Tranquility watched him go, something wasnt right, it was a feeling she had, she put the plate down, covered the food up with the spare material and walked over to him, standing behind by about half a foot "Gus, whats wrong?" She asked softly, standing beside him "I apologise if something I said upset you, I truely didnt mean to upset you, if there is anything I can do to make it up to you, please, tell me?" She asked, sitting down in the cool water, hoping the other would be alright regardless.

He continued to stare at first. "It's not you love. I was just wondering if any of us had the same parents. If we had brothers or sisters still living. It was a stray thought. No need to worry." He sat down next to her and nuzzled her lightly.

"If we did we will never know, they would be long gone now" she said with a sigh, nuzzling the other back absent mindedly as she watched the full moon reflect itself upon the oceans surface "but, does it really matter? I mean, it would be nice to know but given we are here then would it not be best to just live in the present? I came here seek out my parents but my searching is pointing me in the direction of just living for now. It would of been nice to find out about my parents, maybe if I had any siblings etc, some day maybe I will know, I know its just been several days but I am truely starting to wonder if what I was searching for was what I had all along, a loving family, parents that love me, a sister and two brothers, friends.
As I said, it would of been nice to know if I had biological parents and siblings but what makes a family? It doesnt matter wether you are related to them or not, if you have been brought up by your aunt, uncle, grandmother or, in our case, strangers...or what were once strangers, then that is all the family we need. Some day we may find news about the other dragons being alive, maybe them knowing about our parents or, if we had any, siblings, but till then, I think being away from my family for the past several days has mde me realise that I dont need to know who my biological family ar.
I have one that loves me just as much as any biological set of parents or siblings would and that is more important then I could of ever imagined, I knew this before but took it for granted, being around this place has made me take a step back and look at my life another way, take note of the important things, if I hear about my family one day, great, till then I dont think I will bother about it. It will always be in my mind and heart, wondering about my birth parents and if I had siblings but im not going to worry about it anymore, I have done so all my life and I think im ready to put that part of me to rest, whoever they are.
I guess I will always love them in some way, they brought me into this world after all and so I will always be thankful to them, but my family is Silverwind and her children, to me she is mother, im now ready to finally accept that" she said as she kissed Gus' cheek "you have a herd that loves you as well, dont dwell on what may have been, lifes too short for that, just accept what we have now, we both could not have asked for better. Both my family and your herd have been great to us, maybe its time we let them know we appreciate them and everything they have done for us more then we do now" she said to him as she rested her head agianst Gus' head and looked back out into the ocean, sighing contentedly as she thought about Silverwind, hoping she was alright, the same for her little brother, Kincade, she missed them both greatly.
((My apologies if its a tad repetitive, im tired and needing a nap but forcing myself awake. ^^; ))

He blushed a bit from the nuzzle and kiss. He listened and realized this was the best for him. He liked her and this. "I understand. Ruth has been good to me. Even he has no family, but he has Amaya and her siblings. I guess that is how we are meant to be right now. Our herds are our families. It is nice to learn of the past, but we will make a new future among the others. I think that's why we were left. We will have our own children and soon enough we and the others will mingle our blood. We'll have many children who will play and mingle with the others and be unique in their own way." He laid his cheek on hers and kissed it gently.
"I heard that a couple of dragons have already had children. It would be nice to see more of our kind about. Just like the Seryphs wish for. Erty already has breed twice. Her children are quite interesting. I wonder what ours would be like. I mean if you want that of course." He put his wing around her and stared off at the beauty before him content.

