She followed after the teal wolf, giving him a slight smile before making her way into the den, talking to him while doing so. "I'm not sure when they'll be back. But I do hope Gyani gets back soon, and I hope she's not still hearing things...", Ria said to the male, whispering the last part to herself.

"I'm sure she is okay." Kage couldn't help trying to make her feel better, he cared about her. "But, why don't we talk about something else? Lighten up the mood a little." He looked around him, feeling his paws pulsate from their achy swell. Slowly, he lowered himself into a laying position. His eyes and head were still perked though, completely able to see the outline of the female's body. "So, where do you plan on going after this? Have any dreams or wishes?"

Ria could only hope that Gyani would be alright- she was more worried about her mental condition than her physical.
Once in the den, she took a seat not far at all from where Kage had decided to lie down. She looked to the dirt floor for the den, her ears quickly perking up at his question. The purple wolf then looked slightly dissapointed.
"Well, me and Gyani were going to go and stay with her pack.....but I'm sad to say that her pack had dispersed before we had gotten there. Apparently, the two alphas were having some issues. To be honest, I was kind of looking forward to living with a pack. I've never been in one before."
With that, her gaze turned to Kage. "But then again, if I had joined it, I'd never of met you.", she said, her tone turning more cheerfull as she grinned.

HIs eyes flashed happily as he was taken aback by her comment. "Well, I must say I am quite happy that they did." He smiled, showing his pure white fangs. "I myself plan on joining with a small group, hopefully. One can only hope nowadays... But, like I said, I'd rather be here with you than in some huge unfamiliar pack. And I know life isn't half as good alone. It's all to habitual to me, actually." His gaze broke suddenly, looking to the ground. "I don't think I'd leave you... all.... for the world." He whispered this, taking a silent sigh at his quick recovery. "You're stupid," he cursed himself quietly.

Ria would certainly want to be with Kage and Gyani than with any pack, certainly. She was quite glad to hear that Kage would rather be with her as well. However, she was taken by suprise as it final comment. Did he really feel that way?...Ria had never had anyone care for her that way for as long as she can remember- considering the fact that she had no knowledge of her family. Gyani of course cared for her, but apparently not in the same way Kage did. This made Ria's mood quite joyfull.
Getting up, she took a seat next to Kage, after hearing him cure at himself. "You are not stupid. You are anything but that!"
She gave him a quick nuzzle, hoping to lighten his mood.

He smiled lightly and looked up at her, meeting her gaze. "Atleast I'm happy with you. Alone, this life just seems so circling. Nothing new, but can you really ask for much more? Normally when you do, all you get is harmful new traps." He shrugged, dismissing the subject. "I'm just happy to be here with you." He couldn't help but nuzzle her back lightly, contently touching his side fur to her pelt, feeling the warmth fro her body. "Are you tired? Fell free to fall asleep when you wish to. I am here to protect you.... Though you are so strong you might not need it." He didn't look at her, concerned with what her reaction might be.

She was happy as well, to be safe, with Kage, and Gyani- that is, as soon as she returned. Ria prefered being with others than being alone, as she was before she met Gya. At Kage's mentioning of the word 'tired', Ria remember exactly how tired she really was. It had been a long while since she had slept in a place such as this den. Usually, she slept out in the open- which meant she couldn't fully relax, as she had to keep herself aware.
Though as tired as she was, she refused to sleep. For now, at least.
"I am tired.", the female admitted, yawning for a moment afterwards, "But I do not want to sleep. I want to know if Gyani is safe before I do. Once she returns, I will rest. But not untill then."

Kage looked at her with compassion in his eyes, then turned back to the far horizon through the cave's mouth. "As you wish," he said quietly, his ears perked forward, listening to the sounds of the world around him.

Only a while later did he dive back into a conversation with her. "So, who do you have in your family?" He dared not ask anything specific; the worst thing he could do right now is bring up bad memories for her. Not only that, but he wanted to make sure she didn't once have a family of her own. Then he was sure it'd be all to hard for her to like anyone, especially him. "What are you thinking?" he thought, actually wondering himself this time around.

"My...family?", Ria said, in a slightly confused tone as she looked to Kage. "I don't know anything of my family, really. I've been without them for as long as I can remember- obviously I had parents, but I don't know about siblings. I was alone untill I met Gyani."
Though for some wolves, saying such a thing may cause sadness, it didn't bother Ria at all. How could she miss a family that she didn't remember? Of course, she knew she had a mother and father out there somewhere, and perhaps even some siblings. Dead or alive, everywolf has a family.
But did Kage? 'Might as well ask, she thought.
"What about you, Kage? Do you know of your family?"

