G_E nodded, and obediantly didn't say anymore, besides, the look on Ice's face and the tone of her voice told her everything she needed to know. She sighed and clutched Nika tighter to her side, in a bear hug.
She walked in the direction of her little house, that Scagg had built.
Nika stared at Gee worriedly as she carried him towards what he guessed was his home. The firecrackers had stopped coming, nobody had suffered any horrible damage.. Why did she look so frightened? He shrugged and pulled Bizzy off of her head, placing her on his own head.
Now that was enough! She'd had enough of this. First she'd been rudely awoken by her mother, and now she'd just fallen asleep again when he decided she would be much better off on his head. This had to stop! How could she get her rest when everybody was so obviously over-reacting? It was just a bunch of sparks, know reason to get too excited about.
The next person to wake her up was going to get it... there was know doubt about it.
((I bet Ober could take Silva. Hehe... whee ))

He was getting irritated with all the screaming. It was stupid if you asked him, it was just a few sparks. Now if it had been HIS handywork they would have something to scream about. Not that he did that kind of stuff anymore... ...Often... The mask in Cinderfae's arms started to throb, a strange almost ghost of a flame dancing around it as he started waking up. His guardian was holding him too tightly, he couldn't breathe. And he really wanted to yell at them all for acting like idiots. Besides, he could sense the fire... it felt goooood.... Suddenly the mask caught on fire, making Cin almost scream before the fire was gone, a boy standing in her arms looking irritable. You mind? I can't breathe...((And Fire is here! I'll change light when I come up with something^_^ He's a cowboy! Sweeeet^_^))

*Cin stood looking at the boy that had just popped up beside her, her eyes wide.*
You couldn't breathe? *Cinder gets down on her knees looking the boy over more closely* Are you alright? *she said this as she ruffled his hair*
Of course I am alright now! *watches Cin closely* You aren't going to get all worried over me are you? I can take care of myself and now that I can breath, I am doing just fine. *straightens the collar of his duster and looks around* So, uhm what is this place?
*A worried expression came over Cinder's face, the other masques had remembered things...hadn't they?*
This is masquarade, the planet you once lived on.
What do you mean by once...I am living now, though there is something strange or different. I can't seem to put my finger on it. *sighs* But this looks interesting, how did it happen. *Kasai leans in the doorway of Cin's house inspecting the smoldering firecracker.*
I am not sure about those either. *gives a slight smile* I think the sisters may have had something to do with it.
Sisters? Sounds like they could be interesting. *Kasai's eyes twinkle mischiviously*
Well one of them got hurt during this whole thing...I hope we can figure out what happened.
The getting themselves hurt I am sure was not part of the plan. *looks over at the mess caused by the firecracker* Let's get that cleaned up...you look tired.
*moving as if in limbo Cin went and got some supplies to clean up the mess in her house caused by the firework. She was going to have to talk to Scagg or something about getting the window fixed tomorrow...hopefully it wouldn't rain tonight.*
*looking over at her new boy she smiled as she saw him rub his eyes as if he was tired*
Come on you...wait a moment, do you know your name?
Name? *blinks a bit* Not sure if this is it...but call me Kasai! *smiles*
*scoops Kas up into her arms*
Alright Kasai, it is time for bed. *carries him into a room she had prepared for him* Tomorrow you will meet the others, but for now I think you should get some rest. *tucks him in*
You're going to leave now aren't you?
*looking over at Kasai a gentle expression came over Cinder's face. He seemed to not remember anything about himself or the planet...he was probably afraid, now that the excitement was over.*
How about a story first.
*opens one of the many books she had laying around and starts reading until Kasai's eyes flitter shut.*
*Cin then stands to see how the others are doing outside before she gets some sleep herself. Also, she thinks maybe she can find someone that would be able to tell her about her boy's seeming memory loss.*

Pam stopped screaming for water the minute the firecrackers stopped coming. Her cheaks flushed. Why hadn't she just gone and gotten some water?
She was too tired to really be that fascinated by the children suddenly showing up. She'd seen the others grow and after about the first five times the effect it had began to get smaller. It was still there but smaller.
With a tired sigh she turned towards the houses.
"Where should I stay?"

