'Thank you' I mouthed to James with a smile for accepting Mel's offer and not blowing up on her. I looked at Mel's face when Daniel finished, "Mel, hun, what he's trying to say is, don't feel like you have to buy us, if we didn't want you to hang out with us, we would have either said so or ditched. Just be you. It's less awkward." I saw my smoothie on the counter and snatched it up, god only knows how long it's been since I'd had one of these! I took a long sip and relished in the sweet tangy flavor, an orgasm in my mouth exploding, the cold settling into my chest on it's way down and then melting into a river of sweet juice.

"make a new resolution, Mary? Your face gave it away." I smiled kindly at her, she was such a sweet girl, the kind of person that would make a great god-mother...

"You're not even going to tell us? Come on!" Daniel follows Mary over to the bench, though he remains standing. "You got us all curious and antsy."

Daniel could ask politely, oh he could. But that would hardly be as much fun as blowing Mary's simple statement way far out of proportion. He drops to one knee in front of Mary and takes her hand in his, gazing at her with a serious expression for all the world as though he intended to propose. "But soft! What thought does yonder Mary think?"

I burst into laughter and splattered smoothie at the ground. i clutched my stomach in an attempt to stop but failed miserably, "Dan!! You made smoothie come out my nose!"

James rolled his eyes as he looked at the scene before him, just the hint of a smile coming to his mouth as he sipped his smoothie. What a sorry group of misfits we are He thought to himself, causing his smile to widen abit more.

"Nuh uh! My smoothie!" Daniel replied with all the eloquent delivery of a five year old. He slurped more of the cold, fruity goodness and playfully gave Angie a sideways squinty glare. "I've got my eye on you, girlie. And don't think those feminine wiles of yours are going to work on me." He'd wanted to add 'like that guy', but decided pissing off James before he knew if he could outrun the guy was probably a bad idea. Not the worst idea he'd ever had, but a pretty bad one. Daniel took a look at his watch and set down his smoothie for a moment to pull out his pills, take his dosage and put the bottle back in his pocket. At least he had cold, delicious smoothie to wash it down with! He picked up the smoothie again and took a satisfying slurp.

Daniel clutches one hand dramatically over his heart and looks distressed. "... You are a cruel mistress. Bringeth on the pain; I may cry, but before that I will see the Elysian fields! Valhalla in the valley of glistening abs! Heaven in the house of chiseled chin! Do I get to touch him before he runs off?"
