Sherwood is also known as Sherwood Factory District [A Robin Hoodesque RP]. Here's the background story on it:
The year is 2049. Earth is at war with itself. One usurper has reached the position of power and controls all countries. Those who had the money escaped in hopes of finding Earth's sister planet. Those who thirsted for power joined Emperor Miyoshi's side.
The poor began to ban together in a rebelious attempt to overthrow the power and bring the closest thing they ever had to peace back. There attempts thus far have failed. What they need is a savior? The rebellion needed a strong warrior that could lead them to victory and bring money back to them.
Ten years have passed now. It is 2059, and the war between the powerful and the poor still rages on both oversees and in Japan. The skies are dust filled, and the Sherwood Factory district has become a ghost town. None dare to venture out of their homes anymore for fear of the Sherwood Sheriff's cronies. Many buildings have begun to decay and crumble for the population no longer has the money to repair their once beloved homes.
Families have been torn apart. Fathers have turned against sons. Sisters against brothers. No one knows who to trust anymore. No one knows who will call out treason against another just for a few pieces of gold to get them food for atleast the next couple of days.
The only building in the Sherwood Factory District that was kept tidy was Emperor Miyoshi's palace. The palace is home to the emperor, the sheriff, the poor captive princess, the princess's nurse, and several guards and servants. Many of the rebellion have tried to infiltrate the walls but have given up. The guards have all the advanced weaponry and skill.
Our story opens with our hero returning home from the war.
(We basically need a "Merian" before we can really get going. Of course I'm not going to make you take the place of "Merian" if you do not wish to be her/him/it).
