Mishaweha took it upon herself to welcome the newcomer, standing up from her seat at the table. "No, no, you're not intruding at all. I'm sure The Lady sent the fly to guide you as much as she sent the bandage to bring me here," she spoke easily, even with the gentle buzz of her words being translated. She didn't appeared phased about the mention of the fly, nor her mention of the bandage that led her here. (Perhaps this was because she accepted the inanity at hand, and was desperately hoping it was a dream; even if it was not a dream, she still found it absurd to be so near the humans that called her an enemy. Did it matter what she said in front of them when they would likely (in another universe) attack her? Misha thought not, and therefore attempted to brush aside her shyness and fear. Or maybe while in the presence of The Lady her confidence soared.)
"My name is Mishaweha," she said, using the newcomer as an opportunity to introduce herself. "I am a Tauren of Thunder Bluff. ... On the world of Azeroth." She added the planet as an afterthought. If it were true (as she knew it must be, deep down) that everyone was from a different planet, then being from 'Thunder Bluff' would mean little to them.
She glanced at the man at the door, and then at the others around the table, as if to indicate they should introduce themselves to her (who had missed out on many of the previous introductions). Of at least speak.

Jonathan eyed the newcomer from his seat but didn't say anything to him, right now he just wanted more answers from this so called 'Lady.' When the cow looking thing mentioned being from the thunder plains and a planet name, he wasn't surprised at this. With all of the non-sence that was going on, plus with the mention of the universe, it wasn't surrprising that she was from another planet.
He turned his attention back to the Lady and waited for a responce.

(( Erks, was hoping more people would post before going on, but oh wells.))
Jade made a face when Ian entered the room. The newcomer was obviously some other person from some other world because she definitely did not seen anyone like that on her world. That went for... the cow too.
--
The Lady sighed and beckoned for someone to fetch Ian food. "Welcome," she said softly.
Johnathan was staring daggers at her, not that it made her react quicker. But a good number of the people looked like they wanted to know.
She summarized the situation, and hoped she wouldn't have to do it again for the other late newcomer that would be coming.
"Simply put, the universe is in danger, and you have been chosen to save the world. How? You must find the artifacts. Together, they will be able to unlock a power great enough to stabilize the world."

((Well, I'm sure they all can catch up, yeah?))
Mishaweha sat back down as The Lady spoke again, feeling slightly out of place. Perhaps it was because all the humans were so small, or that it felt like she spoke out of turn, as she was prone to when discussing matters with the elders.
But now they were back to speaking of the matter at hand; saving the universe.
"Artifacts... well that sounds standard enough," the Tauren mused. And indeed, oft times she and her companions were sent out to find ancient relics, usually covered with runes she didn't understand that would stop some ancient evil from rising to power. She was amazed at how often relics kept power in check; but the ancient and/or arcane magics they possessed were usually beyond her grasp.
She stopped reminiscing and came back to the matter at hand. "These... artifacts. Do we know what they look like? Or how to find them? Or even a general location of where they are?" she asked in quick succession. Even on her own quests (which paled in comparison to this), the Tauren was always given a detailed description of what they looked like and where to find them. The areas in which they were located were small, and usually the ancients seemed to leave them scattered all over the place.
Somehow, Misha doubted that this treasure hunt would be as simple.

Hearing about the artifacts wasn't enough. Along with the questions Mishaewha asked, they also needed to know what they were supposed to do with the artifacts. After all, it would be useless to have all of them gathered and not know what they were to do with them. "Another question, what are supposed to do with the said artifacts once we find them? Bring them back here?" He added to the list of questions.
For some reason or another, he couldn't help but feel like the lady was being vague with her answers; this didn't make him feel anymore at ease than he was before he had gotten to the room.

The Lady nodded slowly. The visitors were eager, but that was understandable since they were probably totally confused. "Yes, bring the artifacts back. I know how to release their power once they are all gathered.
The artifacts can be anything and any shape. Once you find one artifact, it can be used as a detector for the others artifacts since it reacts in some way when it is close to another artifact."
The problem was the first artifact. The Lady knew there was some vague line in a prophecy that hinted at the first artifact. She was sure they were going to ask how to find the first artifact without any detectors.

