The river was close, he could hear it. It'd be best to not dig too close to it but if he chose the right spot the dirt wouldn't be that solid. He darted to the left as instinct took over. Here, this would be the best place. He dumped the body to the ground causing a squishy thunk to be uttered. "Take care of it," he said simply as he turned to leave. "Use a rock from over there to dig. A flat one.... Just hurry whatever you do." With that he left before she had anything to say. He still had to clean up her mess that she had left.

Dasha stared at him as he left. She was still amazed that he had helped her at all. It was an act of kindness she wouldn't have expected from anyone, even her own parents. "Спасибо," she mumbled under her breath before turning and searching the ground for a rock, as he instructed. She found one after a bit that had a sharp edge and got thicker on the other. It was easy enough to grip. It would take her a long time to dig a hole deep enough to completely cover the body as well as keep it well hidden, so she decided to get to work. She shoved the stone into the dirt and began loosening it, pushing it to the side at the same time. She would pause every now and then and use her own hands to get some of the dirt out of it. She continued on this for a few hours....

Xavier was lucky that there wasn't much blood left. She was a member of the clean plate club that was for sure. Wiping his hands on his pants he turned and took his trash with him. He'd be dumping it in some random person's trash on his way home. He really didn't want anything coming back to him. Why he helped her, that was a question he himself couldn't answer. He wished he could though. Sighing he darted through the shadows and finished with his work. Morning was going to be upon him just as sleep was now. He silently slipped into his house, up the stairs, and hid in his room where he fell down to the padded bedding. He would be sleeping for most of the day to come.

After hours of digging and dirtying up her hands, Dasha stood up and looked down at the hole she had dug. It was a decent size and would certainly fit the body. Scrunched up a bit, maybe, but it would still fit. She let out a long sigh as she attempted to catch her breath. She couldn't wait to get home. She slowly began to fill the hole back up, her mind going over what had happened that night over and over again. She still couldn't understand it, but she gave up shortly. Her job was almost done. She finally stood again and covered the spot with fallen leaves. It now looked like no more than another spot in the forest. She walked over to the stream and dipped her hands in it, washing them as best she could. Somehow, she doubted she would be able to get all the dirt off of them for a long time. Once she was at least satisfied with her job, she stood once again and looked to the sky. She had taken so long...the sun was already threatening to rise. She could see the light on the horizon. She had to get home quickly. She still needed to take care of what was left of the crime scene.
---------------------------------------
As she came back into the streets, she was surprised to find it all cleaned up. She originally thought that perhaps she had the wrong street, but she soon realized she was wrong. Puzzled, she headed back to her home. She needed to get ready for work anyway.

Xavier tried to close the door quietly behind him in order to keep his family from hearing. His eyes darted about the room, slowly becoming acustomed to the darkness. Morning was going to be soon. All was going well wehn he heard a creak behind him. He whirled on his heel to face the shadowed figure that stood behind him. "W-who?" he whispered. A small slit of light came from the window next to the door and as the figure stepped into it it's face was revealed. "Xavier,... what were you out doing?" said Flint plainly, his silver hair gleaming in the waining moonlight. "Flint,... You know I barely sleep these days... I just went out for a walk. I haven't been gone long. Only about a half hour or so...." In truth he hadn't kept much track of the time. Flint, however, had only gotten up a few moments before his return and had only noticed his absence because of the sound of him entering the house. Flint nodded, a faint smile upon his lips. "Right... How about we get some tea then, eh? Help warm you up."

Dasha got to her home, shutting the door behind her quickly. She whipped her hands together, trying to get the last bits of dirt off of them. She walked to her room, glancing out of one of the windows. The shade was drawn for the most part, so she could barely see outside. She guessed that it was an hour or so before the sun would fully rise, so she had plenty of time. She went to her room and disappeared for quite a bit before emerging in her work clothes. She let out a small yawn, stretching her arms out above her head before going into her kitchen. She poured herself a glass of water and took a drink. That had been a long night for her.....But at least she had gotten a meal out of it. That would last her quite some time and took some worry off her chest. She never knew where or how her next meal would come, after all. She let out yet another sigh before taking a large gulp and placing the cup on the counter. She walked out of the kitchen and out her front door.

With a good morning's tea upon his lips the Flint got to chatting about trivial things until Xavier gave him a smile and quizzical look. Catching it quickly, Flint rejoined with his own. "Aye? What is it?" Xavier laughed slightly before taking a sip of his tea and setting it down on the table before him. "Nozing my friend. I vas just noticing somezing." Flint pounded his fist on the tabl playfully and pouted until Xavier chuckled again. "You'we met a girl hawen you?" Flint pulled back slightly, colored for a moment, and then smiled as he leaned forward and sipped his tea. "Perhaps...."