Kage winced, not meaning to physically. "Well, I had a family- for about a month." He gave a small unconvincing smile with this, trying to prove it didn't bother him at all. "They, well. They- tried to drown me." He gave a small shrug, not making eye contact with his audience. "I was, um, evil persay. Because of my coloring, or markings.... But, I'm really not." He stated this with a pure look of innocence, conflicted with a grimace of the water's reminder of choking down his throat, consuming him, making him unable to breath. He sucked in a quick silent breath, continuing along with the story he'd only told once. "My family, as far as I can remember, were very, um, how to put it? -Supersticous- Supposedly I was of the water element, with my teal and shadowed fur, you know? But anyway, so that's where my name came from. 'Mizu-Kage', water shadow. They tried to take me out the way I was "created". Water. But I survived, and I've been alone since." He glanced at her, a smile on his face, kind of signaling the end of the story. "It really doesn't matter now. It was so long ago. You're here now, right?" He gave a small laugh and inhaled the cold night's air. "I always thought I'd make up for it with my own pups." He whispered, looking out to the open, his eyes lit with truth, pride, and promise as his muzzle seized to silence.

Ria had never expected Kage's story to be such a sad one. She now felt sorry for asking, but it was to late to do anything now. How could a family do such a thing to thier pup? "I'm sorry, Kage...", she looked at him and frowned slightly, her happier mood returning a few moments later. "Your own pups? I am sure you will treat them much better than you were treated once you have some to call your own." She nodded and smiled, before drifting off into thought.
Puppies....
She had never though about having any of her own, nor had she though about what it would be like to become a parent.

He gave a light-hearted smile, turning to meet her gaze. "It's alright." He gave a sing-song tone and continued, "Yes, my puppies will be great. I will protect them with my life, and pass on all of my knowledge to them in the hopes of creating a leader. Or a perfect mate for a future court." He gave a small laugh, "But I guess their mother would have alot to do in that aspect." He smiled, gazing deep into her dark eyes. "Surely you must have some intention of starting a family?" He pursued, speaking the next words so quietly they were barely heard. "I'm sure you'd have no trouble finding someone who would be yours." He gave a small sly smile teasing her, "Unless you have realized you are too beautiful for any normal male." He had a quick slight thought before pushing it out of his mind, "Like you, stupid."

Ria chuckled at the thought. Her, a mother? How interesting that would be, no? She could barely care for herself, let alone puppies. "I've never really thought of starting a family of my own, to be honest. I wouldn't make a very good parent..."
Infact, she'd only met about 5 males in her lifetime. But she though Kage to be the sweetest of them all. He cared for her, and was willing to protect her- at the same time being a good friend. At his comments on her being beautiful, Ria grinned happily. She'd never had anywolf say such kind things about her. "Perhaps I have realized so.", she said, her tone one that she had hoped would tease Kage- in a playfull way, of course.
"But you are no normal male, now, are you?" heart

He smiled, amazed at her eyes as the light danced happily amongst them. "I can't say I'm normal," he said, giving a playful sigh. He chuckled and nudged her with his nose softly. "I think you'd make a great mother. Actually, I've never heard a bad thing from you." He looked up, thinking back the little while he'd known her. His smile didn't fade, for he realized how nice she'd been since the moment he'd met her.

He shook his head lightly, taking into notice how dark it had gotten. Neither of the others were back yet, but he wouldn't say anything- it'd only upset Ria. "My Ria," his sentence ended, though his silent commentation was totally subconscious.

"I must say, if we are to be here a while, we should tidy the place up a bit. Maybe acquire some food to quiet our stomachs. Atleast mine, ha." He grinned, turning his head to her, awaiting an answer. He was ready to do anything she wanted, something he'd never felt before.

Yawn.

It was getting late, and the blue female should be getting back. But she thought the opposite. She'd let her friends 'rest in peace', and go be weird elsewhere. She kept hearing things, they seemed to rant, and of course, she didn't want her friends going crazy about her being crazy. That sounded weird, didn't it? Ughf, now she was thinking in a weird way. Snorting a bit, Gyani continued to trot on. She was going as far away as she could from Ria, Kage and Eisig-- wherever she was.

Maybe if she started to accept them, they'd go away? After getting what they want, they'd leave-- right?
