 Adira was finally satisfied again as another pokemon was taken out by her claws but grudgingly held a small respect for Dreydonna for she was quick.
When Rene re-released Chaos into the battle again, Adira eyes gleamed as her final opponent was up and she wasn't going to let them off easy. She may be at a disadvantage but hopefully luck would be with her as it was before.
"Focus Blast, Adira!"
Once again, Adira formed the white glowing energy ball in front of her and let it go at Chaos.

"Ice Beam!" This had better work, or the plan would fall apart... They needed at least two or three turns with no interference from Adira! If it failed, they'd fall even further behind.
Chaos growled, taking the hit, then charged a blue orb from his red horn. He fired the beam at Adira, getting a good hold by digging his claws into the floating platform.

At the same time when Kayla exclaimed "s**t!" and Adira eyes widen and attempted to flee from the attack, the rampardos was frozen solid before Adira could get off the platform she was currently on. Her eyes was fixed on Chaos with loathing and will get him back for this.

Renekai gave a sigh of relief. Finally, things could turn around! "Calm Mind!" she called.
Ignoring that there was a large pokemon waiting to tear him apart as soon as she was free, Chaos relaxed and closed his eyes. His claws retracted and he seemed to sag slightly where he stood. He held that pose for a moment, then his eyes snapped open and he was as tense as before.

The ice around Adira was starting to melt and now she could start moving around little but not enough to attack, much to dismay and fury.
Kayla attempted to calm down Adira but already knew before she said anything, it was useless. " It's just a small setback, Adira. Either way. We still can come out on top."

"Let's make the best of what we've got. Water Pulse!"
At last, this was Chaos's chance to finally do some damage! Flexing his claws, he sent a dark wave of energy through the water. The water swelled up and pulsed. With each pulsation, it rose higher and higher, until there was a large pillar of water defying gravity. In a second, the whole thing came crashing down upon Adira.

When the final and last restraining ice block came off from Adira, she leap out of the pile of slowly melted ice and onto another platform that was nearby.
Now that she was free, she was going to exact some revenge but not before getting hit with another hateful water attack which only angered her more.
Kayla watched as Adira released an Ice Beam at the absol and hoped it worked again. It's almost pointless now to keep back any attacks after what just happened.

((Oh. I made a boo-boo. D: Haze "eliminates all stat changes" according to serebii.net, so because Dreydonna used that attack after you used Ancient Power, your +50 Attack was eliminated and Chaos suffered only 150 damage.)) Chaos nimbly dodged the attack by jumping to another floating platform. His claws dug in once more, leaving gouges half a quarter of an inch deep. Doing this helped him release some stress as well as keep his balance."You know what to do!" Renekai called. "Try it again, Adira!" Kayla ordered but it was unnecessary. Adira already knew what she wanted to do and that was to stop Chaos in his tracks while she pounds him. Within seconds, Adira sent off another Ice Beam, hoping this time it will take a hit.

Chaos gracefully leaped to the next platform, which wobbled under his weight before settling once more. Chaos bared his teeth. Would they attempt to freeze him until the very end?
"Water Pulse!" Renekai repeated. It looked like this was the attack that they'd use for a while. But the frequent Ice Beams did worry her... They could easily turn the tables with one well-placed blow.
Chaos sent another black shadow through the water, which pulsed as if alive. Soon another wave was headed towards Adira.

Adira roared again at the miss of her attack and the water attack that managed to graze her back as she dodged most of it. It's still stung and starting to tire her out.
Adira gritted her teeth and bared it at the absol with hatred. She knew that it was already starting to look like she was going to lose this battle but she WILL stop that absol in it's tracks if it's the last thing she does.
With that thought in mind, Adira shot another Ice Beam at Chaos.Quote: 500/1000 This sucks major! D<

Chaos leaped clear once again, now standing on the platform he had at the very beginning. If the only thing Adira threw at him were Ice Beams, he would handle the battle very easily.
Without waiting for Renekai's order, for he knew now what to do, Chaos shot another Water Pulse at Adira. She may be bigger, but she was not stronger.
Renekai watched from her place, biting her lip as she did when worried. It looked like things were going well for them, but their luck could run out...
((Edit: Wow. That's 350 damage... You have 125 HP, since 650 - 175 = 475 and 475 - 350 = 125))

Panicking, Adira leap out of the water and back on dry land or as dry as it was with all the splashing during all the battles.
Adira was at the point of exhuastion but it wasn't in her to quit. Taking a quick look over at her trainer, the rampardos could tell that her trainer was on the verge of giving up but too proud to do so.
Well, if this last attack could keep them from losing then it will be worth it. If not, then it was a good try being that the battle was already lost from the beginning.

At last, Chaos could not jump far enough. He stood resolutely, eyes set on Adira. She was going to hurt him, he knew, but he also knew that when he got free, it would be the end of the great, hulking dinosaur.
Renekai watched the scene apprehensively. Just when they had been about to win, the Ice Beam had worked. It was a really strong one, too, by the looks of it. But she felt that Chaos could make it; he had suffered hardly any damage prior to the beam. "Hang in there," she whispered.

Kayla was already expecting the Ice Beam to miss again but went into complete shock when it finally landed a hit, causing the absol to be frozen.
Adira roared in triumph and glance back at her trainer with a smugness, even though she exhausted.
"Okay, okay! I should have known to never give up on you, girl! Now let's get the ball moving...Use Focus Blast!"
Adira formed a white glowing energy ball in front of her again and sent it flying at Chaos, finally getting some much needed revenge after being pounded with water moves.
