Is this a good idea...?
  Yes, it seems like fun!
No, what kind of idiot would come up with this?
  Meh, whatever.

Translate: Today's god is tomorrow's devil.

今日の神様は明日の悪魔になる。(日本語)
Kyou-no kamisama-wa ashita-no akuma-ni naru. (Japanese)

Literally: "The's g-d of today will become the devil of tomorrow."

For some reason, it seems strange to say that one is the other. I think the time aspect makes me feel more comfortable with the translation I put.

Eccentric Iconoclast
"To err is human,"

My personal translation:
日本語: 誤ることは人間性である。
Japanese: Ayamaru koto wa ningensei dearu.
Literal: To err is human nature.

The dictionary's way of phrasing it:
日本語: 過つは人の常。
Japanese: Ayamatsu wa hito no toko.
Literal: To err is a person's 'habit.'
Er... the last word doesn't quite translate. The definition they gave was something along the lines of "never changing, eternal state."

Eccentric Iconoclast
"We're not learning for school, but for life."

日本語: 学校より、人生の為に知識を得る
Japanese: Gakkou yori, jinsei no tame ni chishiki wo eru.
Literal: We attain knowledge for the sake of life, rather than for school.

Translate: Knowlege is the key to the future.

日本語 - にほんご
Nihongo - Japanese

知識は未来を開く鍵です。
ちしきはみらいをひらくかぎです。
Chishiki wa mirai wo hiraku kagi desu.

Literally: Knowledge is the key which opens the future.

Tu madre es groseramente obesa.

Por lo menos mi madre de buena estema cabe en mi casa, a diferencia de la tuya.

Por favor, no le insulte a la condicion medica de mi madre.

How about this one:
No quiero que digas cosas obscenas sobre las madres, porque tengo repseto por la mia. Y tambien es degradante a las mujeres.
In plain English, let's not get carried away. cool
