Mad...at him. Was he insane?
"I c-co-c-could n-n-never..." Well, she could...but it sure wouldn't last for long...in this case, it was silly to be angry with him. Gently, she caressed his head and hair, keeping him close and trying to comfort him.
"I-I-It's...it's okay, Lee..." She mumbled, bowing her head against his, watching their hair mingle. Pretty. She didn't pay much attention to it for long, keeping her paws moving to stroke his hair and shoulders.

"Thank you, Ellie." he said quietly wrapping his arms tight around her. He then sighed and nuzzled her gently. "Its funny...kissing you is the only time a kiss has ever felt right...like it meant something...before...before it just was something that I was expected to do...but with you...I want to kiss you, hold you, keep you close and safe, make lo-"he cut that off and shook his head. "Just want to be close to you." he said.
"I'll never leave you again, Ellie..." he said to her. "Never...not again..."
