Nicholas whistled lowly, a little gleam in his eye as he skipped along merrily, an insane giggle forming in the back of his throat.
"Nice Ideeeeeaaaa...."
He slammed his skates into the ground.
"And all will know, that the 3rd Squad of the Sereitei, gave the last breath to defend it! Shinigami! TONIGHT! WE DINE! ON HOLLOW!"
Nicholas contemplated bursting into flames, skating off as he did so to charge up his attack.
"Run rabbit, run rabbit run run run...don't give the farmer his fun, fun fun."
"DIVINE...BUSTER! BUSOU RENKIN! KAMEMAHAMAHA! HADOKEN! I will tear open your digestive system, use your intestines as a condom to faunicate with your skull! ORA!"
A wave of pure reiatsu burst forward from his palm, lighting the area with a gentle blue colour, before ripples in the water appeared, sent back by the shockwaves, the leaves in the tree blowing away in the wind.
It looked like the aftermath of a nuke explosion...
Well, not really. Nicholas' tent, held down by celestial forces, remained unmoved, as did the fire and Matsu.
Still, it looked ******** impressive.

The wind blew hard, but Matsu stayed still. "Such a big show...Looks like you should be a special effects machine in Hollywood." he said, snickering.
"Anyways...Try attacking me with that. I would like to try my Teikuumou to see if I can increase the time limit."
He got some distance between them and readied his zanpakuto. "Come on." He closed his eyes and focused. Even if he did increase the time limit, it wouldn't do much of a difference. It would probably be increased by a second, and it would take a hell of a lot of training for it to last a useful amount of time.

"Oh yes," Nicholas said casually. "Don't you know that I'm the special effects guy for all of Michael Bay's films?"
He cracked his knuckles.
"Let's. Do. This. Thang. Jason style."
He hit the ground with a run, skating at an incredible speed, drawing himself closer and closer to Matsu, before hitting a turn, twisting as the reiatsu built up around his body, raising the hairs on everyone's body as if it were static electricity.
He completed his full rotation, fist pointed directly at Matsu.
"Divine."
The ball of reiatsu swelled in size, and then broke.
"BUSTER."
Kaboom.

Matsu chuckled and got ready. When the attack was launched, he quickly thought of what he could do in the seven seconds.
"Teikuumou!" The burst of reiatsu was felt.
In those seven seconds, he did quite a bit. When the he used the attack, his zanpakuto reverted back to his sealed form. The released reiatsu made everything seem slower to him.
As he ran towards Nicholas, he ran along the side of the ball of reiatsu and began to cut through it with his zanpakuto, disrupting the reiatsu flow. He stopped before Nicholas, his zanpakuto aimed right between Nicholas's eyes.
The time was up and the ball of reiatsu exploded. It didn't affect either of them, however. "That was good. Too bad I have to wait again in order to use my shikai..."

"Oh wow..."
Nicholas' left eyebrow shot up as the quivering blade of Matsu stood before him.
"Its so big..."
"...can I touch it?"
Giggling, he skated back, hands behind his head as he twirled himself around Matsu.
"I didn't know you could slow down time there...That was pretty amazing s**t..."

Matsu chuckled a bit as he sheathed his zanpakuto. "I can't freeze time, Nicholas."
He sat down and began to explain. "You see, Teikuumou uses gravity, or pressure in this case. The large amount of released reiatsu creates a small area in which the reiatsu cretes a heavy pressure that affects everything in it."
"Of course, it doesn't affect me. Still, that preassure is so heavy that it slows down whatever is in its reach. So, my opponent is moving slower while I still move at the same speed, allowing me to quickly get to him without him noticing."
He smiled a bit at this. "However, I can't use my shikai for some amount of time after that and I can't use it for very long. I also can't extend its reach very far."

"I see..." Nicholas muttered, rubbing at his chin, a look of pure thoughtfulness on his face before he fished up his lighter and began to store some more reiatsu into it.
"So...you defy the laws of physics. Beautiful. I think I like this attack of yours."
He put his lighter away.
"I don't like the setbacks though. That kinda of attack wouldn't be useful against say...an Espada or something who can travel long distances in an instant."
Nicholas grumbled the word shunpo under his breath.
"Seems like a desperation move to me, something you should only use when nothing else works. Otherwise, you're stuck there with just a sword, whiiiich is pretty useless against the higher ups."
He nodded some more.
"I likey...the limitation, the possible choices...That's one sexy as hell shikai Matsu."

"Thanks, it is a good attack."
He stood up and began to think about how much time had passed. "It's not really a desperation move, it's more of a finishing move when you think
about it clearly."
"You see, its supposed to give me an opening to easily kill my opponent, or in some cases, just attack them."
He chuckled a bit and continued. "Still, the setbacks and having to fight higher-ups are exactly why I need to train it.Otherwise, I'll only have seven seconds to get to my opponent."
It was then when an earlier comment finally got into his head. 'Defy the laws of physics...?' he thought, while also noticing that he could reuse shikai within a few minutes.

