Etsu blushed greatly at her words, and felt her eyes dart toward the ground. Her heart pushed at her chest, as if begging release from its cage and to go to its rightful owner, the lioness standing right across from her. Was this what love felt like? She'd never known before...
But something told her that it was right, and that it wasn't her mind trying to trick into more unhappiness. "I... Uhm.... I think I love you, too."

Zarah relaxed as the female said the same thing, she moved a little closer to her a smiled softly at the idea, still staring out into the water. "Mmm..." She grinned softly before nuzzling her. "Well, I don't know that much about love... I guess you can say, however... We could give this a try, I'd love to stay here, just here with you. I might have my father move a little closer to around here..." She grinned at her then chuckled slightly. "What do you think love?" She liked the way that sounded, everything she just said even the 'love' part.

Etsu's eyes darted back up to the lioness, the gentle smile on her face but her eyes dancing with genuine happiness that had never found its home there. "Oh, I'd absolutely love to stay here. Leaving my pride... My family..." Her mind ran wild, and she fought a moment to bring herself back down to earth. "I think it would be fabulous, love."

Zarah's heart fluttered at Etsu's words, she nuzzled her softly then chuckled softly. She batted at one of the strings from the robe then chuckled slightly. "Great. Welcome home then." She grinned then bumped her nose against the other female's gently.

Etsu grinned and nuzzled her, feeling more fulfilled than she had at any other point in her life. "Home..."

Zarah grinned as she looked over at her shoulder at her father. She was glad that he was understanding to her wanting a female mate. Of thank god that he understood. He had heard of some whose's parents wanted nothing to do with them because of things like that. "Come on old man, not that much further." She called over her shoulder with a grin pushing her way through the jungle that she called home, heading toward that large lake.
"Alright, Alright I'm coming." Zaff chuckled slightly at his oldest daughter. The old male pushed his way though. He was holding so close to the three daughters of his that were still alive, looking so much like their mother... But now he knew he couldn't hold on to them as much as he wanted too... So here he was following behind his daughter through the jungle to meet her mate. Something about it made him happy but at the same time it had this sad touch to it....
Zarah looked back at her father once more with a smile before bouncing forward more. He could already smell Etsu it was making her want to move faster but she knew if she did she would loose her father in the bush of the jungle. She pushed her way through some bushes and to the lake, looking over it with a smile. "Love?" She called out, wondering where Etsu could be.

Etsu's ears were up at the calling of her name, and her head popped up from behind a grouping of bushes right along the forest edge, "Zarah~?" She shook some leaves from her coat and straightened her kimono top, making sure it wasn't too badly rumpled from her digging around in those bushes.

Zarah grinned as soon as she heard and saw Etsu. She grinned and trotted over to her with her father not that far behind her. She nuzzled Etsu gently before nodding. "Hello love, this is my father, I wanted you two to meet." She grinned as she looked back at her father then at Etsu again. "Etsu this is my father Zaff, daddy this is Etsu." She looked at her father who nodded deeply to the female.
"It is nice to finally meet you Etsu, I've heard a lot of good things about you."
Zarah was so good that her father was okay with her having a female mate, so glad.

As she pranced out from behind the bushes, she bowed to the male. "It's a pleasure to meet you as well, sir." Her actions and tone hinted at returning to her former personality, greeting her mate's father the way she had been taught to meet her elders.

A warm smile grew on Zaff's face as he nodded to the female. A small purr rumbling out of his maw. He shifted back on his haunches, his mane falling over his face some, before he flipped it out of his eyes and then nodded to the female. "So, where did you come from?" The questions were bound to come from him.
Zarah chuckled slightly at her mate and at her father, settling in between the two, not wanting to sit next to one or the other, instead making them both happy and sitting between them.

She watched him intently and felt her heart speed up as he asked her the question... She wasn't that great at meeting others. "Er, well, I'm from the Dragon Lands, up north a ways... But my ties there are only by half blood by relation of my mother."

Zaff smiled softly at the female's responce. "Ah. I have been by there once before." He had been a lot of places. He licked his lips before letting out a small sigh. "I'm glad to see that you are getting along with my daughter well. I hope you two are taking care of eachother." He looked at Zarah who gave him a wide grin.

Zaff chuckled slightly, feeling the awkwardness that was going on. It was making him feel a little bad but he shrugged it off and smiled lightly at her. "Well that is very good." He looked over at his daughter once more who was still smiling up a storm. "Do you two have any plans?" He asked nodding to the both of them, however when Zarah went to speak he shot her a look he wanted to hear if Etsu had something to say about it, he wanted to know if there was any plans. He arched a brow for a moment.
