Gaara and Itachi are tied for first place, Sasuke, Neiji and Shikamaru* are tied for second, and Naruto is in third place. I'm bad at picking between them. I also love Haku and Zabuza. 3nodding xd (I've only watched a portion of the series, so I haven't seen some characters in action, so my opinion will probably change a bit in the future.)
(*A friend of mine refers to Shikamaru as 'my sexy lazy guy'. xd )

i am a 1000000000000% Gaara fan!!! he's just so cute when he's little and i feel soo bad for him because he was so hated crying
then itachi as a close second. i named my stuffed panda after him ^.^

::sighs:: this is always the hardest question, because i like almost every character in Naruto the same! sweatdrop
well, if i had to choose a top 5 (hey, thats as simplified as i can make it in my case XD)...it would be Itachi, Sasuke, Neji, kakashi, and then JIRAIYA!!! <--- he's awesome. xd

Gods, it was so hard to choose! I said Kakashi, because today, Kakashi is my favourite character (just rewatched the episode where they tried to find out Kakashi's true face. SUCH a crack episode, but I love it. 3nodding ).
But then, I also love Gaara, because he's so troubled, because he's been through so much. Sasuke I like as well, for much the same reason, because he wants so much to be worth something and I can relate to that feeling.
And then of course Orochimaru is a total bad a**. ^^
But I also admire Shikamaru.
See? I'm hopeless. ^_^

Whoops! I forgot about Haku!!! *Beats herself over the head* Dammit, I LOVE Haku! He's so TRAGIC *Bawls eyes out* Zabuza, I love him for how he was at the end. What he did....
