The young girls heart would be crushed to hear he was comparing her gentle hold to that of his children. But then she didn't even know he had kids.
Phiona looked up at him, not really wanting to let go of him, but the thought of a hula dance was sounding pretty good. "Yeah!" She smiled, releasing her grip on the adult.

When she let go Hula Bob got ready. He smiled and pointed to his hips. "Just like in surfing it's all in the hips." He winked as he began to dance along with the music. He moved his arms and hands as well because in a hula the body told the story. "Try!"

Fi giggled, she was better at hula dancing than slow dancing. She smiled, dancing with him. Her dance was speaking a story of love for him, not that he'd notice it. It looked more like a fun time than a story told dance.
"This is a lot easier than surfing." The faun smiled, going along with the beat.

Hula Bob chuckled. "Really? But you are such a natural surfer!" Hula Bob loved surfing to be sure, but the hula was really was he was good at. Why be named after something you couldn't do? Then again he was also a great cook and bartender. Hula Bob was glad to hear someone else like and was good at things like him. It was fun to have company.

"I can never get back out of the water alone after I crash." She giggled, smiling at him. But this hula dance was really fun! She laughed and had a merry time during the hula dance, wondering if she was doing it correctly or not but not really caring.

Hula Bob frowned. "Ah, that's a bummer. You know what I say? You always have to get back out there. No matter what the tide gives you, you have to learn and keep going." He told her with a nod. He didn't want Fi to give up just because she wiped out once. Hula Bob had many of times and he never gave up.

She shook her head. "I never said I wasn't gonna keep riding waves cause I keep wiping out." Fi smiled, she liked surfing, she really liked it. Almost as much as she liked Hula Bob, which was saying something because she really liked Hula Bob.

Hula Bob nodded. "Awesome." he shook his head as he had took what she meant wrong. He must have been getting way to into his dancing or something. "I can go with you some time if you would like." Maybe that's what she had meant. He was fine with that. He loved surfing and looking out for Fi would be nice.

She smiled, liking it even more when Hula Bob went surfing with her. "I'd love that!" Fi giggled, looking up at him once more. The teen loved surfing, and even more so when she had the man she was currently dancing with out there with her. Even if it was only for safety measures.

Hula Bob smiled. "Alright. Now that the storm is over I wonder what the water will be like? The ocean is pretty new to me." He was used to his non-changing beach by the lake, but now who knows. Would there be snow? Or were they still too tropical? Either way it would be fun finding out.

"Who knows, the sea is a fickle mistress." She replied, serious for once. Usually Fi wasn't good at smart and the fact that she had said something true was just amazing. But then it wasn't at the same time. "Maybe we'll get snow out here." The teen smiled, looking up at him.

Hula Bob smiled. "I've never much liked snow. I prefer white sands...then again I've not seen much." He was just so much about the beach and warm weather. He couldn't see the fun of snow like others did. He remembered Jazz's boys playing in the snow that was just off the beach. He watched them make a snowman that made him make a sandman. The demon chuckled at his thoughts.

Fi had never made a snowman or even a sandman before. The thought would be interesting to say the least. But wait, he said he didn't like snow.. Did that mean he didn't like the cold either? Well, that didn't matter too much, she was much more of a tropical weather fan than anything. The best she could hope for was good weather the rest of the year.
Oh the thought made her head spin, warm weather, guy she was pretty sure meant more to her than anyone else ever would, and surfing. That was a dream she thought she could have, even if she didn't know Bob didn't think of her that way.
(( I think it's probably a good time to wrap this up, with her growth and it being december and all x.x ))

Hula Bob smiled at Fi as the song was over. "Well, that was a totally awesome dance. Thanks so much dudette. Would you like anything else?" He asked as he headed back over to the bar. He made himself up a nice Halloween drink in the spirit of the day.

She looked outside, it was getting dark.. Maybe she should be getting home? "Um... No.. I should probably be getting home..." Fi mumbled, not really wanting to go. But it was late, she needed to else she wouldn't make it back before she got too tired and fell asleep randomly outside.
The female looked up at Bob, having followed him to the bar. "See you on the waves soon?" She smiled, intending on coming back very very soon.