The Lady's suspicion was correct.
Mishaweha had quickly absorbed the knowledge on how they would find the artifacts. Self-finding things were always helpful; she knew some of her friends used such objects to easily locate medicinal herbs. However, she did not overlook the fact they currently did not have an artifact.
She was the first to ask. "How do we find the first artifact, then?"

Jonathan's earlier assumption had been correct. Before he had added his question to the list of questions for the lady had answered, he had assumed that the artifacts were in somewhere else other than here. This would be something he would normally see as common sence, she wouldn't have need to summon them here in the first place. Unless the Lady was just that lazy or that sick. 'It would be pretty pointless for her to have summoned us if the artifacts were down the hall and too the left.' Still, with what he had seen here so far, he wasn't sure just howmuch he could rely on common sences.
Unlike Mishaweha, Jonathan had assumed from the Lady's last statmetn that she had the first Artifact that they needed to find the rest of them, and that she would give them the said Artifact. However, whe he heard Mishaweha's question he questioned his own assumption. 'If we don't have that first Artifact, then we minus well be chasing a ghost.....'
Now that Jonathan thought about it, where exactly was here anyways? Mishaweha had only proved that, at least she, was from a diffrent planet. 'A planet full of cow-people.....must all be vegiterians.' "If you don't mind me asking, where exactly IS here?"

Hope listened to everyone, studying each in turn as they spoke. Nodding to the green-haired... well, man for lack of a better word. At least he appeared male, but she had certainly never seen a man with pointy ears and green hair before.
There was a lot to absorb, that was true. The entire universe in danger, sentient beings on other planets, the great honor of being chosen to hunt the artifacts. Still, she agreed with Jonathan. She would much rather start out as soon as possible. They could get to know each other as they went.
Her reverie was interrupted by Mishaweha and Jonathan's questions. She turned to the Lady expectantly waiting for an answer.

((I did not make the lines up. Credit goes to whoever did it, and I won't say anything about that so it sounds more mysterious))
So many questions. The Lady could understand how confused they were, but didn't they know that bombarding her with questions and not giving her enough to answer would be poor thinking?
The Lady sighed. "Well, we are an area known as "The End of the Universe", a void in time and space. Essentially, it is just another world, just as how you all came from different ones."
She paused to take a few breaths, hoping to fit in the second answer before anyone asked another question. "There is a clue to one of the artifacts in an old prophecy. It goes:
Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name Mother of Exiles. From her beacon-hand Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command I lift my lamp beside the golden door! Search for the beacon that lights the floor..."

Upon hearing the word of the Lady, Jonathan repeated the poem a few times in his head and memorized it for later. At this point, it was all they had to find the first artifact, so he made sure that he had it completely memorized. He was also trying to pick it apart to see if it would yeild the location of the first artifact.
He knew it wasn't likly that he would find the location like this alone, he had no idea what the context of the poem was, but on the off chance that he somehow would find the answer, he kept on trying.
Though having something more specific would be helpfull, he wasn't going to complain. This was the basis of a solo covert scouting mission and some of the more secretive sneaking missions. 'Now all we need to worry about is transport.' He thought.

"My Lady," Hope paused.
"My Lady, I do not know how many worlds there are with sentient life so I can not know our odds, but do you have any idea what planet this clue is referring to? If so, how soon can we start for it? If not, then first - can you narrow it down at all and second - how soon can we set out narrowing it down?
I'd really like to set off as soon as possible."

(( I had a hunch of what it was, so I googled it and I was right. :3 Nice choice. Now to make sure I don't use that knowledge for evil... ))
Mishaweha blinked several times when The Lady said where they were. It sounded... mysterious. Ominous. Certainly more strange than anything on Azeroth, or even the worlds the others came from. But there was little time to ponder where they were (and who, exactly, they were with), for she continued on with information much more important for their quest.
The tauren listened attentively as The Lady spoke the cryptic poem. Mishaweha wondered if something had been lost in the magical translation she was subject to; the passage made little sense.
As Mishaweha pondered the words, another spoke up. The human woman raised some valid questions.
"Yes; and before we go could we get a written copy of the prophecy...?" Mishaweha added absentmindedly, and then looked slight abashed. The Lady had just scolded them for asking too many questions and here she was, asking another.

Jonathan had been repeating the poem in his head over and over again, so by the time they asked for a written copy he had already memorized it. However, a written copy would be more relaiable then his memory.
He couldn't think of anything else to ask or anything that they might need to know, so he stayed silent and waited for the others to ask questions.
