| Personality: Sophiette Alabaster Cullen-Hale-Avarice, that's the name she's decided is all hers. l3 Alabaster is apparently a dignified enough middle name that it may be adopted at will, and poor grandma Avarice has got to be remembered some how. Sophie has a crazy imagination, and not shy about showing it, especially in a manner of... vampiristic means. Namely, she has the ability to mentally send images, moving pictures actually, into other people's minds. They intercept the brain's communications to the eyes and add in what she'd like you to see (at least that's what Old Grampy Will says). So her imaginary friends? They're your imaginary friends too. Get used to it. ;3 We're all mad here.
Sophie adores her mum, respects her dad, and follows around her brothers like they should be the ones following her. l3 In truth, she's the family princess and is often protected and spoiled.

| Personality: Scout is a master of multitasking. Like her more infamous father she has a great deal of eccentric quirks, and is hard to keep up with, both mentally and physically, but especially the former. Conversations with her seem to have no connecting ties, and following her around while she speaks will most certainly leave you out of breath. Even as a kit her intellectual stimulation is hardly lacking, because there is so much yet for her to discover, but it is possible that if left unguided she could fall prey to her father's vices in times of sheer boredom. She already has a fascination with physical fights and the sciences.
A textbook narcissist, especially when it comes to any and all intellectual achievements, she is ever patronizing and calculating. Still, it's obvious she could not be mistaken for the heartless automotive her father often is, in manners of the heart she tends to lean towards Watson's romanticized view - despite her protests to the contrary. While Holmes' humour is often rather sardonic, Deryn has a more pawky sense in it's stead. (> 3> Damnit Firefox, pawky is so a word. It's a dry wit of sorts, shrewd, sarcastic ,and Watson-ish.)
As she grows, Scout is quickly becoming absolutely terrifying when bored. Remind you of anyone? While singlestick playing is a bit out of fashion, and boxing just isn't as fun as it used to be, she is fast becoming a good swordsman, chemist, geologist, lawyer, and a passable botanist as well. Her knowledge of literature is coming along, by her own designs of course, but she thinks nothing of philosophy or astronomy. Finally, she's not very artistically inclined, especially not when it comes to music. Beyond appreciation of the visual and musical arts, nothing.
| History:
As of yet, Deryn and her brother Beckett are homeless orphans, but know enough to take care of themselves and are unwilling to have it any other way. Certainly they have parents somewhere, but aren't looking. She can read, but she cannot write, and will not learn until Watson kindly teaches her. (lD ohdearohdear) She's not generally seen with Becket very often, but as kits they've been taken on as Baker Street Irregulars, given a bit of a wage and a fatherly pat on the head by the number one consulting detective. It frustrates her clearly, taking orders, but for now it's tolerable.

| Personality: Jemma is definitely extraverted, and has a seemingly boundless supply of energy and enthusiasm. It's this that motivates others around her into action; she can sell anyone on the craziest of plans, but becomes upset and stifled when faced with the mundane and repetitive. She is typically fast-moving; quick to make decisions and take action, quick to move on to the next thing.
She's got a natural ability to perceive people's attitudes and motivations, and uses it to get what she wants since it tends to leave her a couple steps ahead. Not exactly a rule follower because of this, but she has her own principals that she never abandons. Most of the time her "do it and get on with it" attitude takes precedence over other people's rules. She doesn't tend to take others' feelings into account either, and can be hurtful without realizing it.
Lastly, Jay will develop a strong flair for drama and style. She's fast-moving and fast-talking, a bit of a party girl for sure. Not really a plan-ahead kind of girl though, she's impatient with theory and doesn't trust in instinct - her own or other people's. Overall, she just loves to have fun and is fun to be around, but this can tire a lot of people out.

Not quite sure what to say, Fletch narrows his eyes and flicks his ears back, holding perfectly still otherwise. "What was that?" The question is repeated, and he relaxes near-imperceptibly, presumably having had enough time to think on it now. "I hope to be... memorable, at the very least."

Fletcher snorts at this, waving a paw dismissively. "They are noisy and lonely and far too many." A small smirk plays on his mouth as he considers his own answer, then nods.