Dasha shuffled down the streets, staring at the ground as she went. She was early for work, as usual. But she never seemed to have much better to do so...work was the best option. She came up to the door of a small restaurant and walked inside. She went straight to the back, passing by a tall young man who turned around to look at her. "Good morning, Dasha," he greeted. She waved her hand as she walked by him, not bothering to turn. "Hi," she said, rather monotonously. The man cocked his head to the side slightly before shrugging and going back to wiping off tables. Dasha grabbed one of her waitress aprons from the back and tied it around her waist. She was wearing her uniform which consisted of a nice top that was a bit too small for her bosom and a skirt. She smoothed her hair back and pulled it into a ponytail before walking back out front.
((For future record, we're doing a time jump here...))

A small head appeared next to Flint's bed, two small eyes peering at him as he slept. "Fliiiiint..." said the young girl as she reached up and poked his shoulder. "Wake up!" "Ngh,.... Eh... Oh, Aurora its you. Agh. What do you want?" "How rude!" she said as she crossed her arms against her chest, "I was just waking you up. You have work today you know big brother." Flint sat up slowly, rubbing his head as his blanket fell to the ground. "Ah, sorry... Thank you.... I'll be down in a moment.." A moment passed and the girl was still there. Flint turned to look at her, a small amount of irritation showing on his face. "Why are you still here?" he mumbled. A questioning look was on the girl face as she pointed towards his crotch. "Why are your pants weird? Are you hiding a toy down there?" Flint glanced down only to quickly grab his blanket from the floor and cover his waist with it. "Its nothing! Now get out of here before I tell father! Get! Go!" With that the girl left giggling, not really knowing what her brother was so embarassed about.

Dasha glanced over at the covered window, streams of light filtering in through the cracks on the corners. She let a yawn escape her lips before nudging her head into her pillow. She pulled it closer to her face. 'I should get up...' she thought to herself. 'Why does my bed have to be so comfortable?' Slowly, she pushed herself up so that she was kneeling on the bed. She stretched her arms above her head as her long purple hair fell over her shoulders. She swung her legs over the side of the bed and got up. Her outfit was less than modest by quite a bit. Living alone, she didn't care what she wore to bed. But, then again, she wouldn't have cared if anyone was there either. She got up and trudged over to her clothes, pulling out a normal outfit. She had the day off, so she didn't have to get her work clothes on that day.

Flint yawned as he stumbled down the house stairs, slinging a messenger bag over his head. "I'm leaving for work! See you when I get back." With that we swiftly walked out of the house and headed towards he town library. Whispers of the recently passed death still spreading through the streets.

Dasha let out yet another yawn as she stripped down, throwing her clothes on the bed. She quickly got dressed and walked out of her bedroom. She squinted as the light that was filtering through her front windows struck her face. It burned her eyes as she tried to adjust from no light in her room to the sunlight stricken hallway. She placed her fingers over in the corners of her eyes and began to rub them lightly before she continued on, walking down the hall. She ran her fingers through her hair as she stepped into the kitchen, glancing out the window. She poured a glass of water and put it to her lips. The cool liquid slid over her tongue and around her teeth before she swallowed it. She placed the glass down on the counter, still staring out the window.

.: And Flint can be seen by Dasha. :.
The brisk morning air was cool within his lungs as he made his way to work. He pulled his hat off, sent a hand through his hair, then replaced it once more as he walked. The months had passed and the weather had gotten no better. Now it was cold enough in the morning for frost to settle on the surroundings and your breath was always visible. his hands grew warm as he rubbed them together, only his exposed fingers still tasting the cold's bite. With his scarg pulled a bit tighter, he made his way through the edges of the city, passed the out rim, and soon was deep within the cities heart. He was taking a new short cut that took him directly to the dock the the library resided next to. Who ever thought of turning a lighthouse into a library was a genius. No one was going to threaten to tear down a lighthouse. Flint coughed lightly, pulling his coiled fist up to his lips as he walked. He'd be there soon and then he'd be out from the morning chill.

Dasha was just about to turn around and leave her kitchen when a bit of movement caught her eye. She glanced over to see a familiar face coming down the street, if that's even what it could be called. There wasn't much to it other than dirt and a lot of loose stones. Then again, that was what most of the streets seemed to be like. She quickly turned away from the window and went down the hall a few steps to her front door. She opened up the door and looked over at him. "Hello stranger," she greeted, taking a step outside. Her bare feet stopped on the frozen ground just outside her door as she crossed her arms over her chest. Despite the cold weather, her dress was rather sparse. Her shirt was a V neck that revealed more than just her cleavage. It stopped just short of her belly button while her skirt was resting easily on her hip bones. She had clinging leggings on that were cut short of her ankles.
((Just clarification, I'm assuming Flint doesn't know she's a vampire yet.))

.: Correcto, he knows nothing. :.
Flint stopped short, pushing his hat up just enough for a strand or two to fall out and the person speaking to him to be visible. His face brightened a bit as he saw who it was and a smile sprung to his lips.
"Ello there. Its been a while hasn't it. Since we've actually talked I mean."
He gave a small sigh, releasing the air he had been holding unknowingly. His coat hung open, showing the worn yet pressed and clean button down shirt and black tie that hung down the middle. The back of his bare neck prickled as a small gust of cool wind brushed past him.
"You look like you're doing well," he said as he strained to look only into her eyes. He was proud that he was doing so well.