Tranquility blushed at the kiss and yet while she wanted to say no to all of this, that maybe it was getting a bit TOO much, after all, this was technically their first date after all, maybe it was the moonlight reflecting on the ocean that was a romantic scene or the warm night and cool ocean that made her think differently about this situation, whatever it was she didnt want to be anywhere else, especially not with anyone else. Tranquility snuggled up agianst the other dragon, listening to him and nodded, they were on the same wave length, it was actually nice to know, for some reason it seemed good to hear someone echo her own thoughts...sorta.
"I agree with everything you say, it seems so nice to hear someone share my thoughts, our children will be unique, they will have the life we never got, they will have parents who love them and even grandparents, we may not know our biological parents but at least they will know theirs, that will be enough" she said as she looked at him and nodded "and as you can tell, it is a yes" she said nuzzling him. "Maybe the fact that the moon is so beautiful tonight is making me think so irrational, just jumping into the deep end like this but I...I dont want to be away from you, I cant describe it, is it love at first sight? I dont know, but I want want to stay by you, maybe im being stupid for deciding this after we just knew each other for just a little while but I would love to bare your children some day.
Call me a fool but the fact the children would have both parents unlike we did is reason enough to have children...sorta, two loving parents is all they need, as long as you dont do a runner like some guys do, I think I can handle losing my figure for you" she said teasingly as she looked back out over the ocean, knowing h wouldnt run off and not take responsability for this, still, it was in jest that she said it, he would be a good father, she knew he would be.

He smiled and nodded. "I think you'd look as beautiful or more when with child. I can't run away. I'm enthralled by you." He chuckled and kissed her lips lightly. "Someday can be a long time from now, but if you want we can have our dessert." He seemed awfully hungry all of a sudden and still a bit warm.

She asked playfully as she kissed him back "hmmm, lets see...dessert or waiting for someday...you know, thats a terribly tough choice, I dont know what to pick" she said giggling as she moved away from him reluctantly and walked back to their picnic "and seriously, you have bad taste, im not that interesting, if anything, im a plain Jane and a boring one at that, just asking my siblings" she said as she removed the material and placed it back in the basket. So, care to help yourself?" She asked as she started to cut the cheesecake into slices "or want me to dish it out?"

He chuckled. "Am I biased? Hmm." He walked back with her. "It doesn't matter to me you are quite beautiful." He looked at her quickly and smiled. "To you or the cheesecake?" He had no idea where that had come from. He quickly looked down at the cheesecake. "You can dish it out please. Thanks for all this."

Tranquility giggled "you know, maybe you should take english lessons" she teased as she got a bowl for each of them and scooped a large scoops of ice cream into each one and then a rather large slice of cheesecake into each of the plates also and handed one to him and a spoon "I take it you can do the rest" she said as she gestured towards whipped cream, three different three different flavors of syrup, strawberry, chocolate and caramel. "And you are rather handsom yourself" she said picking up the glass and finishing it before looking down at the chocolate caramel and chocolate mint slices, pondering wether or not she should have one, regardless of the fact that she had a bowl of cheesecake and ice cream in front of her "and I wouldnt say thanks yet, I still need to poison you remember?" She teased the other.

"Maybe. Yep I can handle the rest. Hmm I think I may like this kind of poisoning." He eats the cheesecake and ice cream with enthusiasm and moaning. "So good!"

Tranquility took a bite of the cheesecake and savored the taste for a few moments, thinking things over in her mind before looking at the other dragon "thanks" she said smiling at him, finally realising what he had said "arnt you glade you are now going out with someone who can cook?" She said grinning at him "that is, unless you piss me off and I wont cook for you at all but im sure it will never come to that" she teased him as she took a bite of ice cream.

"Just realise when we have kids, I wont be cooking at all, no way am I going to take care of kids all day, with or without your help, and then slave over a hot stove, seen one too many ponys stress themselves out like that, some even becom ill by it and no way am I going to end up like that, not when children will be stressfull enough" she said to him as she picked up a slice and nibbled on it.

Tranquility rolled her eyes "and if you even THINK I need protecting then this relationship is over before its even begun" she said glearing at him, one thing she loathed was males thinking she needed protecting, she was more then capable of taking care of herself, she didnt NEED some marcho male trying to protect her as if she was some weak, fragil girl who cries over chipped hoof polish and needed a man to rely on.