G_E was walking past Pam the moment the other woman spoke. G_E kept walking and without looking back at her said, "You can come stay with me if you want or go stay with some of the other girls. I think there's a few empty houses left"
She didn't wait for Pam's reply. She wasn't ignoring the woman on purpose. There was other things on her mind. Did her home have a lock on the front door? Where could she find chains?
G_E pulled the door of her home shut behind her and let Nika stand. She didn't bother checking the door lock. A simple door lock wouldn't be enough to stop him.
She sighed and stared down at her kiddies. "I think... it'd be a good idea if we slept in the same room. I'd feel more comfortable that way."
Nika nodded and then paused, 'What's wrong?' His gaurdian seemed sort of jumpy and paranoid. She worried him. There was obviously something she wasn't telling him.
"Nothing, hun, I'm just a little paranoid. I'll sleep on my old cot and you can have the bed... I kick when I sleep." She said stepping into her bedroom.
He chuckled, crawled into her bed and under the covers. Gently, so he wouldn't wake her he took Bizzy off of his head and set her on the pillow beside him. Through half-closed eyes he watched as his gaurdian pushed the cot up against the door, and set her daggers on the floor beside it. For easy access, he assumed.
Gee was acting strangely. She kept getting off of the cot to go look out the window. What the heck was bothering her?

*Cin sat on her front porch, watching the other late birds wander about. Looking up at the sky she could tell that it would be dawn soon, she knew she should get some sleep. Spying Pam wandering the grounds as if lost, Cin sighed, the poor girl looked so lost and it looked as if the others were going about their business without her. Stretching and standing up Cinder called over to Pam.*
If you need a place to put up for the night you are welcome in my house. All I can offer is a bedroll on a cot but it is better then trying to set up house right now. If you would like we can get you your own place tomorrow.
*Cin sat waiting to see what the girl would say.*

Pam sighed and smiled at Cinderfae greatfully, "Thank you... I could use some sleep. I wouldn't mind my own place... but I'll deal with that later." She walked towards the house Cinderfae lived in.
"It was really nice of you to offer. Thank you again."

Haisyn finally registered the fact that everyone else seemed to be shuffling away from the scene, so she carefully picked up Ashy and headed back for the house they had been staying in.
Verran was asleep on the couch again, and Tavil seemed to have taken care not to put any weight on his chest and was sleeping on his stomach. She was too distracted to take note of that, though, much less wonder about it. And aside from her brother's soft snoring, it seemed quiet. Everyone else had either already gone to bed or hadn't returned yet.
She blindly fumbled through her room, testing each step before she took it. She remembered the floor being somewhat of a mess after she'd tossed all her belongings around trying to get ready for the hunt earlier. Finally, she ran knees first into the bed, and set Ash down gently.
Starting tomorrow I'm going to make sure you're safe and stay safe, sweets... I promise. Haisyn thought that more for her own benefit than for Ash's, seeing as she was unconscious, but the girl's eyes squinched up as if she'd furrowed her brow. Ash had come back so she could take care of her, Haisyn knew... but Ashy was still just a little girl, and there was only so much she could do. "You're not big enough to be protecting me yet, sweets. And I need to be able to protect the people I care about now... because I messed up last time. You understand, right?"
Ash's eyes calmed, and Haisyn wondered if the girl had really heard and understood the thoughts or the words she whispered, or if she'd simply had some sort of bad dream.
Haisyn's eyes had adjusted to the dimness in the room due to the curtain over the window, and shuffled over to said window to take a look outside. She could just see a corner of the garden fence from here, protecting all the growing things inside.
A fence? It might not help much, but it would offer some sort of protection for the whole camp from some of the less intelligent dangers, and it might slow some of the others down long enough for them to get ready to defend themselves. They also needed a holding pen of some sort for those animals Ice sent back earlier... if they ever even found them, that is. Still... it was a plan, of some sort, to help protect everyone. She'd try mentioning that in the morning while they were cleaning up outside.

Kaliska sighed and stood up, Galilee under her arm. She headed to her dwelling, grumbling.
As they passes, Galille waved to Kasai, What's up?

*Cinder smiled and opened her house door leading the way in. As the entered the main living room area she touched her finger to her lips in a quieting motion. A work bench with a stool next to it sat at the far end of her 'living room' pieces of technology and gadgets were spread over the floor. Not wanting her guest to fall over something she lit a lamp covering it as she did so so it would only give off a dim light.*
Lets try and keep quiet, don't want to wake my boy, also sorry about the mess.
*Cin pointed toward Kasai's room and through the halfway open door he could be seen sleeping quietly. She didn't know if Pam knew Kasai hadn't been around before or even if Pam cared, but she continued speaking*
He just emerged tonight... *as she said this a smile fell across her lips. Then Cin started pulling out a cot and layed a soft down bedroll over it.*
It isn't the best accomidations but it should be comfortable.
*looking around she makes sure she has remembered a pillow and then points down a short hallway.*
That is the bathroom down there and next to Kasai's room is my room. Is there anything else you need?
_______________________________________________
*waves back to Galilee* Not much, I think I am being put to bed though after the firework is cleaned up. *sigh* See you in the morning I suppose. *trudges after Cin into the house*
((Kasai answering Galilee happened before Cin invited Pam in...he was in bed by then. Just making sure the timeline doesn't look too messed up...Cin probably doesn't even realize Kali was around when he emerged))

Kata looked around seeing everyone quite ready for bed. "I think I will stay up a bit." She said nearly to herself as she had turned to the fire. "Make sure the fire dies down a bit., you know..." Kata wasn't much for more then one day of sleep in a row but she will probably head inside afte rthe fire is safely out.

