Adele Rystda "Kekeke...this is awesome!" Adele skipped around the party, being her usual quirky self but still keeping an eye out. She was prone to rashness, but she wasn't stupid. Her frame felt unusually light without the massive axe she was so accustomed to carrying. She felt almost naked without it, but the Lady had said no weapons, and she wasn't going to defy that. All the gatherers seemed to be enjoying the recently-started party. Adele wasn't much for parties, herself; crowds always bugged her. So Adele kept her distance a bit, just happily skipping as she would stop by any given person occasionally to make some inane comment on his or her costume. She, herself, was unadorned, costumes seemed stupid and she just wasn't going to wear one. As she skipped, she wasn't the most aware. So it was quite a bit of a jolt when she bumped into a man, falling onto her butt on the ground. As she looked up at him, that weird man who'd recently joined with the weird mask, she was irate. "Wha....hey, watch where you're goin'!" Siegell oofed as he was struck by a berserker, and it was only the balance he had developed over decades in a Wyvern's saddle that kept him from becoming horizontal. He brushed off his sleeve and cape, then adjusted his mask, which had fallen into a slightly uncomfortable position. "I was watching where I was going, moron. You hit me from the side." He turned to face her, crossing his arms and narrowing his eyes.

The Wind Sage flicked crimson eyes down to look upon the wolf who seemed to be addressing him with it's barks. He nodded briefly, aknowledging the greeting. His eyes found their way back to his friend. He knew he could get through to her. The question was, could he manage it tonight? Scarlet orbs narrowed to slits when he heard the creature beside her speak. 'Tacitus...'
"Oh, Sue...What are you thinking..."
His voice was low, and the ditance between them was enough that she should not hear him. But he somehow knew...she'd feel the words. She would feel him there. They had grown so close. It could not be over yet.

After a moment's debate and a glance around, a certain bishop entered the room. . . Renault looked quite dashing, and, oddly, quite a bit younger than he had earlier. A slight, forced smile crossed his lips. . . damn it, he hated occasions like this, they were a bit. . . overdone. He couldn't see anyone interesting who wasn't already spoken for, either, at least from this angle. Leila had already informed him that she would not be here tonight. A shame. He thought it likely that, just as at the last party this place had hosted, he would be one of the few left out.
Stefan's voice caught his ear, and he moved over towards the swordmaster. "I think it's ridiculous, of course. Who would spend so much on something so trivial?" He paused, then looked away. "Of course, being the oldest one in the room does not do much for me, either. . ."

(OOC: Augh, I make one post, and everyone else makes a bazillion! razz )
Rhys looked over at Rei.
"Um..." Rhys paused for a moment, staring at a portion of wall just above Rei's head.
Then after pausing awkwardly and giving a wave to Madrianna, Rhys turned back to Amelia.
"Petalsyousaid? Goodjob! ItsoundslikeyoudidtheHostClubproud!"
As long as I keep Rei from talking, he can't ask me, right? ...RIGHT?

Amelia smiled. "The whole roses, actually. I managed to get a contraption rigged up to blow out roses when I pressed a button," she said, producing the trigger in question. "It won't do anything now, unless we reset the contraption. I don't know quite how it works beyond that, I don't know much about that. I had a few people help me do it."

Roy smiled when Alcyone agreed to his request. "Perfect." he said softly. He took her by the hand and led her towards the dance area. He looked up at the orchestra and motioned for them to play a slow song or two once the song they were playing was finished and get the lights working. He hoped the Host Club wouldn't mind that, for it could present a few couples in the party the opportunity to have a dance with their loved one. Heck...this would benefit them all.

Ed patted the ground excitedly as she was acknowledged. Unable to contain her lupine exhiliration, the wolf bounded up and bounced over to a table for a drink. She rose onto her hind legs and clung to the side of the table, grabbing a cup with her jaws and pulling it close to herself. Ed let go and watched it spin back into balance. Panting, she looked over at the punch bowl, wondering how to get that punch into that cup without reverting to her default form.

Phazonite "Of course not. Not getting killed is something I'm quite good at. Keeping you that way shouldn't be much harder." Stefan surveyed the guests as well. He didn't expect more than some verbal bashing from most of the Resistance. It didn't matter though. As long as he and Vaherianslyeri didn't attack them, they could do as they wished for all they cared. The Morphs however... Grishelda was an obvious threat that should be avoided. Madrianna herself of course. But what of the other morphs? He didn't want another encounter with Maln, that was certain, but the rest didn't strike him as overly threatening. And then something else hit him, "What do you think Father Renault would make of this?"
Or Weiss either, while she thought about it.
Thank goodness.
She turned back when he mentioned the priest's name. His argument made a lot of sense, and she nodded- hesitantly, at first, then with slightly more conviction.
"I do believe..."
Her sentence was cut of by Renault's voice, and it was all she could do to step momentarily back.
"Father Renault. I apologize. I did not see you there."

As Adele stood up and dusted herself off, her mood was no better. "Hey! I'm not a moron! You take that back!" She huffed a bit before finally calming down; she wasn't going to let some dummy ruin her night.
"Fine, I'll let you go...this time! Say, what's yer name, anyway? I'm Adele, I don't think we've met!"

Sue had indeed heard the words of Older Soren, but those words didn't make sense, like these memories she was having of the others. Especially the silly things they said during their support conversations.
"Conquerers... ... of FEF." She thought. "He's... part. ... different... pairings? I don't... understand."

Maln walked into the party to where people could see him if they wanted. He didn't say a word, and just stood still and diligent.
