Clean vocals make me happy. I enjoy some 'not so clean' vocals, but I can't stand most harsh and/or growls. I enjoy vocals like Ensiferum, Saurom and Mago de Oz.

I don't really have a preference for vocals, so long as it fits. It's really more about the music and riffs for me, I can easily get past the vocals.

I agree with War Starter, I can easily tune out vocals. As far as Folk, I like a melodic kind of harsh vocals, kinda like Turisas has. I dunno how to describe it really, but Ensiferum kinda has it too.

I don't really mind what the vocals are like, but I suppose I like the melodic vocals of Turisas, Ensiferum, Heidevolk best although I love the gruff vocals of Korpilaani confused
My favourite thing about folk metal is the music, I just love folk music, especially celtic. The catchy tunes get me, like the riff at the beginning of Tale of Revenge - Ensiferum GAHH folk metal rules, I just love it xd heart

That's what I mean in my previous post. Not so clean vocals. Tey are kinda harsh vocals, but you still get to understand what they're singing.
