Edward looked at her adn smiled slightly, the dfirst time he had in a while. "Well, I like to read people's minds, life is much more difficult without it, especially talking to people. Besides, its kind of fun to know what people are thinking, except other times it really sucks and you want them to shut up about a certain thing, but there is almost no way to not hear them. The best you can do is egnore them." he sighed looking up at her.

Kate continued to watch the happenings of the others. She was absentmindedly tugging at the roots of the pine tree she was sitting against. When the tree started uprooting, she got up sharply and forced it back into the ground, a bit embarrassed, although she did it often.

Rin excused herself from the gathering and ran inside. She felt in the way, and unwanted, but did not want anyone to know. Once in the house she ran upstairs to the room she had been using for the past couple years. The door closed behind her and she froze, the smell of Edward hit her nose. Why had he been in her room? Why had he touched her bed? She moved incredibility slow over to the shelves of music and took out one of her favorite CDs. It was recorded by an infamous musical graduate, but she loved the sound, so she pushed it into the CD player and hit start. She had found the CD in the collection during her first week here and it had stayed in her mind ever since.

((here I am du du du daaa....errr yeah sorry I've not posted, been Uber busy with state testing and my family *sigh* and OMG you saw twilight!! OMG I'm going to see this friday! WEEEEE!!!! mother says "just another thing to fuel her twilight obsession" *snickers* WEEEE!!!!!!!!))
Tanya though about what he had said "well I suppose it makes sense" she said softly "you can stay here as long as you need edward" she grinned a him
Eclipse looked out the window and saw kate uproot the tree, she giggled and walked out to her, "hi, I'm Eclipse" she said bowing before giggling again, she felt an odd fondness for this girl, much more then edward
'she's so cute...wait what am I thinking? Edward is cute not her...thats...whats wrong with me?' she argued in her head
"you do this often?" she snickered "ah don't worry I'd done it a few times myself" she giggled

((it okay, but i prob wont be on until monday, fyi.... i gots to go to my grandma's for Thanksgiving and i dont think i can be on the net much....))
Edward smiled at Tanya slightly. "Now, don't be gettign the wrong idea in your head. I honestly think I might be staying here a while though." he chuckled, looking at her face.

Kate looked up abruptly. "Oh, Hello Eclipse. Sorry I haven't formally introduced my self to you. I'm Kate. Tanya's sister." She offered her hand for Eclipse to shake. "And yeah, I don't realize what I am doing, and I end up digging the dirt out from underneath the tree.." Kate gave a slight laugh.

"nice to meet you" Eclipse said taking her hand, holding it longer then necessary, she looked away and pretended to scan the forest to hide her sudden shyness, is she could blush her face would be bright red
she reached her hand out and motioned towards the woods "would you like to take a walk with me?"

Eclipse's red eyes shifted to black when kate said that "maybe we should walk near...errr some animal.... I've just started this errrr.....diet, I've never had an animal blood before I've only ever had human, but I hate that I have to kill people...its just bad!" she said walking into the forest with kate

Kate shrugged. "Sure, I'll help find you some animals to hunt." She smiled. "We mainly keep to ourselves here, go on longer trips for a change of scenery sometimes. Basically, we enjoy life in this frozen tundra without affecting the human population, being how distant it is." Kate explained.

eclipse grinned and sniffed the air, there was a faint sent of human from the road but there was a cougar close by, eclipse frowned "sure doesn't smell very good..."
"but it must get boring out here all alone" she said smiling shyly at Kate stepping slightly closer to her
