi and me? He's not as soft as Eleniel, but he's loyal and compassnaite, and i'm sure he'd like someone new to talk to."

((Suddenly my roleplay skills seem so...so...novice...lol.))
((@Tsubasa: I believe you are in the dragon chambers currently. Morti can answer that one better for me. I will ask Morti to have the cave opened up to you both, but there will be one part clearly locked off for the moment. You can fill in the gaps as for why. Don't worry, as I said to Alexander, things will start up shortly for you two. Brom will be coming back very soon and Maero and Kat will soon have a new comer around them... twisted ))
(( I am innocent...honestly!!!))
Darza looked in the direction of Rouchlos guest riders. He felt Maero's dragon vanished and returned to the other realm it came from. He didn't looked back to Rouchlos as he spoke, "You should know that magic is not always what it appears. There is so much of it that you can do so much with. I personally have never tried to do what you say for I have no obvious need of it."
Back in the chambers that Maero and Kat's were waiting in, the stone that was attached to Eleniel dropped to the ground. The moment it touched the cave floor a strong pulse emitted from it that had anything with a very good sense of hearing jerking their heads up with eyes searching about. The stone turned to dust instantly after the pulse, leaving no traces of what it was before.
Darza was practically jumping from his seat as the pulse entered their room. His fingers were cracking the wooden arms of his seat as he sat back down. He may not know what that was but he did know it was something made from a very good magic user. "I see now," spoke Darza," of what you spoke. I think it is time you returned to guest's, we will be having a visitor, if not more, shortly." Darza's form began to waver and disappear in a black fog that was rolling out of the room. "Be sure not to raise questions from Susanoo or Maero. Do what ever it takes to ease their worries or fears but keep the section that the King and his guests will be staying in off limits. I am sure you think of some reasonable and unstandable excuse if the need arises."
*Elsewhere*
Brom was patching up a cut on his arm that one of the damn elves had done with one of their swords. It was a graze at best but it was always the smallers wounds that hurt the most in his opinion. Paper cuts being the worst!!
He was successful in beating them back into their wooden safe heaven, though he didn't know how long that would last. Knowing the elves, not very long. He gave a whistle into the desert air surrounding the Bullridge and soon his faithful horse came. He was about to pull himself up into the saddle, ready to search for the two new riders, when the pulse from his stone sent him reeling back.
"Son of a...." yelled out Brom. He was in rush when he made the stone and didn't give near as much time as he should have on tuning down the beeken call it gave off once the magic in it was drain. That, and matters didn't help that he had a spell to increase his hearing tenfold to make sure he could hear it when it sounded off. Luckily he had time to put certain safety features on it so he was fairly sure that not just anyone hear the beeken. "Well, I know where they are now...to a degree..." Even so, he was going to wait a bit untill his ears didn't sound like they had a battle horn going off in them. He was sure that they didn't need any assists at the moment anyway.

After the pulse Rouchlos was sitting still, a little to still. his hands were clenched so tight his nails were starting to draw blood from his skin. even a small trail of it could be seen as the liquid made its way to the ground. his head was ringing lightly almost like he was shell shocked from the magic that was released. Hearing Durza's words his body relaxed just enough for him to nod o the vanishing man and get to his feet. "As you command lord Durza." Rouchlos comments in his calmest voice. with his fist placed over his left chest he gives a gentle bow before taking his first shaky steps. 'That, was not a fluke.,,, is that how Maero's dragon always vanishes? a signal like that seams way to powerful for a magic that was waning..."Who was that intended for? did it reach its target? was the person friend or foe? when will he arrive?" With that train of thought rolling through his head Rouchlos started making his way back to the Dragon Chambers. Meeting Royka along the way he took a short moment to converse with his second.
"Send out our recruiters, i have a feeling that our ranks will need to be bolstered. and soon." Is the last bit of instruction that Rouchlos Leaves the dazed Royka before he enters the dragons chambers.
Sulfurs head turned over to the doors as they swung open. seaming slightly surprised by how quickly Rouchlos came came back she eventually lowered her head purring softly as she coiled herself into a ball getting ready to sleep.
Catching up to Kat, and Maero Rouchlos did his best to act like nothing had happened. even though his mind was a flame with questions and plans that at times distracted him form what was going on. But something did catch his ey. "Maero? Where did your dragon go?" HE asks honestly. Tenchi was easy to spot from Sulfurs actions as one of her eyes seamed to always be open and looking towards her pens door.

Gwen put her hands over her ears when the beeken went off. She didn't know what it was for, she just knew that it caused her ears hurt like hell. She really hoped that it didn't hurt Kaida's ears as well.

