Michael had not much in the way of options; he changed targets and began firing on the wasplings, taking even more time to aim so as to hit their heads.

Michael's headshots were downing them in one hit - but then, so had the body shots. In fact, when he missed and got body shots, they went down exactly as quickly.

Michael raised an eyebrow and threw caution to the wind beyond making sure he was aiming enough to kill things. He started backing up but ran into Marten. "Let's move AWAY from here, shall we?" he suggested.

They soon made it into the street. The ground they walked over was noticeably devoid of swarmling corpses but they had more important matters to think about. A cursory glance back showed that they dissolved into smears of pus that evaporated into clouds of steam within seconds.

"Get inside!" Michael shouted, letting the gun deform and sprinting for the nearest house. Door. Whatever presented itself, including windows to dive through. He just wanted to be out of the open.

They entered a Clubway sandwich shop. The walls were mostly windows at the front of the store.

Michael moved to behind the desk so as to protect himself and prepared to fire on anything that approached. He discovered he'd lost his cigarette and pulled another from his pocket, lighting it up.
((Yes, I will be focusing on the cigarettes. He does.))