7 seconds...
Nicholas knew from first hand experience how much s**t could go down in such a short amount of time. His original attacks usually took 5 seconds to fully sink in, and in his ranking match against Ti, he had seen just how truly ineffective they were.
"Never really gotta finish that match..."
Nicholas smiled at Matsu.
"Don't worry man! We've got plenty of time to whip your shikai and your lazy a** into gear! I bet you, in three years time, you'll be bloody UNSTOPPABLE! Might even be able to challenge Zachary or Juni or Kiba for the 2nd Seat yo."
He stretched back.
"Alright then. While you're shikais recharging, let's continue. You won't be much good if you can't fight sword to sword normally..."
Lightning crackled around him.
"DODGE!"
A shockwave of reiatsu burst out, followed shortly by Nicholas, he struck out with an uppercut.
"Exclamation. Shoryuken b***h!"

"I don't know about those guys, but they sure are on my list. One day, I will challenge them and beat them too. Still, I do have to get stronger. Anyways, I guess things will be alright for now."
He was caught by suprised by Nicholas. "What the hell?!"
He jumped back and reacted by instict. He stabbed his zanpakuto into the ground and kicked it, causing it to vibrate and clash against the shockwaves. Sure it didn't stop thtem, but it was a nice distraction.
As Nicholas tried to hit him with the uppercut, he jumped back to avoid it.

Nicholas stared as he landed.
"How on Earth did his zanpaktou stop pure reiatsu shockwaves..."
He continued forward, twisting and spinning his way around Matsu, using his superior speed and (temporary) superior strength to force him back.
"Tis kind of unfair, no? I still have my shikai and you."
He hit the ground with his gauntlet, causing the waves of reiatsu to reverberate outwards across the floor.
"You have nothing."
He exploded forward. There was only one way, after all that Matsu could dodge his attack in the short amount of time before the waves hit, and that was up.
"Wing Road."
A pure, crystalline road burst forward, elevating Nicholas up into the air.
"Divine."
Ball of reiatsu.
"BUSTER!"
Kablooey.
"DOOOOOOODGE!"

(It didnot stop it, just slow it down by like, a split-second.)
"Crap!" he said, jumping up into the air.
"True, but I'll use my shikai soon enough..."
He looked around. He knew that there was nothing that he could do to dodge the attack. However, he had never dodged any attacks before. He had only one option left...
He aimed his palm at the ball of reiatsu. A smirk appeared on his face and he got ready... "Hadou #31: Shot of Red Fire!" He fired the kidou at Nicholas' attack and the resulting explosion did harm him, but the wounds were not severe.
The explosion pushed him back and he landed on the ground. He ran forward and quickly got his zanpakuto. "Just a couple more minutes..." he mumbled under his breath.

The smoke cleared, exposing Nicholas' slightly burnt body as he charged forward, ignoring all the injuries on his body. Sure they hurt like hell, but he had more pressing matters at the moment.
Drawing a short sword from his robe, he sped up, closing in onto Matsu, before slicing out, twisting and slicing again, doing his best to keep Matsu in one place as he circled him, constantly cutting with his short sword.
"5 Second Slash!"
"5 Second Smash!"
"5 Second Stab!"
Sure, the attacks didn't work on Ti, but he was floating in the air at the time. Nicholas literally had Matsu, right where he wanted him...

Matsu knew that he couldn't stop them. As always, he decided to do one of his strange ways of attacking. He let Nicholas slash him. It did a bit less damage because he moved, but it wasn't that bad.
When Nicholas tried to do the smash, he blocked it with his zanpakuto and prevented it from doing any damage. Still, trying to pull this off right was very hard to do.
He saw Nicholas try to stab him. The moment Nicholas was close enough, he kicked up at the incoming blade to divert its direction. He quickly jumped back and got some distance between them. A bit of blood dripped from when Nicholas slashed him, but he passed his hand over it and dried most of it.
"Now, its my turn." A small smirk appeared on his face as he put his zanpakuto over his face. "Bite, Kuroi Kiba!" His zanpakuto transformed and he had use of his shikai once more.

((Stoppy time. Time-skips kicking in now))
Nicholas skidded to a stop, one hand raised in a "Stop" position, the other on his stomach.
"I'm hungry."
There was an awkward pause.
"I'm going to have to call this session to a stop now. Food is of course, more important than fighting. Shall we continue this later ((say...in 3 years?))"
Nicholas smiled pleasantly, shikai fading away back into his trademark longsword, before he skipped off.