Pam nodded and pressed a finger to her own lips. Pam did her best to not step on any gadgets. It wouldn't be good if she accidently broke some important piece of equipment. She smiled at Cinderfae gratefully as the other woman turned on the lamp. It was easier to see now.
"It's alright, mess doesn't bother me. I'm naturally a messy person anyways," she paused and smiled at the mention of Cinderfae's boy and she lowered her voice, "Of course we can be quiet. I'm happy for you."
Pam gently sat down on the cot. She nodded at Cinderfae, "I'm fine. This is great. Thank you."

Alright, if you are ok out here, I am going to head off to bed.
*Cin walked over to the front door and pushed a button attached to a gadget on it.*
This is just an alarm, it will sound if the door is opened well it is activated, if you get up before me just press this button again. *gestures to the button she just pushed* I would like to think masquarade is safe, but spacer paranoia doesn't go away easily.
*smiles*
I will be off then to get some rest.
*goes to her room*

When Ice and Io got back there was a scowl on Ice's face. They had found the fairy, but the fairy had found Silva. The question was... why was the fairy still alive?
Io looked around, catching the new lives in the camp. There was a slight smile of anticipation... a vicious anticipation as she realized who it was. But she said nothing, merely looked around, taking in the damage from the firecrackers. Where's Ashy? She asked finally, not sensing the other female strongly enough to pinpoint her.
"She's alive. We need to get Loki and Scagg--" Ice stopped, catching sight of the males in question sitting at their posts already. "Never mind." She said, relaxing for the first time that night.
"You take the north end, I'll take this end. And if you see him--"
Kill him.
"Scream." Ice replied, sighing. "Times like this I wish you weren't a mute."
Me too.

(going to fill in what I've been doing and get me back in the swing, sorry if this gets long.)
Fauve lit off her fireworks when the others had gone off and turned to walk back and see the commotion their mischief caused. At first she had been elated it seemed they had succeeded to cause a bit of pandemonium, however that changed quickly when she tried to share her joy with her sister. 'Look at them jump Ashirah, look! It's great! But there was no answer, and Fauve saw Ice carry her into camp... unconcious.... hurt... Fauve froze, her blood turning into ice water in her veins. If she could scream rage she would have, she wanted to claw whoever hurt her precious sister into pieces.
Merci felt an overwelming feeling of hatred, and rage from Fauve, so thick it choked her and she sat quietly. She had drifted to the background holding Uriel and listening to the other women really cutting loose and having fun. She also saw all the masks change as well. But when those fireworks went off she had been just as terrified at first as everyone else and didn't honestly think Fauve had anything to do with it. But where Ashy was, Fauve wasn't far behind. She was going to stand up and go look for her girl, honestly worried when that wave of unbridled emotion hit her like a brick wall and made her sit back down trying to breath.
Fauve didn't have much, just the knife that Merci gave her to protect herself, but she wouldn't stay here. She couldn't stay here, the person, or.. or thing that hurt her sister was out there, and she wouldn't rest until it was laying in bloody pieces at her feet. Sweet revenge, Inathe who was completely panicked had finally found her and curled around the girl hissing. She turned around and started to head off into the forest to find what hurt her best and most treasured friend.
Merci stood up and clutched Uriel to her side. She looked around to ask if anyone had seen her half of the troublesome twosome, but the other inhabitents of the homebase seemed happy to drift away. She bit her lip, it didn't matter she wasn't their responsibility, Fauve was her problem and she would have to deal with it. With one Hatchi on her head, Uriel in her arms, and true fear that she wouldn't be able to find her "Daughter" let alone protect her from whatever she had planned, she started searching the grounds.
Fauve stopped at the edge of the forest surrounding their secured clearing, and she stared at it. Rage urging her to go forward, she took a tentative step. Her mind was screaming at how filthy she would get, how ugly, and blood was REALLY dirty. I mean if it hit her she could get a BRUISE! What would she do about that, but... but she couldn't care more about how she looked then her sister... Ashirha would do anything for her, and she couldn't return less then that.. With at deep breath she plunged into the underbrush.
(alright I figure Fauve ran off about when Ice went to go fetch Io, Merci has been turning the camp upside down since then, Merci would still be looking when Ice gets back... so.... yeah that's about where we're at.. sorry I've been out girls!)
