Kane's eyes were alight with happiness. "I think so. I would have slept longer if my stomach would have let me. It insists I eat."

Kane quickly answered, "Food. I do not care what...as long as I can eat it." He began to shuffle towards the door.

She laughed and followed him.
"well...there's always an abundance of chocolate in the house...there's meat, vegetables, fruit..."

Kane smiled. "It all sounds good. I am very hungry. I feel as if I could eat a whole side of beef."

She took his arm and nearly hugged it as she rested her head on his shoulder as they walked, gently steering him to the kitchen.

Kane kissed her forehead. "If you have any leftovers, that will be fine. I don't want to trouble you with cooking." He sat down on a chair and took a break. He was a little lightheaded from walking.

"I can check for leftovers..." She wouldn't guarentee it on leftovers. She checked the fridge, pushing things out of her way then back to their place. She found some leftover roast, and a few sides.
She pulled them out and started dishing them onto a plate and heating it up. Cold food isn't entirely nice with some things. When it was done heating up, she placed it and a fork in front of him. "Here you go."

Kane picked up the fork and took a few bites. "Thank you." After a few more forkfulls he stopped. "Aren't you going to eat, Rosette?"

She smiled and slipped a hand into his. Her heart fluttered when he became bold, fluttering in excitement.
