"I killed my own mother, or at least thats how my dad saw it. She died giving birth to me and my dad hated me for it. He thought i deserved.... Never mind. Lets talk about something else." Missy said to Edward while avoiding thinking about her father. "What made you want to come here anyway? I mean besides the fact that you are 'Super'." Missy asked him putting air quotes around the word super.

TeHsChNoZbErRy Rufus smiled to himself, "I'll give you a tour if you want," he suggested, glancing at Israel. Was it too soon to be offering his roommate's sister anything? Israel seemed like a good roommate, clean and nice, but would Rufus ruin it by being friendly with the guy's sister? Adrian tried not to start bouncing up and down at the idea and her wings flickered again in her excitment. "Really? You would do that? That would be wonderful!" She then looked with a pleading expression to Israel. "Can I go? Please?..." Israel saw Rufus glance at him for approval and nodded, laughing softly at his sisters antics. "Of course you can... just don't... wander off, yes?" Adrian threw her hands in the air and tackled her twin brother in a hug, subconciously glad that she had already finished her soda. She stood back and gave him a smile before turning back to Rufus, smiling even brighter. "I'm ready when you are."

Dinner found Sephora with her usual company, herself. People were getting used to her just being part of the background, once she fended off potential 'friends' with glares cold enough to solidify nitrogen. She had found the windowsills of the dining hall offered a rest large enough for her to balance a tray on, facing the dying sun, its final orange rays catching on the blue tips of her black hair, neutralising them.
Her face was still furrowed in its normal suspicious frown as she flipped her fork through whatever she was eating- she couldn't remember. Judging from the worrying rainbow trail on the ground, she figured that annoying colour-changing 'super' was at work again. Oh, if only acts of violence were allowed... Thumbing her book open, she paused, fork-to-lips as she got into the prose.

Rufus smiled at Adrian, "Of course!" he nodded, "I'm free now," he put his hands in his pockets, "We should start with the dining hall, since it is dinner time," he said to the girl.

Adrian gave him a nod, trying to keep her excitment to a minimum and followed him out of the room. Israel followed as well, but he gave them a wave.
"I am going to go check on a few things, I will see you later on at dinner." He gave a slight nod of his head, his hair messing up again before turning on his heel and heading the opposite direction, not really sure where he was going. Adrian was off his hands for a while, and so he simply decided to take advantage of it.
Adrian looked at her brother as he walked away but shrugged, too focused on seeing the rest of the building and anitcipated going outside. She followed Rufus for a moment before deciding to start up a conversation. "So, why have you come here, if you don't mind me asking."

Rufus thought over his answer for a moment, before replying, "Well, its about the only place where you're guaranteed to meet people like you." he paused, "And my aunt wanted me in a boarding school and didn't want to worry about whether I got in or not."

"Oh, I see." She made a note that he had not mentioned his parents, but they had just met and it didn't seem like the proper disscussion to have at the time. She began to feel nervous as they walked down the somewhat narrow halls and her left wing, the one closet to Rufus, gave a twitch.
I hate being inside...
She decided to focus her attention somewhere else. "So then I take it you have been here for some years then?"

"Only a couple," he replied, keeping his hands in his pockets. He glanced around, trying not to x-ray through the clothes of the various girls wandering the halls. Soon they were outside, and he was glad about it.
He looked at Adrian, "So... you're brother's a bit protective, isn't he?"

Adrian walked past him first through the doors outside, both out of habit of having a male hold a door for her, and out of her excitment of finally being outside.
"Yes, just a bit though... we never grew up with any supers... an I was not born this way so I suppose he just doesn't want to lose me..." She took a few steps away from him and with a sigh of relief, spread her wings out wide. They were not large, in fact, they were just her size reaching about 6 inches past her arm length. She stretched them for a second before letting them recline onto her back a bit more comfortable than before as they stuck out straight from behind her rather then her former position where they had to lay flat against her back.
"There... that's better..."

He looked around, "I probably would've been protective if I had a sister," he replied, watching her wings stretch out. "But- er-" he looked around. "I don't want to ruin your dinner, but its kinda chilly out, do you wanna go grab a coffee to drink while I show you around?" he asked.

Adrian gave him a thoughtful smile.
"Yes, of course."
She was down for anything now, even if it meant going back inside. As long as she could be outside for just a few moments a day, she was happy.

Missy smiled at him. "I think you are wonderful to be around." Missy said to him, while wondering about his other 'power'. She didnt ask him beacuse she could tell he didnt want to talk about it. "Plus it is nice to have company every now and then. Espacially when at a school full of people who understand. I mean i had trouble with my powers when i first found them out, but when i got here, they taught me how to controll it." She added, trying her best to make him feel better.

"Im not really sure if my thing can be prevented from happening though. It just does after im around someone for a while... it is likly to start happening ot you too." he sighed, feeling horrible.