Relena's room had long since gone quiet as the people inside left. Her eyes cracked opened slightly and she slowly took in her surroundings. It was not to her expectations...at all. Still...she wasn't completely complaining about being on a feather down mattress than a stone ceil floor. If her enemies were going to use comfort against her, they may very well win.
Relena could feel Gwen, much to her sudden rise of anger, nearby. She also felt others. Like she said to Sang, it was her body that was broken, not her mind.
"You need your rest my dear. I don't want you to pass out when we actually meet face to face..."
Despite her liking, her body failed her and sleep once again took her away from the pain that was still torturing her body on occasions. She may have hated the King with a passions that could burn steel, but, at the moment, she could nothing more than submit to his stronger will...and spells. Besides...sleeping sounded so perfect right now.
*Gwen Chambers*
Gwen ears may not have worked but her nose did. She immediately picked up on the foul smell of the creature that took her as his foggy being took form just before the doors.
Darza looked over Gwen from head to toe, his eyes clearly taking notes, as he remained by the doors. "A little ooooold for any good taming unfortunately," said Darza in a slight hiss of disappointment. He advanced on her suddenly, reaching out of her with an twisted clawed hand. A cold, rough hand latched onto her chin as Darza forced her face into many directions to get a better look at her. "What interesting ears you have," chuckled Darza, "and eyes. Genetic perhaps?"
Suddenly his hand went for the scarf-like material covering her left shoulder. "Now about your mark...I have something special in mind for that!"
*Dragon Chambers*
Rouchlos mind was a racing engine of worry and confusion. Even so, he was doing well in keeping it all bottled up. Deep within his own mind, something suddenly broke through his barriers. However, it did not show on the outside and Rouchlos raging mind went quiet as something began to calm him. It seem that this something was worry that Rouchlos would be given away if he didn't calm himself.
"You have grown up my dear Rouchlos..."
The King was looking into Rouchlos mind, seeking the knowledge the young man had. The King was a man that damned absolute loyalty, so a simple searching of ones mind and knowledge was to be expected.
"Darza seems to have been bit lacking in the details when he explain to me about your little rebel group. My old friend is so impeciable in his tastes, but I must say...I am impressed."

Maero smiled bitterly at Kat's words, magic did seem fickle at times... bringing two halves together, only to have them separate by time and space again. Seemed like a nasty torture fate designed just for her.
But her brow perked up when he mentioned; "Something amiss?" Maero then gazed towards Sulfure, noticing how the dragons scent did indeed fill the chamber more potently then before. Though she assumed perhaps it was because it was a sealed chamber. But Kat did raise a good question. She didn't have a chance to answer when the door suddenly opened and Rouchlos came back inside.
"Rouchlos," Maero blinked her miss matching eyes at him, surprised he did not figure out the answer for himself. Since he did witness the summoning as well. "Sh- she went back to the other side." she said with a remorseful sigh, " It's the nature of her tribe... but to be more precise, the magical charge eventually ran out- like a spell reaching conclusion..I could not hold the drain for much longer..;" she pointed to her eye that now matched the same her partner dragon possessed, "so she had to return to the space within her vessel. I'm surprised... you saw her summoning."
Technically that meant she was still there, just not physically, and she could only observe through Maero's odd eye which she shared with her.
Completely unaware of the Kings invasion into Rouchlos's mind- so all of this was revealed if Rouchlos took the information in.
Maero suddenly felt very hungry, an obvious side effect from the summon-link. Her belly grummbled, and she went pink in the cheeks. "I apologize..." she looked away, "that's very unladylike."

Kat crossed his arms and leaned against one of the legs of his dragon partner. he listened to the trading of words between Maero and Rouchlos. He was struck by the fact that Rouchlos didn't seem to know...he heard Maero's stomach grumble and he smiled softly at her. "Sorry...i've got nothing left, you guys cleaned me out in the oasis." he turned towards Rouchlos, frowning slightly
"Ignorance is not Bliss, Rouchlos...Tell me, what is going on here? we've been sealed in this room for sometime, it stinks like your Dragon...something is wrong, and I think you better tell me" Kat stood up, sliding his hands inside his robes and grasping his daggers. "I'm not in the mood for lies, Rouchlos...I'm tired, Hungry, and very, very weary of you and your men at the moment."

"Thank you my King" Was all Rouchlos could respond to the king before Maero's and Kat's voices and questions allowed his mind to concentrate on the issues at hand. for once he was glad for the human condition and all of its ailments. Letting a gentle smile crack his skin he looks to Maero,
"Its quite all right Maero. it has been quite a while sense any of us have eaten. Honestly I'm surprised that I'm not having any complaints from my body..."
"I'm not in the mood for lies, Rouchlos...I'm tired, Hungry, and very, very weary of you and your men at the moment."
Getting slightly caught off guard by Kat's comments Rouchlos's eyes finally looked to the man noting almost instantly where his hand were and what he was probably doing underneath his robes outer layers. "Sulfur, is simply letting your dragon now who is the boss here Kat. Though she might also be advertising im not entirely to sure. Though thats all it is. She simply wants the others to know that she is the oldest, and as such should be treated with respect..." "If only all of this world life forms were that simple" Rouchlos thinks to himself as he takes a short pause. letting the concept sink in just enough so it would make enough sense to pass by most people that knew what they were talking about. "And the doors were sealed by my order for your protection. There was a cave in around the Living quarters, and it is simply standard procedure to seal off every section of the facility. to keep the dust controlled as well as the possibility of a rolling cave in that would bury every one beneath a few hundred feet of rock and sand. Im sorry if i seam to be a bit absent minded but that area has been sealed off to all but the essential personnel. Its never easy lousing men, especially in such a manner. We probably wont even find most of the bodies of the men working there." Bringing his explanation to a close he looks back to Maero smiling gently as she was still looking away.
"Please, Dinner is waiting for us in the officer dining hall. I'm sure all of us could use a bite to eat. " Rouchlos comments as he steps to the side and holds his arm towards a smaller tunnel that was just to the right of the dragon grooming pens.
back at the main door way a few carts were starting to emerge from the tunnel with team of middle aged boys moved that carts, filled to the limit with slabs of meat, like nothing. two of the carts were wheeled towards Sulfurs pen, two for Tenchi. there were two additional carts brought up for Eleniel but when the boys got to the pen and noticed that it was empty the remains were split among the two dragons giving them both more than enough to fill their stomachs.

"I'm only 16, which is still considered a newborn by my elders," was all that she had managed to say before he grabbed her chin and jerked it from side-to-side. She reach up and grabbed his wrist when it was only a few inches away from her shawl. "What mark are you talking about, Durza?" Gwen asked in her sweetest, most seductive tone she could manage.
